ABSTRACT

AIM:

To investigate the protective effect of ginger oil on liver.

METHODS:

Mouse model of acute hepatic injury induced by carbon tetrachloride and acetaminophen were used to observe the protective effect of ginger oil on liver.

RESULTS:

Ginger oil could obviously decrease ALT and AST levels of mouse model of acute hepatic injury induced by carbon tetrachloride and acetaminophen,significantly decrease MDA level of rat liver tissue and mouse serum(P
