RESUMEN

It is urgent to pursue appropriate gate photoactive materials for gate-to-channel signal modulation to achieve superior transconductance performances of organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) sensors. Notably, a hole transfer layer (HTL) participant CdZnS/sulfur-doped Ti3C2 MXene (S-MXene) gate was designed and developed in this work, which exhibited a remarkable signal modulation performance by up to 3 orders of magnitude. Because of the incorporation of S-MXene with an enhanced electrical conductivity as the effective HTL, the signal modulation capabilities of the CdZnS/S-MXene photoactive gate were superior to those of CdZnS and CdZnS/MXene. This incorporation inhibited the recombination of the interfacial charge and facilitated the transfer of photogenerated holes, thus enhancing the photoelectric conversion performance. This enhancement facilitated fast electron transfer with a larger effective photovoltage to augment the dedoping ability of channel ions. Based on these findings, an aptasensing platform that exhibited good performance was constructed using the proposed OPECT device, with ofloxacin as a model target and an aptamer for specific recognition. The developed OPECT aptasensor had various advantages, including a high sensitivity, good linear range (1.0 × 10-13 to 1.0 × 10-6 M), and low limit of detection (3.3 × 10-15 M). This study provided a proof-of-concept for the generalized development of HTL participant gates for OPECT sensors and other related applications.

BACKGROUND: Achyranthes bidentata (AR) is a traditional Chinese herb used for the treatment of hypertension and cerebral ischemia, but its pharmacological effects are not known. AIM OF STUDY: We aimed to detect and accurately identify the components and metabolites of AR in the plasma and brain tissue of Sprague Dawley rats. METHODS: We employed ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HR-MS) to detect AR components in the plasma and brain tissue of rats. The absorption and metabolites in the plasma and brain tissue of normal control rats and rats that underwent middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) were characterized and compared. RESULTS: A total of 281 compounds, including alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, phenylpropanes, sugars and glycosides, steroids, triterpenes, amino acids, and peptides, was identified in samples of Achyranthes bidentata (TCM-AR). Four types of absorbable prototype components and 48 kinds of metabolites were identified in rats in the normal control plasma group which were given AR (AR plasma group), and five kinds of metabolites were identified in rats of the normal control brain tissue group which were given AR (AR brain group). Three absorbed prototype components and 13 metabolites were identified in the plasma of rats which underwent MCAO and were given AR (MCAO + AR plasma group). Six absorbed prototype components and two metabolites were identified in the brain tissue of rats who underwent MCAO and were administered AR (MCAO + AR brain group). These results showed that, after the oral administration of AR, the number of identified components in plasma was more than that in brain tissue. The number of prototype components in the AR plasma group was higher than that in the MCAO + AR plasma group, which may indicate that metabolite absorption in rats undergoing MCAO was worse. The number of prototype components in the MCAO + AR brain group was higher than that in the AR brain group, indicating that the blood-brain barrier was destroyed after MCAO, resulting in more compounds entering brain tissue. CONCLUSIONS: UHPLC-HR-MS was used to rapidly analyze the components and metabolites of AR in the blood and brain of rats under normal and pathologic conditions, and to comprehensively characterize the components of TCM-AR. We also analyzed and compared the absorbable components and metabolites of normal rats under cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury to explore the potential mechanism of action. This method could be applied to various Chinese herbs and disease models, which could promote TCM modernization.

BACKGROUND & AIMS: Many studies have assessed risk factors of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other abdominal pain-related disorders of gut-brain interaction (AP-DGBI); however, the role of these factors is unclear due to heterogeneous study designs. The aim of this systematic review was to extensively evaluate the literature and determine clinical risk and protective factors for the presence and persistence of AP-DGBI in children and adults. METHODS: A PubMed search identified studies investigating potential risk and protective factors for AP-DGBI in adults and children. Inclusion criteria included fully published studies with a control group; exclusion criteria included poor-quality studies (using a validated scale). For each factor, the proportion of studies that found the factor to be a risk factor, protective factor, or neither was summarized. The number of studies, diagnostic criteria, number of subjects, and average study quality rating provided further context. Whenever possible, a meta-analysis generated pooled odds ratios or mean difference. RESULTS: The systematic review included 348 studies. Female sex, gastroenteritis, abuse, stress, psychological disorders, somatic symptoms, and poor sleep were consistent risk factors for developing AP-DGBI in adults and children. In adults, additional risk factors included obesity, smoking, and increased use of medical resources. Protective AP-DGBI factors in adults included social support and optimism; no studies for protective factors were found for children. CONCLUSIONS: There are multiple risk factors for AP-DGBI in adults and children. These include female sex, gastroenteritis, abuse, stress, poor sleep, obesity, psychological disorders, and somatic symptoms. Additional studies are needed in children, on protective factors, and on factors associated with persistence of AP-DGBI.

