Ecosystem services (ESs) and their changes are complex processes driven by multiple factors. Understanding the trade-off and synergy between ESs and their driving factors is essential for achieving effective management of ESs and human well-being. Taking the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the research area, this study analyzed the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of four ESs including water yield, soil conservation, carbon sequestration, and food supply from 2000 to 2020. Correlation analysis and geographically weighted regression were used to identify and quantify the trade-off and synergy between ESs. On this basis, the partial least squares structural equation model was used to explore the impact of natural and human activities on ESs, and then the driving mechanism of ESs relationship change was analyzed via GeoDetector. The results showed that:① During the 20 years, the average annual carbon sequestration increased from 946.14 t·km-2 to 1 202.73 t·km-2, and the average food supply increased from 32.73×104 Yuan·km-2 to 127.22×104 Yuan·km-2. Water yield and soil conservation increased to a lesser degree. ② On the whole, carbon sequestration and soil conservation and food supply and water yield showed synergy, and other ESs were trade-offs. The relationship between ESs varied in different regions. ③ Terrain and climate were important driving factors for ESs and the trade-off and synergy of multiple ESs. Among them, structural equation model results showed that climate had a positive impact on water yield (S=0.73), and terrain had a negative impact on food supply (S=-0.57). GeoDetector results revealed that the main driving factors affecting the spatial relationship between carbon sequestration and water yield were elevation (q=0.38) and precipitation (q=0.19). The results of this study can provide a scientific reference for the sustainable management of ESs in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the realization of the coordinated development of ecological environment protection and social economy in the region.

Background Long-term exposure to noise during sleep may has adverse effects on metabolic system, and liver lipid metabolism is closely related to circadian clock genes. Objective To investigate the effects of long-term noise exposure during sleep on liver circadian clock and lipid metabolism in mice and its related mechanism. Methods Twenty C57BL/6J male mice were randomly divided into two groups: a noise exposure group and a control group with 10 mice in each group. The mice in the noise exposure group were exposed to white noise at 90 dB sound pressure level (SPL) for 30 consecutive days, 8 h a day, from 9:00 to 17:00. The mice in the control group were exposed to background noise ≤40 dB SPL. After noise exposure, the animals were neutralized at 14:00 (ZT6) and 2:00 (ZT18), 5 animals at each time spot, and the liver tissues were collected. Total cholesterol and triglyceride in liver were determined by cholesterol oxidase method and glycerol phosphate oxidase method respectively. The expressions of circadian clock genes (Clock, Bmal1, Rev-erbα, and Rev-erbβ) and lipid metabolism genes (Srebp1c, Hmgcr, Fasn, Lxrα, Acc1, and Chrebp) in liver were detected by quantitative real-time PCR. Results Compared with the control group, the content of total cholesterol in liver in the noise exposure group increased by 48% (P<0.05) and the content of liver triglyceride increased by 61% (P<0.05) at ZT18. The mRNA expression levels of circadian clock genes Clock and Bmal1 in the noise exposure group was significantly increased at ZT18 and decreased at ZT6 (P<0.05). The mRNA expression level of Rev-erbα decreased at both ZT6 and ZT18 (P<0.05). The mRNA expression level of Rev-erbβ had no significant change at ZT6 and ZT18. The mRNA expression levels of liver lipid metabolism related genes Srebp1c, Hmgcr, Chrebp, and Lxrα in the noise exposure group were higher than those in the control group at ZT18 (P<0.05). The mRNA expression levels of Acc1 and Fasn showed no significant change at ZT6, then an upward trend at ZT18, but no significant difference between the two time spots (P>0.05). Conclusion Long-term noise exposure during sleep can cause circadian clock and lipid metabolism disorders in mice. Among them, suppression of key circadian clock genes may be associated with Rev-erbα-mediated upregulation of the nuclear receptors Srebp1c and Chrebp for lipid synthesis and deposition in the liver, resulting in lipid metabolism disorder.

