ABSTRACT
Objective To evaluate the shore-term efficacy and the X-ray evolution of new smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis after short-course chemotherapy. Methods 3229 cases with new smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis were treated with 2H_3R_3Z_3S_3/4H_3R_3 or 2 H_3R_3Z_3E_3/4H_3R_3 chemotherapy.Clinical efficacy and the X-ray evolution were analyzed after treatment. Results Among 3229 cases after treatment, the clinical cure rate and chest X-ray effective rate were 98%(3163/3229) and 98%(3163/3229) respectively. Conclusion The standardized chemotherapy treatment can achieve high clinical cure rate and X-ray cure rate for pulmonary tuberculosis.