Exploiting ingenious photoelectrodes and innovative signal amplification strategies has the potential to achieve high sensitivity in self-powered cathodic photoelectrochemical (PEC) analysis. In this work, a novel self-powered PEC sensing platform was constructed by integrating a synergistic signal amplification of an ingenious photocathode with a high light-harvesting photoanode. In the dual photoelectrode-based PEC system, the amplified photocurrent signals were induced by a synergistic enhancement: (1) the photocurrent of the BiOBr photocathode was improved by the incorporation of nitrogen-doped graphene; (2) the photocurrent of the self-powered sensor was activated by the high-light-harvesting Bi2S3-C3N4 photoanode. Subsequently, the rational mechanism for synergistic signal amplification was investigated. For the construction of the sensing interface, an aptamer was introduced as the recognition element to specifically capture the streptomycin (STR) target. Under optimal conditions, the constructed self-powered aptasensor has the merits of good linear range (1 × 10-11 to 5 × 10-7 M), acceptable limit of detection (1.18 × 10-12 M), and excellent stability and selectivity for STR detection. Additionally, the proposed self-powered aptasensor showed acceptable accuracy for the detection of STR in water. Hopefully, this might stimulate more interest in designing and constructing novel platforms for exquisite photocathodic monitoring of various contaminants in the environment.

INTRODUCTION: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder of gut-brain interaction, characterized by symptoms of abdominal pain and changes in bowel habits. It often co-occurs with extraintestinal somatic and psychological symptoms. However, the nature of the interrelationships among these symptoms is unclear. Although previous studies have noted age differences in IBS prevalence and specific symptom severity, it remains unknown whether specific symptoms and symptom relationships may differ by age. METHODS: Symptom data were collected in 355 adults with IBS (mean age 41.4 years, 86.2% female). Network analysis was used to examine the interrelationships among 28 symptoms and to identify the core symptoms driving the symptom structure between young (≤45 years) vs older (>45 years) adults with IBS. We evaluated 3 network properties between the 2 age groups: network structure, edge (connection) strength, and global strength. RESULTS: In both age groups, fatigue was the top core symptom. Anxiety was a second core symptom in the younger age group, but not the older age group. Intestinal gas and/or bloating symptoms also exerted considerable influences in both age groups. The overall symptom structure and connectivity were found to be similar regardless of age. DISCUSSION: Network analysis suggests fatigue is a critical target for symptom management in adults with IBS, regardless of age. Comorbid anxiety is likely an important treatment focus for young adults with IBS. Rome V criteria update could consider the importance of intestinal gas and bloating symptoms. Additional replication with larger diverse IBS cohorts is warranted to verify our results.

Transient receptor potential canonical (TRPC) channels, as important membrane proteins regulating intracellular calcium (Ca2+i) signaling, are involved in a variety of physiological and pathological processes. Activation and regulation of TRPC are more dependent on membrane or intracellular signals. However, how extracellular signals regulate TRPC6 function remains to be further investigated. Here, we suggest that two distinct small molecules, M085 and GSK1702934A, directly activate TRPC6, both through a mechanism of stimulation of extracellular sites formed by the pore helix (PH) and transmembrane (TM) helix S6. In silico docking scanning of TRPC6 identified three extracellular sites that can bind small molecules, of which only mutations on residues of PH and S6 helix significantly reduced the apparent affinity of M085 and GSK1702934A and attenuated the maximal response of TRPC6 to these two chemicals by altering channel gating of TRPC6. Combing metadynamics, molecular dynamics simulations, and mutagenesis, we revealed that W679, E671, E672, and K675 in the PH and N701 and Y704 in the S6 helix constitute an orthosteric site for the recognition of these two agonists. The importance of this site was further confirmed by covalent modification of amino acid residing at the interface of the PH and S6 helix. Given that three structurally distinct agonists M085, GSK1702934A, and AM-0883, act at this site, as well as the occupancy of lipid molecules at this position found in other TRP subfamilies, it is suggested that the cavity formed by the PH and S6 has an important role in the regulation of TRP channel function by extracellular signals.

