RESUMO
As atividades cotidianas ou as ocupações refletem hábitos, rotinas e papéis. Os papéis inserem o indivíduo na estrutura social e podem frente a um diagnóstico clínico conduzira uma alteração no desempenho deste. A artrite reumatóide (AR) é exemplo de doença crônica e incapacitante que altera a funcionalidade do indivíduo. Objetivou-se descrever os papéisocupacionais de indivíduos diagnosticados com AR e identificaro grau de importância desses papéis na vida dos mesmos em um ambulatório de reumatologia do município de Uberaba/MG. Os dados foram coletados através da Lista de Identificação de Papéis Ocupacionais junto à pacientes com AR no Setor de Reumatologia do Ambulatório da Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. Foram selecionados 27 sujeitos para o estudo. No passado os papéis estudante e amigo foram mais desempenhados pelos sujeitoscom AR, enquanto no presente foram os de amigo e membro da família, sendo esses pretendidos também no futuro. O papel considerado como mais importante foi trabalhador, no entantonão é mais desempenhado.
ABSTRACT
Everyday activities or occupations reflect habits, routines and roles. The roles insert the individual in the social structure and can against a clinical diagnosis lead to a change in the performance of this. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an example of chronic and disabling disease that alters theindividual´s functionality. This study describes the occupational roles of individuals diagnosed with RA and identify the degree of importance of these roles in their lives in a rheumatology clinic in the city of Uberaba/MG. Data were collected from the Role Checklist with the RA patients in the Division of RheumatologyOut-Patients Clinic of the Federal University of Triangulo Mineiro. Twenty seven subjects were selected for the study. In the past the roles student and friend were played by more subjects with RA, whereas in this were the friend and family member, these being intended in the future. The role considered most important was worker, however is no longer played.
