ABSTRACT

Objective:

To explore the protective effects of jujube polysaccharide on liver injury model mice induced by ethionine and paracetamol.

Methods:

Liver injury mice model was induced by gavage with ethionine suspension or intraperitoneal injection of parcharide. ALT levels in serum and liver histopathological changes were measured, the protective effect of jujube polysaccharide on liver injury model mice induced by ethionine or paracetamol was observed.

Results:

Mice liver injury model can be successfully established by gavage with ethionine or intraperitoneal injection of paracetamol. High and low-dose jujuba polysaccharide and the glucurolactone groups can significantly lower the ALT levels in serum and significantly improve pathological changes in liver injury model.

Conclusion:

Jujube polysaccharide had good protective effects on liver injury model mice induced by ethionine or paracetamol.