The ability of animals to perceive guidance cues from Earth's magnetic field for orientation and navigation has been supported by a wealth of behavioral experiments, yet the nature of this sensory modality remains fascinatingly unresolved and wide open for discovery. MagR has been proposed as a putative magnetoreceptor based on its intrinsic magnetism and its complexation with a previously suggested key protein in magnetosensing, cryptochrome, to form a rod-like polymer structure. Here, we report a rationally designed single-chain tetramer of MagR (SctMagR), serving as the building block of the hierarchical assembly of MagR polymer. The magnetic trapping experiment and direct magnetic measurement of SctMagR demonstrated the possibility of magnetization of nonmagnetic cells via overexpressing a single protein, which has great potential in various applications. SctMagR, as reported in this study, serves as a prototype of designed magnetic biomaterials inspired by animal magnetoreception. The features of SctMagR provide insights into the unresolved origin of the intrinsic magnetic moment, which is of considerable interest in both biology and physics. © 2022 Bioelectromagnetics Society.

Superparamagnetic nanoparticles have broad applications in biology and medicines. Quantitative measurements of magnetic beads in solution are essential in gaining comprehensive understanding of their dynamics and developing applications. Here, using synchrotron X-ray sources combined with well controlled magnetic fields, the results from small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments on superparamagnetic particles in solution under the influence of external magnetic fields are reported. The particles mostly remain in monodispersed states and the linear aggregates tend to be aligned with the external magnetic field. After removing the magnetic fields, the superparamagnetic nanoparticles quickly recover to their original states indicating high reversibility of the rearrangement under the control of a magnetic field. The external magnetic field instrument composed of paired permanent magnets is integrated into the SAXS beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility providing a platform for studying time-resolved dynamics induced by magnetic fields.

Health impacts of surface ozone (O3) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) are of major concern worldwide. In this work, the Environmental Benefits Mapping and Analysis Program tool is applied to estimate the health and economic impacts of projected changes in O3 and PM2.5 in the U.S. in future (2046-2055) decade relative to current (2001-2010) decade under the Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 4.5 and 8.5 climate scenarios. Future annual-mean O3 reductions under RCP 4.5 prevent ~1,800 all-cause mortality, 761 respiratory hospital admissions (HA), and ~1.2 million school loss days annually, and result in economic benefits of ~16 billion, 29 million, and 132 million U.S. dollars (USD), respectively. By contrast, the projected future annual-mean O3 increases under RCP8.5 cause ~2,400 mortality, 941 respiratory HA, and ~1.6 million school loss days annually and result in economic disbenefits of ~21 billion, 36 million, and 175 million USD, respectively. Health benefits of reduced O3 double under RCP4.5 and health dis-benefits of increased O3 increase by 1.5 times under RCP8.5 in future with 2050 population and baseline incidence rate. Because of the reduction in projected future PM2.5 over CONUS under both scenarios, the annual avoided all-cause deaths, cardiovascular HA, respiratory HA, and work loss days are ~63,000 and ~83,000, ~5,300 and ~7,000, ~12,000 and ~15,000, and ~7.8 million and ~10 million, respectively, leading to economic benefits of ~560 and ~740 billion, ~240 and ~320 million, ~450 and ~590 million, and ~1,400 and ~1,900 million USD for RCP4.5 and 8.5, respectively. Health benefits of reduced PM2.5 for future almost double under both scenarios with the largest benefits in urban areas. RCP8.5 projects larger health and economic benefits due to a greater reduction in PM2.5 but with a warmer atmosphere and higher O3 pollution than RCP4.5. RCP4.5 leads to multiple-benefit goals including reduced O3 and PM2.5, reduced mortality and morbidity, and saved costs. Greater reduction in future PM2.5 under RCP4.5 should be considered to achieve larger multi-benefits.

