RESUMEN

Reflective mirrors are the key imaging components of space-borne telescopes, which require a high lightweight ratio integrated with excellent optical properties. In this context, a novel, to our knowledge, 2.5D centroidal Voronoi tessellation (CVT) generation methodology is proposed for designing and optimizing a lightweight mirror structure. Firstly, the initial designs are obtained combining global sensitivity factor mapping and local distribution optimization. Then, the optimal model is selected through multi-objective optimization and decision making. Subsequently, the FEA (finite element analysis) results indicate that, under the same mass, the proposed design exhibits better optomechanical performance. Finally, in practical applications, the approach presented in this paper outperforms the traditional design for each technological requirement, including a 62% reduction in RMS and a higher lightweight ratio. This method offers a kind of novel design and optimization process for space-based optomechanical lightweight structures.

RESUMEN

As space resources become increasingly constrained, the major space-faring nations are establishing large space target monitoring systems. There is a demand for both the number and the detection capability of space-based optical monitoring equipment. The detection range (i.e., field of view) and parasitic capability (lightweight and small size) of a single optical payload will largely reduce the scale and cost of the monitoring system. Therefore, in this paper, the optic-mechanical system of an ultra-lightweight and ultra-compact space camera and the optical alignment method are investigated around a fully freeform off-axis triple-reversal large field of view (FOV) optical system. The optic-mechanical system optimisation design is completed by adopting the optic-mechanical integration analysis method, and the weight of the whole camera is less than 10 kg. In addition, to address the mounting problems caused by the special characteristics of the freeform surface optical system, a dual CGH coreference alignment method is innovatively proposed. The feasibility of the method is verified by the mounting and testing test, and the test results show that the system wavefront difference is better than 1/10 λ. The imaging test of the space camera and the magnitude test results meet the design requirements of the optical system. The optic-mechanical system design method and alignment method proposed in this paper are instructive for the design and engineering of large field of view full freeform optical loads.

RESUMEN

A novel autofocusing algorithm using the directional wavelet power spectrum is proposed for time delayed and integration charge coupled device (TDI CCD) space cameras, which overcomes the difficulty of focus measure for the real-time change of imaging scenes. Using the multiresolution and band-pass characteristics of wavelet transform to improve the power spectrum based on fast Fourier transform (FFT), the wavelet power spectrum is less sensitive to the variance of scenes. Moreover, the new focus measure can effectively eliminate the impact of image motion mismatching by the directional selection. We test the proposed method's performance on synthetic images as well as a real ground experiment for one TDI CCD prototype camera, and compare it with the focus measure based on the existing FFT spectrum. The simulation results show that the new focus measure can effectively express the defocused states for the real remote sensing images. The error ratio is only 0.112, while the prevalent algorithm based on the FFT spectrum is as high as 0.4. Compared with the FFT-based method, the proposed algorithm performs at a high reliability in the real imaging experiments, where it reduces the instability from 0.600 to 0.161. Two experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has the characteristics of good monotonicity, high sensitivity, and accuracy. The new algorithm can satisfy the autofocusing requirements for TDI CCD space cameras.

RESUMEN

The application of phenylurea herbicides (PUHs) may lead to the extensive distribution in soils, while the role of straw biochar as a soil amendment on the transport and sorption of PUHs are still unclear. Thus, the transport and sorption behavior of three typical PUHs with rice straw biochar (RSB) was studied in both adsorption simulation experiments of aqueous solution and packed column experiments. The sorption mechanism of RSB to herbicides was investigated through batch sorption studies with three influencing factors including dosage of RSB, pH, and ionic strength (IS) with orthogonal test. The sorption coefficients were improved significantly by increasing the dosage of RSB, while there was no obvious influence by enhancing the pH and IS value. The optimal sorption conditions (pH value at 3, IS at 0.1 M, and RSB dosage at 60 mg) of three herbicides were set and the maximum removal rates of Monuron, Diuron, and Linuron were 41.9%, 25%, and 56.8%, respectively. The co-transport process of RSB and PUHs were investigated under different RSB dosage, pH value, and IS value. The retention effect increased greatly with enhancing the RSB dosage and pH value. However, IS did not have a significant influence on the retention of RSB, and therefore it had little effect on the adsorption capacity, which was consistent with the results of sorption experiments. The breakthrough curves (BTCs) for co-transport were well simulated by the two-site non-equilibrium convection-dispersion equation (CDE). Most of the regression coefficients (R2) were above 0.99, which uncovered the co-transport in packed column were affected by physical absorption and chemical forces. According to the fitting parameters analysis, the RSB particles and PUHs were subjected to a greater resistance and a stronger stability by reducing pH value in porous media. The presence of RSB increased the amount of dynamic sorption sites in the entire co-transport system, which led to a significant promotion of the PUHs' sorption and interception.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of extended care in patients with COPD. PATIENTS AND METHODS: A total of 140 patients with GOLD-2 to -4 of COPD were included in final analysis. The care efficacy was evaluated by the St George's Respiratory Questionnaire 12-item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), pulmonary function test and blood gas analysis. RESULTS: The extended care improved the activity ability of COPD patients, relieved the clinical symptoms as well as reduced the impact degree of COPD to daily life (P<0.05). In addition, the extended care improved the mental health condition of patients with COPD compared with usual care (P<0.05). Moreover, the extended care improved the ventilation function of COPD patients, reduced the acute exacerbation rate and improved the blood gas levels compared with the usual care (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The extended care improves the quality of life, respiratory function and the mental health condition of patients with COPD after discharge, indicating that it contributes to the disease control of patients with COPD.
