RESUMO
The results of laparoscopic cholecystectomy, conducted in 71 patients, suffering cholelithiasis, were analyzed. In early postoperative period an acute cholangitis have occurred in 2 (2.8%) patients, an acute pancreatitis--in 1 (1.4%), postoperative infiltrate--in 14(19.7%), suppuration of postoperative cicatrix--in 6 (8.4%); late compli- cations as a kind of postcholecystectomy syndrome was observed in 29 (40.8%) patients, and abdominal hernia--in 3 (4.2%).

Retrospective analysis of postoperative complications, occurred in patients, to whom laparoscopic interventions were performed in the Department of Laparoscopic Surgery and Cholelithiasis, was conducted. The rate of inflammatory and thromboembolic complications have constituted 2.2 and 0.1%, accordingly.

Causes of death of 65 patients with ileus and 43--with diffuse peritonitis for 1998-2000 period were analyzed. Considering the data obtained the improved programme of the via intubation probe treatment was used. Application of elaborated treatment charts have allowed to lower the mortality in ileus--down to 9.4%, in diffuse peritonitis--to 6.6%.
