[Anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect of geroprotector based on the extract from biomass of Panax ginseng].

Anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect of bioantioxidant complex from biomass of Panax ginseng was investigated. Extract from biomass of Panax ginseng with antioxidant action can neutralize the negative effects of free radicals. Complex had a strong regenerating and anti-inflammatory action first of all in the exudative phase of inflammation.

[Radiation-protective action of bioantioxidant complex of ginseng extract in the model of the radiation-induced aging during development of radiation-induced neoplasms].

The study of the geriatric properties of the bioantioxidant complex "Neovitin" received from a biomass of ginseng, against formation of radio gene tumors was continued. The preparation was applied to the laboratory animals exposed to chronic gamma irradiation by low doses, by all period of irradiation and thirty days in the post beam period. The expressed anticancerogenic effect of "Neovitin", reducing formation of radio gene tumors, including malignant, as well as reduction of a spectrum of new growths were proved.

[Geriatric properties of a bioantioxidant complex ginseng on model of the accelerated radioactive aging].

The work starts studying the geriatric properties of the bioantioxidant complex "Neovitin" received from a biomass of ginseng, on model of accelerated radioactive aging. The preparation was applied before radioactive irradiation to study its preventive effect, and after irradiation to study the therapeutic effect. Efficiency of the complex was estimated by the survival rate of animals after irradiation in the experimental model. The increase in life expectancy of experimental animals as a result of preparation use is proved.

[The detection of the presence of azafen in cadaveric material]. / Ustanovlenie nalichiia azafena v trupnom materiale.

Possibility of isolating azaphen from the cadaveric material by acidified water and acetonitrile (as extractant) is shown. Isolation rate (75.6%) of azaphen (with 1 mg of preparation added to 25 g of the liver by acetonitrile is significantly higher than in isolation by acidified water (41.7%).

[The isolation of amitriptyline from cadaveric material using acetonitrile]. / Izolirovanie amitriptilina iz trupnogo materiala atsetonitrilom.

Method of amitriptyline isolation from the cadaveric material using acetonitrile as extractant is suggested. This method makes it possible to extract in average 76.09% of substance previously added in quantity of 1 mg to 25 g of the liver. Method was successfully used in analysis of expert material.

The authors consider that the list of drugs and narcotics which can be reliably identified in a general forensic chemical analysis of cadaveric material (not a purposeful screening) should be changed. Isolation by acidified water, hydrochloric acid hydrolysis, and by acetonitrile should be used for isolation of drugs and narcotic compounds in forensic chemical analysis of cadaveric material.

Analysis of the resultant mathematical models demonstrated that exposure of liver tissue to aqueous solutions of acids leads to an increase of pH, and its contact with alkaline solutions results in an appreciable decrease of the pH of the model system. This should be borne in mind when creating and analyzing analog models describing the process of extraction of various organic compounds from biological material.

The authors have analyzed methodologic errors made by chemical experts in records of forensic chemical investigations selected at random. The major errors are classified and their frequency determined in relation to the complexity of the task. Suggestions are made aimed at improvement of the quality of forensic chemical investigations.

Under the influence of atmospheric pollutions certain structural-functional changes take place in placenta: terminal villi per stipulated square unite, villi with desquamated epithelium, with dilated vessels, with deposition of fibrinoid masses, with plasmodial buds increase in number; section area occupied by epithelial layer decreases; RNA concentration and histoenzymatic activity change in the latter.
