Protein lysine acetylation is an important post-translational modification mechanism involved in cellular regulation in eukaryotes. Calmodulin (CaM) is a ubiquitous Ca2+ sensor in eukaryotes and is crucial for plant immunity, but it is so far unclear whether acetylation is involved in CaM-mediated plant immunity. Here, we found that GhCaM7 is acetylated upon Verticillium dahliae (V. dahliae) infection and a positive regulator of V. dahliae resistance. Overexpressing GhCaM7 in cotton and Arabidopsis enhances V. dahliae resistance and knocking-down GhCaM7 makes cotton more susceptible to V. dahliae. Transgenic Arabidopsis plants overexpressing GhCaM7 with mutation at the acetylation site are more susceptible to V. dahliae than transgenics overexpressing the wild-type GhCaM7, implying the importance of the acetylated GhCaM7 in response to V. dahliae infection. Yeast two-hybrid, bimolecular fluorescent complementation, luciferase complementation imaging, and coimmunoprecipitation assays demonstrated interaction between GhCaM7 and an osmotin protein GhOSM34 that was shown to have a positive role in V. dahliae resistance. GhCaM7 and GhOSM34 are co-localized in the cell membrane. Upon V. dahliae infection, the Ca2+ content reduces almost instantly in plants with downregulated GhCaM7 or GhOSM34. Down regulating GhOSM34 enhances accumulation of Na+ and increases cell osmotic pressure. Comparative transcriptomic analyses between cotton plants with an increased or reduced expression level of GhCaM7 and wild-type plants indicate the involvement of jasmonic acid signaling pathways and reactive oxygen species in GhCaM7-enabled disease resistance. Together, these results demonstrate the involvement of CaM protein in the interaction between cotton and V. dahliae, and more importantly, the involvement of the acetylated CaM in the interaction.

BACKGROUND: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease that primarily affects the joints. Individuals at risk for RA and people with RA develop intestinal dysbiosis. The changes in intestinal flora composition in preclinical and confirmed RA patients suggest that intestinal flora imbalance may play an important role in the induction and persistence of RA. METHODS: Based on the current research on the interaction between RA and intestinal microbiota, intestinal microbiota metabolites and intestinal barrier changes. This paper systematically summarized the changes in intestinal microbiota in RA patients, the metabolites of intestinal flora, and the influence mechanism of intestinal barrier on RA, and further discussed the influence of drugs for RA on intestinal flora and its mechanism of action. RESULTS: Compared with healthy controls, α diversity analysis of intestinal flora showed no significant difference, ß diversity analysis showed significant differences. The intestinal flora produces bioactive metabolites, such as short-chain fatty acids and aromatic amino acids, which have anti-inflammatory effects. Abnormal intestinal flora leads to impaired barrier function and mucosal immune dysfunction, promoting the development of inflammation. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and chemical drugs can also alleviate RA by regulating intestinal flora, intestinal flora metabolites, and intestinal barrier. Intestinal flora is closely related to the pathogenesis of RA and may become potential biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of RA. CONCLUSIONS: Intestinal flora and its metabolites play an important role in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases such as RA, and are expected to become a new target for clinical diagnosis and treatment, providing a new idea for targeted treatment of RA.

A Gram-positive, acid-fast, aerobic, rapidly growing and non-motile strain was isolated from lead-zinc mine tailing sampled in Lanping, Yunnan province, Southwest China. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that the most closely related species of strain KC 300T was Mycolicibacterium litorale CGMCC 4.5724T (98.47â%). Additionally, phylogenomic and specific conserved signature indel analysis revealed that strain KC 300T should be a member of genus Mycolicibacterium, and Mycobacterium palauense CECT 8779T and Mycobacterium grossiae DSM 104744T should also members of genus Mycolicibacterium. The genome size of strain KC 300T was 6.2 Mb with an in silico DNA G+C content of 69.2 mol%. Chemotaxonomic characteristics of strain KC 300T were also consistent with the genus Mycolicibacterium. The average nucleotide identity, digital DNA-DNA hybridization and average amino acid identity values, as well as phenotypic, physiological and biochemical characteristics, support that strain KC 300T represents a new species within the genus Mycolicibacterium, for which the name Mycolicibacterium arseniciresistens sp. nov. is proposed, with the type strain KC 300T (=CGMCC 1.19494T=JCM 35915T). In addition, we reclassified Mycobacterium palauense and Mycobacterium grossiae as Mycolicibacterium palauense comb. nov. and Mycolicibacterium grossiae comb. nov., respectively.

