RESUMEN
Se presenta el caso de una paciente que cursa con mioma uterino gigante y embarazo a término a quien se realiza cesárea, por la localización del mioma en la cara anterior del útero. La histerotomía se realiza por el fondo uterino; la cavidad abdominal se aborda a través de una incisión vertical media que abarca desde pubis hasta 8 cm por encima del ombligo. ABSTRACT
We report the case of a patient with giant uterine myoma and term pregnancy that underwent cesarean section, for the location of the myoma in the anterior wall of the uterus. An hysterotomy was performed via uterine fundus and the abdominal cavity is addressed through half of a vertical incision extending from pubis up to 8 cm above navel. A total abdominal hysterectomy was subsequently performed
