ABSTRACT

Objective To study assessments on the use of foot orthosis for children with CP under derection by physician, technician and parents. Method One hundred and ten children with CP using foot orthosis were divided into two groups. One group was intervened by the technicians of making foot orthosis, another group was intervened by the doctors, the technicians and patriarch trained, together. Result There was clear difference between the two group. The trial group was better than the control group (x2 = 30. 2, P ＜ 0. 005) . Conclusion Assessments the use of foot orthosis for children with CP should be performed by the doctors, the technicians and patriarch trained together so that the curative effect of foot orthosis can be truly gained.