The structural modification of curcumin has always been a hotspot in drug development. In this paper, a class of cinnamylaldehyde-derived mono-carbonyl curcumin analogs (MCAs) with 7-carbon-links were designed and synthesized and their anticancer properties were evaluated. Through screening anti-gastric cancer activity of these compounds, H1 exhibited the strongest cytotoxic activity by inhibiting cell viability and colony formation, inducing cell cycle G2/M phase arrest in vitro (SGC-7901 and AGS gastric cancer cells). Moreover, the SGC-7901 subcutaneous tumor-bearing mice studies revealed that H1 significantly inhibited the tumor growth of gastric cancer. We explored the possible potential targets of H1 through network pharmacology. Mechanistically, our results demonstrated that H1 showed potential anti-gastric cancer activity through suppression of the STAT3 and AKT signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo, which was validated by molecular docking. Overall, our results indicate the potential of H1 as a potent chemotherapeutic drug against gastric cancer.

The limited excitation efficiency of quantum dots in the detection of subsurface defects in optical elements by quantum dot fluorescence gives rise to insufficient accuracy. To enhance the excitation efficiency of quantum dots, we studied the modulation of the polarization direction of linearly polarized incident light on quantum dot fluorescence. We first apply density matrix evolution theory to study the quantum dots interacting with linearly polarized incident light and emitting fluorescence. The fluorescence intensity exhibits cosine oscillations versus modulated laser polarization. It reaches a maximum value at the polarization angle zero, and then decreases as the angle becomes larger until π/2. The experimental results for the quantum dot in both solutions and subsurface defect of optical elements confirmed these results. For optical elements tagged with CdSe/ZnS quantum dots, the fluorescence intensity increases by 61.7%, and the area for the detected subsurface defects increases by 142.9%. Similarly, for C and InP/ZnS quantum dots, there are also increases in both the fluorescence intensity and the area of subsurface defects. Our study suggests that the subsurface defect detection in optical elements by the linearly polarized incident light could enhance the detection accuracy of subsurface defects in optical elements, and potentially achieve super-resolution imaging of subsurface defects.

The effect and mechanism of Huangqin Qingre Chubi Capsules(HQC) on rheumatoid arthritis(RA) were studied.Seventy male SPF rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, low-(0. 18 g·kg~(-1)), middle-(0. 36 g·kg~(-1)), and high-(0. 72 g·kg~(-1)) dose groups of HQC, methotrexate group(MTX, 0. 75 mg·kg~(-1)), and negative control group(NC group, model +saline). Adjuvant arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes(AA-FLS) were divided into normal group, model group, low-, middle-, and high-dose groups of HQC, and negative control group. RT-qPCR and Western blot were used to detect the m RNA and protein expressions of METTL3, SFRP4, ß-catenin, CCND1, c-Myc, MMP3, and fibronectin. The protein expression of MMP3 and ß-catenin was detected by immunofluorescence. The gene expression level of METTL3 on AA-FLS was knocked down to further examine the expression of each gene. ELISA measured the levels of IL-1ß, IL-6, and IL-8. The results showed that compared with the normal group, rats in the model group found redness and swelling in their limbs and significantly increased joint swelling. Compared with the model group, the joint swelling degree of each treatment group significantly decreased(P<0. 05). The paw retraction threshold and body weight mass index both significantly increased(P<0. 05). METTL3 was highly expressed on AA and negatively correlated with the expression of SFRP4. After treatment, the m RNA and protein expression of METTL3, ß-catenin, CCND1, c-Myc, fibronectin, and MMP3 were significantly decreased on AA-FLS(P< 0. 05). Compared with the model group, knocking down METTL3 resulted in reduced m RNA and protein expression of ß-catenin, CCND1, c-Myc, fibronectin, and MMP3(P< 0. 05). At the same time, the m RNA and protein expressions of ß-catenin, CCND1, c-Myc, fibronectin, and MMP3 in the HQC+METTL3 knockdown group were significantly lower than those in the METTL3 knockdown group(P<0. 05). HQC could reduce the levels of IL-1ß, IL-6, and IL-8 to varying degrees(P<0. 05). The results indicate that HQC has a significant improvement effect on arthritis in AA rats. The expression of METTL3 is significantly increased in synovial tissue and AA-FLS of AA rats, which may be a potential target for the diagnosis and treatment of RA. HQC improves RA through the METTL3-SFRP4/Wnt/ß-catenin signaling pathway and has significant antiinflammatory and anti-rheumatic effects.

