A dimensão ética da diferença sexual / The ethic dimension of sexual difference

RESUMO

Ao descobrir a prevalência fálica na sexualidade infantil, Freud dá um passo ético. A evidência da dessimetria entre os sexos, no que diz respeito ao complexo de Édipo e a castração, aponta para a impossibilidade da relação sexual. Na ausência das ferramentas da lingüística, das quais Lacan se utilizou para dar conta dessa diferença, Freud se detém na relação imaginária entre ter ou não ter o pênis. Lacan retoma a análise do falo a partir da articulação significante, e, posteriormente, examina a castração pela vertente da angústia. Nessa perspectiva, o falo é alçado à condição de significante da falta e se presentifica na relação entre os sexos a partir da sua negativização, ou seja, como (-φ). Essa mudança de perspectiva conduz Lacan a diferenciar o modo masculino e feminino de se posicionar na partilha sexual.

ABSTRACT

By assuming that childhood sexuality contains the particularity of phallic prevalence, Freud gives an ethical position faces the dissymmetry existing between male and female. This work investigates the ethical dimension of sexual difference, considering that the absence pointed by the phallus functions as a substitute for the sexual relation that doesn’t exists. In absence of the linguistic tools used by Lacan to think this difference, Freud finds itself tied in the imaginary relation of having or having not the penis. Lacan retakes the phallus analysis from the significant articulation; and, later, examines the castration by the anguish side. In this perspective, the phallus gets the condition of significant absence and accomplishes itself in the relation among sexes by turning it negative, in other words, as (-φ).