A gas chromatographic approach for the determination and quantification of trace levels of carbon oxides in gas phase matrices for in situ or near-line/at-line analysis has been successfully developed. Catalytic conversion of the target compounds to methane via the methanation process was conducted inside a metal 3D-printed jet that also acted as a hydrogen burner for the flame ionization detector. Modifications made to a field transportable gas chromatograph enabled the leveraging of advantaged microfluidic-enhanced chromatography capability for improved chromatographic performance and serviceability. The compatibility with adsorption chromatography technology was demonstrated with in-house constructed columns. Sustained reliable conversion efficiencies of greater than 99% with respectable peak symmetries were attained at 400°C. Quantification of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide at a parts-per-million level over a range from 0.2 ppm to 5% v/v for both compounds with a respectable precision of less than 3% relative standard deviation for peak area (n = 10) and a detection limit of 0.1 ppm v/v was achieved. Linearity with correlation coefficients of R2 greater than 0.9995 and measured recoveries of >99% for spike tests were achieved. The 3D-printed steel jet was found to be reliable and resilient against potential contamination from the matrices owing to the in situ backflushing capability.

A pseudo-comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography approach with size exclusion chromatography in the first dimension and gradient reversed-phase liquid chromatography in the second dimension was successfully developed for the characterization of vinyl acetate/acrylic acid copolymers and vinyl acetate/itaconic acid/acrylic acid terpolymers. Active solvent modulation was exploited to prevent the polymer breakthrough in the second dimension separation caused by the strong solvent used in the first dimension. The conditions of the active solvent modulation valve were optimized to achieve sufficient on-line dilution and to completely prevent polymer breakthrough without adding excessive time to the modulation cycle. Using this approach, copolymers made with different monomer ratios and processes were studied. Heterogeneous composition distribution due to insufficient monomer incorporation was detected in some of the copolymer samples. We demonstrated that with active solvent modulation, the two-dimensional liquid chromatography approach is no longer limited to water-soluble polymers and can be used for a broader range of polymers and copolymers.

A gas chromatographic strategy to advance the direct detection and quantification of volatile aliphatic aldehydes such as formaldehyde and acetaldehyde in gas phase matrices without the need for sample pretreatment or concentration has been successfully developed. The catalytic hydrogenolysis of aldehydes to alkanes is conducted in situ within the 3D-printed steel jet assembly of the flame ionization detector and without any additional hardware required. Reliable conversion efficiencies of greater than 90% with respectable peak symmetries for the analytes were attained at 400 °C. Quantification of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde at parts-per-million levels over a range of 0.5-300 ppm (v/v) for formaldehyde and 0.2-430 ppm (v/v) for acetaldehyde with a respectable precision of less than 5% RSD ( n = 10) was achieved. The total analysis time was less than 10 min. Linearity with a correlation coefficient ( R2) greater than 0.9997 and measured recoveries of >99% for spike tests under the specified conditions were achieved. The 3D-printed steel jet assembly was found to be reliable and resilient to matrices such as air, water, hydrocarbons, and aromatics. An additional benefit realized with this analytical strategy is that the slight restriction induced by the presence of the catalyst in the 3D-printed jet assembly enables backflush via the inlet split vent without the need for additional pressure control or intercolumn-connection devices. The utility of this technique was demonstrated with important aldehyde applications from various segments.

For chronic rhinitis that is refractory to medical therapy, surgical intervention such as endoscopic vidian neurectomy (VN) can be used to control the intractable symptoms. Lasers can contribute to minimizing the invasiveness of ENT surgery. The aim of this retrospective study is to compare in patients who underwent diode laser-assisted versus traditional VN in terms of operative time, surgical field, quality of life, and postoperative complications. All patients had refractory rhinitis with a poor treatment response to a 6-month trial of corticosteroid nasal sprays and underwent endoscopic VN between November 2006 and September 2015. They were non-randomly allocated into either a cold instrument group or a diode laser-assisted group. Vidian nerve was excised with a 940-nm continuous wave diode laser through a 600-µm silica optical fiber, utilizing a contact mode with the power set at 5 W. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used to grade the severity of the rhinitis symptoms for quality of life assessment before the surgery and 6 months after. Of the 118 patients enrolled in the study, 75 patients underwent cold instrument VN and 43 patients underwent diode laser-assisted VN. Patients in the laser-assisted group had a significantly lower surgical field score and a lower postoperative bleeding rate than those in the cold instrument group. Changes in the VAS were significant in preoperative and postoperative nasal symptoms in each group. The application of diode lasers for vidian nerve transection showed a better surgical field and a lower incidence of postoperative hemorrhage. Recent advancements in laser application and endoscopic technique has made VN safer and more effective. We recommend this surgical approach as a reliable and effective treatment for patients with refractory rhinitis.