Background Environmental noise pollution is serious, and there are few studies on the effects of long-term noise exposure during sleep on cognitive function and possible biological clock mechanism. Objective To explore the cognitive impairment induced by noise exposure during sleep in mice and possible biological clock mechanism, and to provide a theoretical basis for the protection against noise exposure. Methods Twenty male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into a control group and a noise-exposed group, 10 mice in each group. The noise-exposed group was exposed to sleep-period noise using a noise generator for 12 h (08:00–20:00) per day for a total of 30 d. The calibrated noise intensity was set at 90 dB. No intervention was imposed on the control group. At the end of the noise exposure, cognitive function of mice was examined using the new object recognition experiment and the open field test, and the hippocampal tissue damage of mice were evaluated by Nissl staining, ionized calcium binding adaptor molecule 1 (Iba1) immunofluorescence staining, and real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR for inflammatory factors and biological clock genes. Oxidative stress indicators in the hippocampus of mice were also detected by assay kit. Results After noise exposure during sleep period, the results of new object recognition experiment showed that the discrimination index of mice in the noise-exposed group was 0.06±0.04, which was significantly lower than that of the control group (0.65±0.13) (P<0.05). The results of open field test showed that the central activity distance of the noise-exposed group was (242.20±176.10) mm, which was significantly lower than that of the control group, (1548.00±790.30) mm (P < 0.05), and the central activity time of the noise-exposed group was (0.87±0.64) s, which was significantly lower than that of the control group, (6.00±2.86) s (P < 0.05). The Nissl staining results showed that compared with the control group, neurons in the hippocampus of the noise-exposed mice were shrunken, deeply stained, disorganized, and loosely connected. The immunofluorescence results showed that microglia in the hippocampus of the noise-exposed mice were activated and the expression of Iba1 was significantly increased compared with those of the control group (P<0.05). The real-time PCR results of showed that the mRNA levels of the biological clock genes Clock, Per2, and Rev-erbα were significantly increased compared with those of the control group (P<0.05), and the mRNA level of Per1 was significantly decreased compared with that of the control group (P<0.05); and the mRNA levels of IL-18, IL-6, iNOS, and NLRP3 in the hippocampal tissues of mice were significantly increased compared with those of the control group (P<0.05). The results of oxidative stress evaluation showed that compared with the control group, reduced glutathione content was significantly reduced in the noise-exposed group (P<0.001). Conclusion Noise exposure during sleep period can lead to the destabilization of biological clock genes in hippocampal tissues and trigger hippocampal neuroinflammation, which can lead to the activation of microglia and cause cognitive impairment in mice.

BACKGROUND: Opioids provide good analgesic effect in burn patients during acute phase, but these patients may develop tolerance after prolonged exposure. Alternative analgesic strategies such as peripheral nerve blocks appear to provide adequate pain control while sparing opioid-related side effects. The purpose of this study was to evaluate intravenous patient-controlled analgesia (IV-PCA) and continuous peripheral nerve block (CPNB-PCA) in severe burn patients with relatively young age undergoing repeated debridement and large-area full thickness skin graft (FTSG). METHODS: The records of victims in dust explosion in Taiwan in 2016 from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Pain Service Database between 2016 June and 2017 December were evaluated. The patients' demographic data including age, gender, weight, burn area, degree of burn, type of PCA regimen (IV-PCA versus CPNB-PCA), size of FTSG, and adverse effects were collected. RESULTS: The total in-hospital morphine consumption was significantly lower in CPNB-PCA than IV-PCA group. A trend of decrease in numerical rating scores (NRS) was observed for both groups and CPNB group had comparable NRS than IV-PCA group at rest. On movement, CPNB grouped had significantly lower NRS than IV-PCA on post-operative day 3. CONCLUSION: Our study demonstrated that in patients requiring high dosage of opioid, CPNB may be a suitable alternative for pain control.

