ABSTRACT
A descriptive study was carried to determine the attitudes and behaviors related with environmental health in 143 nurse students. The questionnaires were elaborated on the basis of validated Likert scales about environmental attitudes andbehaviors, with 8 and 12 items respectively. The most important positive attitudes were related with those would be dangerous for the health and more frequent behaviors with the appropriate use of water and energy; a weak relationship exists between environmental attitudes and behaviors (rs= 0,30). In accordance with the scales, the students have a positive environmental attitude but they do not reflect it in their behaviors, which can influence their next activities likeenvironmental health promoters in negative way.
