RESUMO
Os autores discutem as modificações da hemodinâmica encefálica que conferem à curva de Langfitto aspecto exponencial que se relaciona com a rápida piora da hipertensão intracraniana. Concluíram ser interessante considerar que a cascata vasodilatadora pode ser importante no desenvolvimento desse fenômeno.
ABSTRACT
The authors discuss the modification in the intracranial hemodynamic that causes the exponential aspect of the ascending part of the Langfitt curve. The hypothesis concerning the importance of the vasodilatation’s cascade in the genesis of the phenomenon is very interesting.