Given the unprecedented and profound impact on the traditional sports industry and its economic driving force brought by the "Internet +", the purpose of this study is to explore the driving relationship between the sports industry and local economic development and deconstruct the dynamic regulation mechanism of "Internet +" on the economic spillover of the sports industry. Empirical data collected from China's 11 inter-provincial panel data from 2015-2019 were analyzed through the fixed-effects and threshold models. The study finds that the economic spillover of the sports industry has significantly promoted regional economic development, and the regulation effect of the Internet has complex non-linear characteristics. Only when Internet development exceeds a specific threshold can it develop a benign complementary mechanism with the sports industry. The impact of "Internet +" on the threshold regulation of the sports industry economic spillover has spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics in the three dimensions of Internet hardware level, Internet penetration rate, and Internet application value. The results of this study extend the current study, indicating that it is a practical choice for local governments to develop the economy through the sports industry. Provinces and cities should enhance the Internet penetration rate, expand Internet business applications, and upgrade Internet development to a specific point to maximize the drive of positive spillover. Regional heterogeneity requires differential regulation strategies and more concentration on the middle and western regions.

@#Objective     To identify the heart sounds of aortic stenosis by deep learning model based on DenseNet121 architecture, and to explore its application potential in clinical screening aortic stenosis. Methods      We prospectively collected heart sounds and clinical data of  patients with aortic stenosis in Tianjin Chest Hospital, from June 2021 to February 2022. The collected heart sound data were used to train, verify and test a deep learning model. We evaluated the performance of the model by drawing receiver operating characteristic curve and precision-recall curve.  Results     A total of 100 patients including 11 asymptomatic patients were included. There were 50 aortic stenosis patients with 30 males and 20 females at an average age of 68.18±10.63 years in an aortic stenosis group (stenosis group). And 50 patients without aortic valve disease were in a negative group, including 26 males and 24 females at an average age of 45.98±12.51 years. The model had an excellent ability to distinguish heart sound data collected from patients with aortic stenosis in clinical settings: accuracy at 91.67%, sensitivity at 90.00%, specificity at 92.50%, and area under receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.917.   Conclusion     The model of heart sound diagnosis of aortic stenosis based on deep learning has excellent application prospects in clinical screening, which can provide a new idea for the early identification of patients with aortic stenosis.

The theory of disease prevention with traditional Chinese medicine is introduced into the prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension. In order to fully implement the advantages of acupuncture, the three-level prevention strategy is strengthened on the whole-process intervention with acupuncture for hypertension, including prevention before disease onset, starting intervention at the early phase, and prevention disease from exacerbating. Moreover, the comprehensive management scheme, multidisciplinary coordination and participation mechanism are investigated in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for preventive treatment of hypertension.

RESUMO

The appropriate needle device is crucial for obtaining the curative effect of fire needling therapy. The article introduces the material specification, clinical operation, indications, characteristics and advantages of the contemporary traditional fire needling devices (e.g. He's fire needle and Shi 's fire needle) and the contemporary new-type ones (e.g. fire needling with filiform needle and micro-needle); and determines the innovations of modern fire needling. It is anticipated that the needle specifications, production process and operation standard of fire needling devices should be further unified so as to provide the references for the selection of fire needling devices in treatment based on clinical syndrome differentiation and expand the clinical application of fire needling therapy.

