ABSTRACT
With the continuous advancement and improvement of medical technology, the survival rate of preterm infants has gradually increased. Due to the increasing frequency of mechanical ventilation in the neonatal intensive care unit, acute lung injury (ALI),bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and other common serious complications are inevitable, which seriously affect the quality of life in children. At present, the etiology and pathogenesis of BPD and ALI are not yet clear, but studies had shown that the two had the same genetic factors, such as tumor necrosis factor-α, Toll-like receptor, pulmonary surfactant protein, mi-croRNA and other genes. This paper reviewed the role of tumor necrosis factor-α, Toll-like receptor in the development of BPD and ALI.
