RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Lung cancer is the most common cancer in the world and has become one of the malignancies with the highest incidence and mortality; more than half of patients die within one year of being diagnosed with lung cancer. In recent years, the concept of "patient-centered" service has gained popularity, and patients' subjective feelings have gradually been used in clinical decision-making. Therefore, this study determined the application of visual patient report outcomes in the field of lung cancer, in order to provide reference for specific clinical practice. METHODS: Using the Web of Science core collection as the main analysis content, Citespace and VOSviewer were used to conduct this scientometric study. RESULTS: A total of 499 literatures that met the inclusion criteria were retrieved. The most prolific institution was The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the United States dominates this field. CONCLUSION: The measurement of patient-reported outcomes is considered the gold standard for effectively evaluating patients' perceptions of clinical interventions or diseases. It is recommended that patient-reported outcomes be integrated into routine care for cancer patients in order to enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers. PATIENT OR PUBLIC CONTRIBUTION: Not applicable. All data in this paper are obtained from the web of science database.

RESUMEN

Objective: To analyze and summarize the trends and hot spots in the field of neurological damage caused by electric welding operations, and to provide ideas for new researches by searching the domestic and international literature. Methods: In December 2022, using Web of Science Citation Index (Web of Science), China Journal Full-Text Database (CNKI) and Wanfang Database as search databases, literature search was conducted on the Chinese and English search terms related to eletrical welding operations and neurological damage. The bibliometric analysis software VOSviewer 1.6.18 and CiteSpace 6.1.6 were used to visualize the publication year, publication quantity, country, research institution and key words of the literature. Results: A total of 309 articles (112 in Chinese and 197 in English) were included in this study. The first domestic and international papers were published in 1976 and 1994 respectively, and the number of papers reached the peak in 2006 and 2018, and then showed a downward trend to varying degrees. In China, Shandong First Medical University (including Shandong Institute of Occupational Health and Occupational Disease Prevention and Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences) and Wuhan University of Science and Technology had the largest number of publications. The 309 articles were from 52 Chinese journals and 86 English journals. The co-occurrence analysis of key words showed that the domestic research mainly focused on eletrical welding operation, welding workers, neurobehavioral function and manganese, and the nervous system damage caused by manganese in welding smoke was the field of international attention. Long term exposure, risk, and performance were key buzzwords in the field. Conclusion: The research focus in the field of nervous system damage caused by electric welding operation has an obvious trend of time evolution, gradually transiting from clinical manifestations to its toxic mechanism and early biomarkers.

RESUMEN

This study aimed to evaluate and pinpoint the status, hot areas, and frontiers of immune activation during HIV infection utilizing CiteSpace. From 1990 to 2022, we searched for studies on immune activation during HIV infection in the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace was used to visually analyze the publications to identify the research status and pertinent research hotspots and frontiers in terms of the countries, institutions, authors, references, journals, and keywords. The Web of Science Core Collection yielded 5321 articles on immune activation during HIV infection. With 2854 and 364 articles, the United States and the University of California, San Francisco were the leading nation and institution in this domain. Steven G. Deeks has published 95 papers and is the most published author. The top cited articles on microbial translocation as a significant factor during HIV infection were published by Brenchley et al. Research on molecular/biology/genetics is often referenced in publications in the journals of molecular/biology/immunology. Inflammation, risk, mortality, cardiovascular disease, persistence, and biomarkers will be high-frequency words that are hot topics of research. According to the results, there was a strong collaboration between countries and organizations but little collaboration among authors. Molecular biology, immunology, and medicine are the main study subjects. The current hot topics in research are inflammation, risk, mortality, cardiovascular disease, persistence, and biomarkers. Future studies should concentrate on reducing the pathological changes caused by inflammation and altering the mechanisms of immune activation to reduce the size of the viral reservoir.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disease which has risen to become the main cause of childhood disability, placing a heavy burden on families and society. To date, the treatment of patients with ASD remains a complicated problem, for which neuromodulation techniques are a promising solution. This study analyzed the global research situation of neuromodulation techniques in the treatment of ASD from 1992 to 2022, aiming to explore the global research status and frontier trends in this field. METHODS: The Web of Science (WoS) was searched for literature related to neuromodulation techniques for ASD from 1992 to October 2022. A knowledge atlas to analyze collaboration among countries, institutions, authors, publishing journals, reference co-citation patterns, keyword co-occurrence, keyword clustering, and burst keywords was constructed using Rstudio software, CiteSpace, and VOSviewer. RESULTS: In total, 392 publications related to the treatment of ASD using neuromodulation techniques were included. Despite some fluctuations, the number of publications in this field has shown a growing trend in recent years. The United States and Deakin University are the leading country and institution in this field, respectively. The greatest contributing authors are Peter G Enticott, Manuel F Casanova, and Paul B Fitzgerald et al. The most prolific and cited journal is Brain Stimulation and the most commonly co-cited journal is The Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders. The most frequently cited article was that of Simone Rossi (Safety, ethical considerations, and application guidelines for the use of transverse magnetic stimulation in clinical practice and research, 2009). "Obsessive-compulsive disorder," "transcranial direct current stimulation," "working memory," "double blind" and "adolescent" were identified as hotspots and frontier trends of neuromodulation techniques in the treatment of ASD. CONCLUSION: The application of neuromodulation techniques for ASD has attracted the attention of researchers worldwide. Restoring the social ability and improving the comorbid symptoms in autistic children and adults have always been the focus of research. Neuromodulation techniques have demonstrated significant advantages and effects on these issues. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) are new therapeutic methods introduced in recent years, and are also directions for further exploration.

