A influência da violência doméstica na inserção do adolescente na rua / The influence of domestic violence in the insertion of adolescents in the street

ABSTRACT

This qualitative study is a result of discussions related to violence against teens. The study aims to identify the influence of home violence which could be the cause of children running way. An institution located in Feira de Santana - Bahia which takes care of homeless kids has been the place where the research has been carried out. The data have been collected through observation, semi-structured interviews and latter analyses of the teenager speeches. It has been showed that these population leave their homes because of the influences of social misery and also because those teenager think they could support their families by begging or prostitution, or just because the violence expressed by abandonment or even psychological violence; their stories of life reflect experiences of alcoholism, drug addiction, spanking, lack of love and suffering...