Endoscopic septoplasty has become the favored approach for the treatment of a deviated septum. Careful septal dissection results in less bleeding, clear endoscopic view, shortened operative time, and fewer postoperative complications. We describe our 5-year experience of using an 8 French Frazier suction tube for submucosal dissection compared with the traditional septoplasty. A total of 434 patients who underwent septoplasty were recruited. The patients in the study were divided into two Groups 1 and 2 based on the employed surgical techniques to treat deviated nasal septum: traditional septoplasty (Group 1: 105 patients) and suction-tube-assisted endoscopic septoplasty (Group 2: 329 patients). All the patients were followed up for a minimum of 6 months. No statistically significant differences could be traced between the groups in any demographic factor, regarding the gender, age, and the intraoperative and postoperative complications. A significantly shorter operative time was found in Group 2 (P < 0.001). The overall incidence of minor complications was 6.6% in Group 1 and 4.6% in Group 2. The suction-tube-assisted dissection technique is found to be a surgical alternative, effective with a significantly shorter operating time, and economical option in septal surgery.

IKKε is an IKK-related kinase implicated in antiviral immune response in higher vertebrates. To elucidate the function of IKKε in teleost fish, grass carp IKKε (gcIKKε) has been cloned and characterized in this paper. The full-length cDNA of gcIKKε is composed of 2529 nucleotides and encodes a polypeptide of 723 amino acids. The mRNA transcription of gcIKKε was constitutively detected in all the selected tissues and the gcIKKε mRNA level increased at 36 h after GCRV infection. Western blot data of both HEK293T cells and EPC cells demonstrated that gcIKKε was around 80 KDa; and immunofluorescence staining data of both NIH3T3 cells and EPC cells determined gcIKKε was a cytosolic protein. The mRNA level of gcIKKε in CIK cells was increased more than 150 times right after poly(I:C) treatment and PMA treatment triggered gcIKKε mRNA transcription in CIK cells more than 100 times. Over-expression of gcIKKε in EPC cells activated the promoter activity of both zebrafish IFN and fathead minnow IFN. gcIKKε mRNA transcription level in CIK cells was increased from 48 h post GCRV infection with different MOIs. All the data support the idea that gcIKKε is a novel teleost IκB kinase recruited in the IFN-mediated antiviral immunity of grass carp.

IKKε is an IκB kinase functioning in NF-κB signal pathway in the innate immune system of higher vertebrates. To exploit the function of IKKε of black carp (bcIKKε) in its antiviral innate immunity, the IKKε gene has been cloned from the RNA isolated from the spleen of black carp. The full-length cDNA of bcIKKε is 2537 bp, which encodes the peptide of 723 amino acids. bcIKKε contains a S-Tkc domain, a PKc domain and a UBL-TBK1-like domain and bcIKKε shares the highest amino acid sequence similarity with that of grass carp. bcIKKε was constitutively transcribed in the selected tissues of black carp including gill, kidney, heart, intestine, liver, muscle, skin and spleen; and the mRNA level of bcIKKε in these tissues varied right after SVCV or GCRV infection. bcIKKε had been well expressed in HEK293T cells and western blot assay determined that this fish kinase was around 80 KDa. The immunofluorescence assay of both NH3T3 cells and EPC cells demonstrated that bcIKKε was located in the cytosolic part of the cell. Report assay result showed that overexpression of bcIKKε in EPC cells activated the expression of both zebrafish IFN and EPC IFN. All our data suggest that bcIKKε is a novel fish kinase functioning in the innate antiviral immune response of black carp.