RESUMEN

Background and Objectives: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease whose impact on health is not only limited to the skin, but is also associated with multiple comorbidities. Early screening for comorbidities along with appropriate treatment plans can provide a positive prognosis for patients. This study aimed to summarize the knowledge structure in the field of psoriasis comorbidities and further explore its research hotspots and trends through bibliometrics. Materials and Methods: A search was conducted in the core collection of the Web of Science for literature on comorbidities of psoriasis from 2004 to 2022. VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used for collaborative network analysis, co-citation analysis of references, and keyword co-occurrence analysis on these publications. Results: A total of 1803 papers written by 6741 authors from 81 countries was included. The publications have shown a progressive increase since 2004. The United States and Europe were at the forefront of this field. The most prolific institution was the University of California, and the most productive author was A. Armstrong. Research has focused on "psoriatic arthritis", "metabolic syndrome", "cardiovascular disease", "psychosomatic disease", "inflammatory bowel disease", "prevalence", "quality of life", and "risk factor" in the past 18 years. Keywords such as "biologics" and "systemic inflammation", have been widely used recently, suggesting current research hotspots and trends. Conclusions: Over the past 18 years, tremendous progress has been made in research on psoriasis comorbidity. However, collaborations among countries, institutions, and investigators are inadequate, and the study of the mechanisms of interaction between psoriasis and comorbidities and management of comorbidities is insufficient. The treatment of comorbidities with biologic agents, screening of comorbidities, and multidisciplinary co-management are predicted to be the focus of future research.

RESUMEN

Background: Coronavirus primarily targets the human respiratory system, COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019) triggered in China in the late 2019. In March 2020, WHO announced the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze and visualize the scientific structure of the COVID-19 publications using co-citation and co-authorship. Methods: This is a scientometric study. Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) was searched for all documents regarding COVID-19, MERS-Cov, and SARS-Cov from the beginning to 2020. An Excel spreadsheet was applied to gather and analyze the data and the CiteSpace was used to visualize and analyze the data. Results: A total of 5159 records were retrieved in WoSCC. The structure of the network indicated that the network mean silhouette was low (0.1444), implying that the network clusters' identity is not identifiable with high confidence. The network modularity was 0.7309. The cluster analysis of the co-citation network on documents from 2003 to 2020 provided 188 clusters. The largest cluster entitled, "the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus" had 255 nodes. The coauthorship network illustrated that the most prolific countries, USA, China, and Saudi Arabia, have focused on a specific field and have formed separate clusters. Conclusion: The present study identified the important topics of research in the field of COVID-19 based on co-citation networks as well as the analysis of clusters of countries' collaborations. Despite the similarities in the production behavior in prolific countries, their thematic focus varies so that a country like China plays a role in "Quantitative Detection" cluster, while USA is the leading country in the "Biological Evaluation" cluster.

RESUMEN

The extreme high temperature weather event caused by global warming has increased the risk of urban electric power supply. Critical risk determination method is useful to the system risk prevention and adaptive strategy formulation. Based on analyzing the failure mechanism of power supply under heat wave impact, the paper put forward the method framework of energy-flow network on electric power system risk evaluation. There are three parts in the framework including energy-flow chart analysis of power supply and consumption, establishment and network analysis of Gephi visualization network, and matrix diagram evaluation of node importance. The visualized network of power system with different years and electricity input from external area were established and compared in the case study of Beijing in China. The analysis results showed that the network structure stability of the power system decreased slightly, which was due to the node energy flow becoming high imbalance such as power input from external area, local power generation and energy consumption. For risk prevention, power infrastructures should focus on the high-voltage transmission and distribution facilities and 500 kV hub substations. Meanwhile, to electric power generation and supply, natural gas supply and power supply from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region played the key roles. And power consumption should focus on the tertiary industry and living consumption.

RESUMEN

Background: Psychological violence is a serious global public health and social issue, attracting increasing research. Its adverse effects on individuals and society are significant. Given the negative impacts of psychological violence and the importance of maintaining mental health, we employed a bibliometric analysis of the literature on psychological violence over the past 20 years on a global scale. Objective: We aimed to elucidate the current research hotspots and development trends in psychological violence using bibliometrics and a visualization analysis, and provide ideas for related research. Methods: We searched three databases in the Web of Science Core Collection to obtain data from January 1, 2003, to December 31, 2022, and utilized VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Scimago Graphica software to visualize authors, journals, countries, institutions, and collaboration and keyword networks. Results: Ultimately, 4,387 publications related to psychological violence were identified; the top three countries for the number of publications were the United States, England, and Canada, in that order; The top three institutions were the University of Toronto, King's College London, and Columbia University. Of 15,681 authors, the average publication rate was 0.28 articles per author, with Rodriguez-Carballeira A from Spain publishing the most articles; The top three disciplinary distributions were psychiatry, family Studies, and clinical psychology; Research hotspots included causes, harms, evaluation strategies, and interventions related to psychological violence. Conclusion: The increasing number of publications suggests greater interest among researchers in the interconnected domains of psychological violence, with the ongoing research reflecting stability and maturity. The current research focus is on the risk factors, manifestations, and consequences of psychological violence. In the future, potential emerging research trends include exploring measurement methods for psychological violence and identifying mitigation strategies. The global community has developed a well-established foundation for cooperation. However domestic research is lacking, indicating the need for enhancement and increased collaboration among researchers, institutions, and countries.