Coherent perfect absorption (CPA) or reflection (CPR) are methods to realize the extreme manipulation on an optical field. We propose a scheme to operate a bistable switch with convertible CPA and/or CPR. Generally, CPA and CPR occur with different input-field phases. For example, CPA is realized when two input probe beams are in phase; instead, CPR is achieved when they are out of phase. In this scheme, a CPA state can be converted to a CPR state by an incoherent field although two input fields are in phase. When we use the incoherent field as a switching field, the CPA (CPR) state is treated as the closed (open) state. As a result, the switching efficiency can theoretically reach a maximum value, i.e., η = 1. In addition, the switch can be operated in the linear regime with a weak input field, and in the nonlinear or bistable regime with a strong input field. Moreover, the efficiency of the bistable switch is sensitively dependent on the input-field intensity. It provides a potential application of this work on sensitive optical detecting.

Strain KC 927T was isolated during an investigation of the soil bacteria diversity on Jiaozi Mountain, central Yunnan, Southwest China. The strain was Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped, non-motile, oxidase-negative, catalase-positive and aerobic. Results of 16S rRNA gene alignment and phylogenetic analysis indicated that strain KC 927T was a member of the genus Chryseobacterium and closely related to Chryseobacterium caseinilyticum GCR10T (98.4%), Chryseobacterium piscicola DSM 21068T (98.3â%) and 'Chryseobacterium formosus' CCTCC AB 2015118T (97.9â%). With a genome size of 4 348 708 bp, strain KC 927T had 33.5âmol% DNA G+C content and contained 4012 protein-coding genes and 77 RNA genes. The average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values between strain KC 927T and C. caseinilyticum GCR10T, C. piscicola DSM 21068T and 'C. formosus' CCTCC AB 2015118T were 80.1, 79.6 and 90.7â%, and 25.5, 23.6 and 42.0â%, respectively. The main polar lipid of strain KC 927T was phosphatidylethanolamine and the respiratory quinone was MK-6. The major fatty acids (≥10â%) were iso-C15â:â0, iso-C17â:â1 ω9c and iso-C17â:â0 3-OH. Evidence from phenotypic, phylogenetic and chemotaxonomic analyses support that strain KC 927T represents a new species of the genus Chryseobacterium, for which the name Chryseobacterium luquanense sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is KC 927T (=CGMCC 1.18760T=JCM 35707T).

BACKGROUND: Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) leads to high plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels and early cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. We treated a pair of siblings with FH. The cardiovascular manifestations in the proband were more severe than those in his elder sister, although they had almost similar LDL-C levels, ages, and lifestyles. Herein, we report the cases of this family to explore the possible causes of clinical phenotypic differences within the same genetic background. CASE PRESENTATION: We treated a 27-year-old male patient and his 30-year-old sister, both with FH. The coronary angiogram in the male patient revealed 80, 70, and 100% stenosis of the initial, distal right coronary artery branch, and left anterior descending branch, respectively, whereas his sister had almost no coronary stenosis. We treated them accordingly and performed family screening. We found that the LDL-C/particle discordance of the proband is much greater than that of his elder sister. In addition, the average size of LDL-C particle in the proband was smaller than that in his sister. CONCLUSIONS: Patients with FH have a much higher risk of premature atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, but the clinical manifestations are heterogeneous. The smaller LDL particle size may be the underlying cause for different clinical outcomes in this pair of FH cases and be a potential novel indicator for predicting the prognosis of FH.