Organic acids with very low pKa require extremely low pH conditions to achieve adequate retention in reversed-phase liquid chromatography, but an extremely low pH mobile phase can cause instrument reliability problems and limit the choice of columns. Hydrophilic interaction chromatography is a potential alternative to reversed-phase liquid chromatography for the separation of organic acids using more moderate conditions. However, the hydrophilic interaction chromatography separation mechanism is known to be very complex and involves multiple competing mechanisms. In the present study, a hydrophilic interaction chromatography column packed with bare silica core-shell particles was used as the separation column and six agricultural organic acids were used as model analytes to evaluate the effects of buffer concentration, buffer pH, and temperature on sample loading capacity, selectivity, retention, and repeatability. It was found that using a higher concentration of buffer can lead to a significant improvement in the overall performance and reproducibility of the separation. Investigation of column equilibration time revealed that a very long equilibration time is needed when changing mobile phase conditions in between runs. This limitation needs to be acknowledged in hydrophilic interaction chromatography method development and sufficient equilibration time needs to be allowed in method scouting.

RESUMEN

Revolutionary developments in analytical chemistry have led to the rapid development of self-powered photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensors. Different from conventional PEC sensors, self-powered PEC sensors do not require an external power source or complex devices for the sensitive detection of targets. As a result, these sensors have enormous application potential for the development of novel portable sensors. An increasing body of work is making excellent progress toward the implementation of self-powered PEC sensors for detection, but there have been no reviews to date. The present review first introduces the state of the art in the development of self-powered PEC sensors. Then, different types of self-powered PEC sensors are summarized and discussed in detail, including their current, power, and potential. Additionally, single- and dual-photoelectrode systems are classified and systematically compared. Finally, the current developments and major challenges that need to be addressed are also summarized. This review provides valuable insights into the current state of self-powered PEC sensors to promote further progress in this field.

A series of novel dibutyltin complexes based on salen-like ligands (S01-S03) were synthesized and characterized using ultraviolet-visible spectra,infrared spectra, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn nuclear magnetic resonance, high-resolution mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography, and thermogravimetric analysis. Complex S03 had excellent anticancer activity in vitro (IC50 = 1.5 ± 0.2 µM in CAL-27 cell lines), which highly activated ROS expression levels and induced apoptosis and cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase. Interestingly, complex S03 induced cancer cell death through multiple mechanisms (mitochondrial pathway, ER-stress pathway, and DNA damage pathway). This study reveals new mechanisms of organotin complexes and provides new insights into the development of organotin metal complexes as anticancer drugs in the future, and compounds with multiple anticancer mechanisms may be a new strategy for delaying or overcoming drug resistance to chemotherapy and target therapy.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the preliminary clinical effect of closed reduction and cannulated nail internal fixation for femoral neck fracture assisted by robot navigation and positioning system. METHODS: From July 2019 to January 2020, 16 cases of femoral neck fracture (navigation group) were treated with closed reduction and internal fixation guided by robot system, including 7 males and 9 females, aged 25 to 72 years old with an average of (53.61±5.45) years old;Garden classification of fracture:3 cases of typeⅠ, 3 cases of typeⅡ, 8 cases of type Ⅲ, 2 cases of type Ⅳ. Non navigation group (control group):20 cases of femoral neck fracture were treated with closed reduction and hollow nail internal fixation, 8 males and 12 females, aged 46 to 70 years old with an average of (55.23±4.64) years old;Garden typeⅠin 2 cases, typeⅡin 4 cases, type Ⅲ in 11 cases, type Ⅳ in 3 cases. The operation time, fluoroscopy times, guide needle drilling times, screw adjustment times, intraoperative bleeding volume and other indicators of two groups were evaluated. RESULTS: Both groups were followed up for 12 to 18 months with an average of (15.6±2.8) months. The fractures of both groups were healed without delayed union and nonunion. There was no significant difference in healing time between two groups(P=0.782). There was no significant difference in Harris scores between two groups at the last follow-up(P=0.813). There was no significant difference in operation time between two groups(P>0.05). There were significant differences between two groups in fluoroscopy times, guide needle drilling times, hollow screw replacement times, and intraoperative bleeding volume(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Closed reduction and hollow screw internal fixation assisted by robot navigation system for femoral neck fracture has the advantages of minimally invasive operation, precise screw placement, and reduction of X-ray radiation damage during operation.
