Second primary malignancy in patient with multiple myeloma: A report of two cases and the review of literature / 肿瘤

ABSTRACT
Objective: To report 2 cases of multiple myeloma (MM) with secondary malignancy and do a literature review to improve the understanding of secondary malignancy of MM. Methods: The clinical characteristics, treatment and prognosis of 2 cases of MM patients with secondary malignancy were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results: The incidence rate of second primary malignancy of MM was low, and the secondary bladder cancer and the neuroendocrine carcinoma were rare. Conclusion: The pathogenesis of second primary malignancy of MM patients and the prognosis are not clear, which needs further research.
