RESUMEN

For the first time, an eco-friendly and sustainable tandem [5C + 1C] cycloaromatization of α-alkenoyl ketene dithioacetals and nitroethane in water for the efficient synthesis of ortho-acylphenols was reported. In refluxing water, a range of α-alkenoyl ketene dithioacetals and nitroethane smoothly underwent tandem Michael addition/cyclization/aromatization reactions in the presence of 2.0 equivalents of DBU to provide various ortho-acylphenols in excellent yields. The green approach to ortho-acylphenols not only avoided the use of harmful organic solvents, which could result in serious environmental and safety issues, but also exhibited fascinating features such as good substrate scope, excellent yields, simple purification for desired products, ease of scale-up, and reusable aqueous medium.

RESUMEN

Mefentrifluconazole is the first product of a new sub-class of triazoles fungicides, i.e., the isopropanol triazoles, with the broad spectrum and high activity. In this study, the potential and biochemical activities of mefentrifluconazole against Botrytis cinerea were investigated. The frequency distribution of all EC50 values of mefentrifluconazole against mycelial growth and germ tube elongation of 106 isolates formed unimodal curve, with the mean EC50 values of 0.124 ± 0.025 and 0.015 ± 0.008 µg/mL, respectively. The effect of mefentrifluconazole against gray mold was determined on detached leaves of cucumber in vivo, the treatment of mefentrifluconazole at 200 µg/mL provided 100% preventative efficacy and 72.7% curative efficacy. No evident correlation was detected between the sensitivity of B. cinerea to mefentrifluconazole and that to tebuconazole, difenoconazole, myclobutanil, hexaconazole, triadimefon, flusilazole and pyrisoxazole (P > 0.05). Mefentrifluconazole treatment resulted in the increase of mycelium branch, the decrease of ergosterol content and the changes of the permeability of cell membrane. These studies evaluated the potential of mefentrifluconazole to control gray mold and helped us to understand the possible biochemical activity of mefentrifluconazole against B.cinerea.

RESUMEN

A series of room temperature phosphorescent doping systems were constructed. Benzothiazole groups containing heteroatoms (S, N) and heavy atoms (Br) were applied as the host. Their charge-transfered luminescence mechanism was revealed by molecular dynamics simulations and molecular cluster calculations. Additionally, BCN/BT's excellent anti-counterfeiting performance demonstrated their application potential.

RESUMEN

Cyfluthrin is a widely used pesticide. In this study, a sensitive and efficient magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (MMIP) was prepared by surface molecular imprinting, which used functionalized Fe3O4 particles as magnetic cores. Cyfluthrin was extracted and enriched using magnetic molecularly polymer for analyzing pesticide residue of Chinese herbal medicines. The crystal type, microstructure, particle size, saturation magnetization, and characteristic functional groups of the synthesized MMIPs were analyzed by analysis equipment. The results of isothermal adsorption and kinetic adsorption indicated that MMIPs reached adsorption equilibrium at 30 min, with a maximum capacity of 4.9 mg g-1, which had good adsorption performance, while selective adsorption experiments showed that MMIPs had higher affinity for cyfluthrin. Under the optimized conditions, the limit of detection (LOD) and the limit of quantification (LOQ) were 32.987 ng ml-1 and 109.955 ng ml-1, respectively. And linear range (30-3000ng ml-1) of cyfluthrin with correlation coefficient R2=0.9979, and MMIPs were used in honeysuckle, the recoveries were 91.5%∼97.2%, and RSD was 5.35%∼8.32% (n = 3). It is indicated that the magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer can be used as an effective material for the specific separation of cyfluthrin from honeysuckle.

RESUMEN

In this study, a novel magnetic solid phase extraction adsorbent was prepared, namely Fe3O4@SiO2 as the carrier, quercetin as the template molecule, acrylamide (AM) as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylamide (EGDMA) as the crosslinker, 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as the initiator to prepare magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer (MMIPs) with specific adsorption of quercetin by surface molecular imprinting technique. MMIPs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The binding properties of MMIPs were evaluated by isothermal adsorption, kinetic adsorption and selective adsorption experiments. The results showed that the saturated adsorption capacity and adsorption time were 17.9 µmol/g and 20 min, respectively, and showed high selectivity for quercetin. Under optimized conditions, the limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) were 55.327 ng/mL and 184.413 ng/mL, respectively. The recovery and RSD were 85.34-95.67% and 3.36-6.59, respectively. We successfully combined magnetic solid phase extraction with high performance liquid chromatography (MSPE-HPLC-UV) for the enrichment, separation and detection of quercetin in rat plasma. The results showed that the peak and half-life of quercetin in plasma were 1.5 h (32.310 µg/mL) and 3 h, respectively. The method was simple, rapid and efficient, and could be applied to the separation and detection of quercetin in complex matrices, and also provides a basis for the separation and identification of other natural chemical components.

RESUMEN

ORMDL sphingolipid biosynthesis regulator 3 (ORMDL3) has been previously implicated in asthma pathogenesis, its effect on airway remodeling remains to be elucidated. The present study examined the expression levels of ORMDL3 in a mouse model of asthma. Mice were divided into three groups: Asthmatic model (n=10), budesonidetreated (n=10) and a control group (n=8). Asthma was induced by sensitization with ovalbumin (OVA) and aluminum hydroxide on day 1, 7 and 14. Subsequently mice were exposed to OVA three times per week from day 28. In order to investigate the mechanism of airway remodeling 100 µg/kg aerosol budesonide was administered to 6 animals prior to exposure to OVA. The condition of lung tissues was assessed through histology, and the expression levels of ORMDL3, phosphorylatedextracellularsignal regulated kinase (pERK) and matrix metallopeptidase9 (MMP9) were quantified using immunohistochemistry, reverse transcriptionquantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blotting. A severe inflammatory response and airway remodeling were pretreatment with budesonide. Expression levels of ORMDL3, phosphorylated (p)ERK and MMP9 were significantly greater in the asthmamodel group; however, in the group pretreated with budesonide their expression was reduced. Expression levels of ORMDL3, pERK and MMP9 were significantly positively correlated with bronchial wall thickness. ORMDL3 expression was significantly positively correlated with pERK and MMP9. Therefore, increased ORMDL3 expression may induce the pERK/MMP9 pathway to promote pathological airway remodeling in patients with asthma.