BACKGROUND: To investigate the association of HMGCR and NPC1L1 gene polymorphisms with residual cholesterol risk (RCR) in patients with premature triple-vessel disease (PTVD). METHODS: Three SNPs within HMGCR including rs12916, rs2303151, and rs4629571, and four SNPs within NPC1L1 including rs11763759, rs4720470, rs2072183, and rs2073547 were genotyped. RCR was defined as achieved low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) concentrations after statins higher than 1.8 mmol/L (70 mg/dL). RESULTS: Finally, a total of 609 PTVD patients treated with moderate-intensity statins were included who were divided into two groups: non-RCR group (n = 88) and RCR group (n = 521) according to LDL-C concentrations. Multivariate logistic regression showed the homozygotes for the minor allele of rs12916 within HMGCR gene (CC) were associated with a 2.08 times higher risk of RCR in recessive model [odds ratio (OR): 2.08, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.16-3.75]. In codominant model, the individuals homozygous for the minor allele of rs12916 (CC) were associated with a 2.26 times higher risk of RCR (OR: 2.26, 95% CI: 1.16-4.43) while the heterozygous individuals (CT) were not, compared with the individuals homozygous for the major allele of rs12916 (TT). There was no significant association between the SNPs within NPC1L1 gene and RCR in various models. CONCLUSIONS: We first reported that the variant homozygous CC of rs12916 within HMGCR gene may incur a significantly higher risk of RCR in PTVD patients treated with statins, providing new insights into early individualized guidance of precise lipid-lowering treatment.

Biosurfactants from Pseudomonas spp. have been reported to exhibit antibacterial and anti-adhesive properties, but their role during meat spoilage remains unclear. In this study, the biosurfactant was isolated from an isolate of Pseudomonas fragi with strong spoilage potential, and its surface tension and emulsification ability were determined. The chemical and microbial characteristics of the biosurfactant-treated meat samples were periodically analyzed. The results demonstrated that the biosurfactant produced by P. fragi could reduce surface tension and showed good emulsification properties. For the in situ spoilage trials, biosurfactant from P. fragi changed the microbial diversity on meat, helping Pseudomonas establish a dominant position in the population. However, biosurfactant treatment caused chicken meat to exhibit a weaker spoilage state, as indicated by the growth of psychrophilic microorganisms, total volatile basic nitrogen (TVBN) and meat color. These results provide practical information for understanding the role of P. fragi biosurfactant during chilled meat storage.

BACKGROUND: Based on susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) visibility, deep medullary vein (DMV) scores are related to white matter damage (WMD) in patients with cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). However, whether mechanisms are associated with DMV changes is unclear. We examined extracellular fluid (ECF) roles in white matter associations between DMV scores and white matter integrity (WMI) in patients with CSVD. METHODS: We examined magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinical data from 140 patients with CSVD. DMV scores (0-18) were assigned on SWI according to DMV anatomic regions and signal continuity/visibility. WMI and ECF volumes were evaluated using free water (FW) and fractional anisotropy (FA) values by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). RESULTS: DMV scores were independently associated with FA after adjusting for vascular risk factors, age, white matter hyperintensity (WMH) volume, and CSVD burden [ß (95% confidence interval (CI)): -0.219 (-0.375, -0.061), p = 0.006]. We also observed a significant indirect effect of DMV scores on FA in white matter (mediated by FW in white matter) after controlling for age, vascular risk factors, WMH volume, and CSVD burden. CONCLUSIONS: DMV scores were independently related to WMI and mediated by ECF in the white matter of patients with CSVD.