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the effect of fire needling on prostate symptoms, quality of life, average daily number of nightly urination, urine flow rate and prostat volume in patients with mild to moderate benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) of kidney yang deficiency.@*METHODS@#A total of 60 patients with mild to moderate BPH of kidney yang deficiency were randomly divided into an observation group (30 cases, 3 cases dropped off) and a control group (30 cases, 4 cases dropped off). The observation group was treated with fire needling at Guanyuan (CV 4), Shuidao (ST 28) and Qugu (CV 2) twice a week (2-3 d interval between each treatment), continuous treatment for 4 weeks. The control group received lifestyle advice and education, once a week for 4 weeks. In the two groups, the international prostate symptom score (IPSS), the quality of life (QoL) score and the average daily number of nightly urination were observed before treatment, after treatment and during the follow-up of the 4th week; the urinary maximum flow rate (Qmax), the average flow rate (Qave), and the prostate volume were assessed before and after treatment in the two groups. The safety was observed in the observation group.@*RESULTS@#After treatment and during follow-up, the IPSS scores, QoL scores, and the average daily number of nightly urination in the observation group were decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and those in the observation group were lower than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, there was no significant difference in Qmax, Qave and prostate volume between the two groups and within the each group (P>0.05). There were no fire needling-related adverse reactions, and no obvious abnormality was found in urine routine and coagulation function tests before and after treatment in the observation group.@*CONCLUSION@#Fire needling can improve lower urinary tract symptoms and quality of life, reduce frequency of nightly urination in patients with mild to moderate BPH of kidney yang deficiency, and has good safety.

Aim To prepare prostate cancer exosomes containing melittin and observe their uptake by prostate cancer cells. Methods Cells treated with starvation for different time were screened for exosome extraction. Exosomes from PC-3 cells were extracted by ultracentrifugation, and the extracted particles were examined by transmission electron microscopy, nanoparticle tracking analyzer(NTA), and Western blot. Melittin exosome system was prepared by repeated freeze-thaw method, incubation at room temperature as well as electroporation, and the size of encapsulation efficiency was measured by centrifugation. A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was applied to assay the content of melittin exosomes(exo-mel). Fluorescence inverted microscopy was employed to evaluate the uptake of melittin exosomes by PC-3 cells, DU145 cells as well as LNCaP cells. Results The results of starvation treatment showed that 24 h starvation treatment was the optimal time point. TEM results showed that the exosomes were round or oval in shape with a distinct membranous structure, and the diameter was around 100 nm. The reagent protein concentration for NTA analysis of exosomes was 0.222 g·L-1. The results of Western blot for the marker proteins of exosomes showed that Alix and CD63 were positively expressed, which indicated that the exosomes could be obtained by starvation culture of PC-3 cells and ultracentrifugation. The results of entrapment efficiency showed that the entrapment efficiency of electroporation method was 17.51% ± 2.39%, that of repeated freeze-thaw method was 11.46% ± 1.02%, and that of room temperature incubation method was 3.93% ± 2.44%. The encapsulation efficiency of electroporation was the highest with significant difference(P<0.05). The uptake assay showed that PC-3 cells could efficiently take up exo-mel in a time-dependent manner, and DU145 cells and LNCaP cells also could take up exo-mel over time. Conclusions Exosomes can be accessed by starvation treatment and high-speed centrifugation, and the prostate cancer melittin exosome system prepared by electroporation method could be taken up by prostate cancer cells.

RESUMO

Starting from the perspective of meridian theory, this article briefly analyzes the meridian pathophysiology of snoring and the relationship between snoring and meridian theory. It proposes that acupuncture treatment for snoring should focus on regulating qi from the shaoyang meridians, harmonizing the spirit by the governor vessel, resolving phlegm through the three yang meridians, and harmonizing qi and blood from the yangming meridians. Additionally, attention is placed on both the root cause and the symptoms, the theory of "four seas". The ultimate goal is to promote the flow of meridian and qi-blood, improve symptoms such as nighttime snoring, poor sleep quality, and daytime sleepiness, and achieve the desired outcome of stopping snoring and ensuring restful sleep.

RESUMO

Due to various constraints, such as clinical implementation conditions and unique characteristics of acupuncture-moxibustion, some randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of acupuncture-moxibustion still suffer from relatively low quality and limited applicability. The single-arm objective performance criteria/performance goal can be considered as an ideal supplementary and alternative research approach to RCTs. In this paper, the feasibility of applying the single-arm objective performance criteria/performance goal in acupuncture-moxibustion clinical research is explored from the limitations of conducting acupuncture-moxibustion RCTs, the principles, the essential design considerations and key statistical steps. In addition, illustrative examples are provided. The objective is to offer insights into resolving practical difficulties in acupuncture-moxibustion clinical research.

