RESUMEN
Las malignizaciones en las cicatrices de quemaduras previas generalmente se conocen como úlcera de Marjolin. El carcinoma escamocelular es el principalmente informado en la literatura. La patogénesis de este tumor es debida a la irritación crónica del área afecta; principalmente involucra las extremidades y área del cuero cabelludo. Se presenta un caso raro de úlcera de Marjolin en la región lumbosacra, de tipo espinocelular bien diferenciado en un hombre de 62 años de edad, 11 años después de una quemadura con gasolina que presentó una tumoración ulcerada crónica de crecimiento progresivo en región lumbosacra que había estado presente desde hace 3 meses. El caso se manejó con radioterapia preoperatorio más exéresis del tumor y cierre injerto cutáneo, con adecuada evolución y sin recidiva a los 4 años de postoperatorio.
ABSTRACT
Malignancies in the scars of previous burns is generally known as ulcer Marjolin's. The squamous cell carcinoma is the main cancer type reported in the literature. The pathogenesis of this tumor is due to the chronic irritation of the area it affects; and mainly it involves the extremities and scalp area. A rare case of Marjolin's ulcer is presented, localized in the lumbosacral region, of the differentiated squamous all type. A man 62 years of age, 11 years after a burn with gasoline, it presented tumor chronic ulcers of progressive growth in region lumbosacral that had been present for 3 months. The case was managed with radiotherapy more tumor excision of the tumor and closing cutaneous implant, with appropriate evolution and without relapse to the 4 years of postoperative.