A novel actinobacterium, designated KC 17012T, was isolated from lead zinc tailings collected from Lanping, Yunnan, PR China. Comparative 16S rRNA gene sequencing showed that KC 17012T belonged to the genus Streptomyces and was most closely related to the type strains of Streptomyces neyagawaensis (98.34%), Streptomyces panaciradicis (98.34%) and Streptomyces heilongjiangensis (98.27%). Phylogenetic tree analysis revealed strain KC 17012T formed a distinct clade. The genome size was 8.64 Mbp with a DNA G+C content of 70.8%. Digital DNA-DNA hybridization and average nucleotide identity values between the genome sequence of strain KC 17012T and those of S. neyagawaensis JCM 4796T (25.3 and 81.5â%) and S. panaciradicis NBRC 109811T (30.1 and 85.7â%) were below the thresholds of 70 and 96% for prokaryotic conspecific assignation. The strain formed long straight aerial hyphae which generated regular short rod spores with spiny surfaces. Growth occurred at 10-45 °C, pH 6-8 and with 0-9â% NaCl (w/v). Strain KC 17012T contained ll-diaminopimelic acid and the major whole-cell hydrolysates included glucose, mannose and ribose. The menaquinones were MK-9(H4), MK-9(H6) and MK-9(H8). The major cellular fatty acids were iso-C15â:â0, anteiso-C15â:â0, iso-C16â:â0 and anteiso-C17â:â0. The polar lipid profile consisted of diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylinositol mannoside, one unidentified lipid and one unidentified phospholipid. On the basis of the results of a polyphasic taxonomic study, it is concluded that KC 17012T represents a novel species of the genus Streptomyces, for which the name Streptomyces plumbidurans sp. nov., is proposed. The type strain is KC 17012T (CGMCC 4.7704T=JCM 35204T).

An isolate of Gram-stain-negative and strictly aerobic bacterium, designated KC 17139T, was isolated from Jiaozi Mountain sample in Yunnan, China. Cells were non-motile cocci to oval, catalase-positive and oxidase-positive. Growth occurred at 0-7% NaCl (w/v; optimum, 0%), pH 6.0-8.0 (optimum, pH 7.0) and 15-45 °C (optimum, 28-37 °C). The polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylglycerol (PG), phosphatidylcholine (PC) and four unidentified aminolipids (UALs). Strain KC 17139T contained summed feature 8 (comprising C18:1 ω7c and/or C18:1 ω6c), C18:1 2OH and C16:0 as major cellular fatty acids (> 5%) and ubiquinone-10 as the sole isoprenoid quinone. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that strain KC 17139T shared highest similarities with Siccirubricoccus phaeus 1-3T (96.7%) and Siccirubricoccus deserti SYSU D8009T (95.0%). Strain KC 17139T clustered with the two Siccirubricoccus type strains, but formed a separate branch in both 16S rRNA gene and genome-scale phylogenetic dendrograms. The genomic DNA G + C content of strain KC 17139T was 71.2%. Genomic comparisons between strain KC 17139T and its close relatives showed the highest digital DNA-DNA hybridisation to S. phaeus (35.5%), highest average nucleotide identity to S. phaeus (88.2%), indicating that strain KC 17139T represents a novel species. On the basis of results of phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and molecular analysis, we report a new bacterium strain KC 17139T belonged to genus Siccirubricoccus, for which the name Siccirubricoccus soli sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is KC 17139T (= CGMCC 1.18756T = JCM 35132T).

Verticillium wilt is threatening the world's cotton production. The pathogenic fungus Verticillium dahliae can survive in the soil in the form of microsclerotia for a long time, colonize through the root of cotton, and invade into vascular bundles, causing yellowing and wilting of cotton leaves, and in serious cases, leading to plant death. Breeding resistant varieties is the most economical and effective method to control Verticillium wilt. In previous studies, proteomic analysis was carried out on different cotton varieties inoculated with V. dahliae strain Vd080. It was found that GhRPS6 was phosphorylated after inoculation, and the phosphorylation level in resistant cultivars was 1.5 times than that in susceptible cultivars. In this study, knockdown of GhRPS6 expression results in the reduction of SA and JA content, and suppresses a series of defensive response, enhancing cotton plants susceptibility to V. dahliae. Overexpression in Arabidopsis thaliana transgenic plants was found to be more resistant to V. dahliae. Further, serines at 237 and 240 were mutated to phenylalanine, respectively and jointly. The transgenic Arabidopsis plants demonstrated that seri-237 compromised the plant resistance to V. dahliae. Subcellular localization in Nicotiana benthamiana showed that GhRPS6 was localized in the nucleus. Additionally, the pathogen inoculation and phosphorylation site mutation did not change its localization. These results indicate that GhRPS6 is a potential molecular target for improving resistance to Verticillium wilt in cotton. This lays a foundation for breeding disease-resistant varieties.

