[Cutaneous infiltratiton by chronic myelononocytic leukemia: presentation of three cases]. / Infiltración cutánea por leucemia mielomonocítica crónica: presentación de tres casos

Leukemia cutis refers to cutaneous infiltration by malignant hematopoietic cells. Its clinical manifestations are highly variable and biopsy is required for confirmation. We present three cases of patients with persistent monocytosis and skin lesions whose diagnosis was chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. The biopsy of skin lesions showed a dermal infiltration by atypical myelocytes and monocytes. Immunohistochemical study was positive for CD68. These findings were compatible with cutaneous infiltration by chronic myelomonocytic leukemic cells.

Bullous Pemphigoid Developed after the COVID-19 Vaccine.

A 91-year-old man presented with pruriginous tense blisters and erosions on the upper and lower extremities (Figures 1A and 1B). Mucous membranes were unaffected and Nikolsky's sign was negative. These lesions appeared 48 hours after the administration of the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. The patient had received the first dose of the same vaccine 23 days prior to the onset of lesions. He did not suffer from any other post-vaccination adverse effects.
