RESUMEN
Se analizan los resultados de las miomectomías practicadas en nueve mujeres sin otra causa aparente de infertilidad. Siete de ellas (77,8%) se embarazaron. 71,4% de los embarazos ocurrió en el primer año luego de la cirugía. La diferencia entre la duración de la infertilidad (6,8 años) y el tiempo requerido para lograr embarazo (9,6 meses) es altamente significativa (p<0,001). Los resultados sugieren que la cirugía sería el procedimiento de elección en una paciente infertil que no presente otra causa aparente de su infertilidad
