ABSTRACT

The first National Science Conference held in 1978 marked the beginning of full recovery of China′s science and technology undertakings, as well as the arrival of "spring of science" for Chinese scientists and technicians. During 43 years, the seeds sown in the "spring of science" have blossomed and borne fruit. The rapid development of science and technology in China has not only improved the quality of life of the Chinese people, but also made China more prosperous and stronger. The author briefly reviews the positive role of national policy and innovation achievements as well as construction of innovation system in Chinese medical field, and puts forward the direction of efforts in Chinese medical field especially orthopedic field.