Second-order topological superconductors host Majorana corner and hinge modes in contrast to conventional edge and surface modes in two and three dimensions. However, the realization of such second-order corner modes usually demands unconventional superconducting pairing or complicated junctions or layered structures. Here we show that Majorana corner modes could be realized using a 2D quantum spin Hall insulator in proximity contact with an s-wave superconductor and subject to an in-plane Zeeman field. Beyond a critical value, the in-plane Zeeman field induces opposite effective Dirac masses between adjacent boundaries, leading to one Majorana mode at each corner. A similar paradigm also applies to 3D topological insulators with the emergence of Majorana hinge states. Avoiding complex superconductor pairing and material structure, our scheme provides an experimentally realistic platform for implementing Majorana corner and hinge states.

A multi-direction bending sensor based on the 18-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) is demonstrated in this paper. The design of the sensor is discussed theoretically and experimentally. The PCF serves as the laser gain medium and the sensing medium simultaneously in the fiber laser sensor. The operating wavelength of the proposed PCF laser sensor is about 1032.32â nm. A CMOS image capture system is used to acquire the distribution of supermodes in the PCF laser. Based on the normalized intensity distribution of supermodes, six directions can be measured. The sensor also shows the ability to measure bending radius within 0.11 m. Then, the thermal effects of the bending sensor have been analyzed and the sensing system shows a low temperature crosstalk.

BACKGROUND: Different levels of telemedicine systems have been built across China. To share high-quality medical resources and conduct centralized management of telemedicine systems, a regional telemedicine system (RTS) (such as a provincial level system) has been developed to integrate with small-scale telemedicine systems. Although the established systems offer integration services, they are tightly coupled systems, and not easily integrated with new systems. Meanwhile, with the increasing of input/output, it is difficult for them to run with high scalability, considering the cost of architecture redesign and further development. This article presents the design and implementation of regional integration system through a study in Henan, China, mainly aimed to integrate with heterogeneous small-scale telemedicine systems and provide high efficiency. METHODS: A provincial telemedicine system and some city-level telemedicine systems have already been established. The provincial system has been built to act as a regional integration system to connect city-level systems. Adopting message-based technology, the provincial system achieves high availability and high scalability, respectively, through LevelDB + ZooKeeper and multicast. RESULTS: The system achieved the centralized management of established telemedicine systems without restructuring their framework, improving high availability of RTS when one ActiveMQ service node in a group failed, and it did not negatively influence normal business logic when adding a new service node. At the same time, two "Master" state ActiveMQ service nodes provided services simultaneously, which enable the RTS to achieve high scalability. CONCLUSIONS: The message-based regional integration system enriched the RTS with high availability, easy extensibility, and provided a convenient way to integrate new small-scale telemedicine systems.

OBJECTIVE: To identify the casual mutation of a Chinese pedigree with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), and to analyze the genotype-phenotype relationship. METHODS: The coding exons of 26 reported disease genes were sequenced by targeted resequencing in the proband and the identified mutation were detected with bi-directional Sanger sequencing in all family members and 307 healthy controls. The genotype-phenotype correlation was analyzed in the family. RESULTS: A missense mutation (c.2191C > T, p. Pro731Ser) in the 20th exon of MYH7 gene was identified. This mutation was absent in 307 healthy controls and predicted to be pathogenic by PolyPhen-HCM. Totally 13 family members carried this mutation, including 10 patients with HCM and 3 asymptomatic mutation carriers. The proband manifested severe congestive heart failure and 8 patients expressed various clinical manifestations of heart failure, including dyspnea, palpitations, chest pain, amaurosis or syncope. Five patients were diagnosed as HCM at the age of 16 or younger. One family member suffered sudden cardiac death. CONCLUSIONS: The Pro731Ser of MYH7 gene mutation is a causal and malignant mutation linked with familiar HCM.

The correlated spinful Haldane model exhibits rich topological phases consisting of chiral topological superfluids (TSFs) and topological spin density waves. However, most of previous studies mainly focus on the case with the fixed hopping phase or at zero temperature. In this paper, we study the attractive spinful Haldane model with arbitrary phase at finite temperature. The chiral TSFs with Chern numberC = 2 and 4 emerge driven by the phase and temperature. In particular, the temperature can drive aC = 2 topological superfluid from a trivial normal insulator phase at an appropriate interaction. The bulk topology of all TSFs is uncovered by the Wilson loop method, and confirmed by the responses of edge dislocations.