RESUMO

This study summarizes the clinical thinking of acupuncture for snoring based on "disharmony qi leads to restlessness". According to the pathological characteristics of qi stagnation and blood stasis, phlegm dampness and internal obstruction in snoring patients, combined with the etiology, pathogenesis and location of the disease, the innovative viewpoint of "disharmony qi leads to restlessness" is proposed. It is believed that the key to snoring treatment lies in "regulating qi ". In clinical practice, acupuncture can directly regulate the qi of the disease's location, regulate the qi of the organs and viscera, and regulate the qi of the meridians to achieve overall regulation of the body's internal and external qi, smooth circulation of qi and blood, and ultimately achieve the therapeutic goal of harmonizing qi, stopping snoring, and improving sleep quality.

RESUMO

Based on the development of conditions, the etiology and pathogenesis of jingjin (muscle region of meridian) diseases are summarized as 3 stages, i.e. stagnation due to over-exertion at early stage, manifested by tendon-muscle contracture and tenderness; cold condition due to stagnation, interaction of stasis and cold, resulting in clustered nodules at the middle stage; prolonged illness and missed/delayed treatment, leading to tendon-muscle contracture and impairment of joint function at the late stage. It is proposed that the treatment of jingjin diseases should be combined with the characteristic advantages of fire needling and bloodletting technique, on the base of "eliminating stagnation and bloodletting/fire needling". This combined therapy warming yang to resolve stasis and dispels cold to remove nodules, in which, eliminating the stagnation is conductive to the tissue regeneration, and the staging treatment is delivered in terms of the condition development at different phases.

RESUMO

Background COVID-19 vaccines with alternative strain compositions are needed to provide broad protection against newly emergent SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern. Methods We conducted a global Phase 3, multi-stage efficacy study (NCT04904549) among adults aged [≥]18 years. Participants were randomized 1:1 to receive two intramuscular injections 21 days apart of a bivalent SARS-CoV-2 recombinant protein vaccine with AS03-adjuvant (5 g of ancestral (D614) and 5 g of B.1.351 [beta] variant spike protein) or placebo. Symptomatic COVID-19 was defined as laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 with COVID-19-like illness (CLI) symptoms. The primary efficacy endpoint was the prevention of symptomatic COVID-19 [≥]14 days after the second injection. Results Between 19 Oct 2021 and 15 Feb 2022, 12,924 participants received [≥]1 study injection. 75% of participants were SARS-CoV-2 non-naive. 11,416 participants received both study injections (efficacy-evaluable population [vaccine, n=5,736; placebo, n=5,680]). Up to 15 March 2022, 121 symptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported (32 in the vaccine group and 89 in the placebo group) [≥]14 days after the second injection with a vaccine efficacy (VE) of 64.7% (95% confidence interval [CI] 46.6; 77.2%). VE was 75.1% (95% CI 56.3; 86.6%) in non-naive and 30.9% (95% CI -39.3; 66.7%) in naive participants. Viral genome sequencing identified the infecting strain in 68 cases (Omicron [BA.1 and BA.2 subvariants]: 63; Delta: 4; Omicron and Delta: 1). The vaccine was well-tolerated and had an acceptable safety profile. Conclusions A bivalent vaccine conferred heterologous protection against symptomatic infection with newly emergent Omicron (BA.1 and BA.2) in non-naive adults 18-59 years of age. BackgroundBooster vaccines providing protection against emergent SARS-CoV-2 variants are needed. In an international phase 3 study, we evaluated booster vaccines containing prototype (D614) and/or Beta (B.1.351) variant recombinant spike proteins and AS03 adjuvant (CoV2 preS dTM-AS03). MethodsAdults, primed 4-10 months earlier with mRNA (BNT162b2, mRNA-1273]), adenovirus-vectored (Ad26.CoV2.S, ChAdOx1nCoV-19) or adjuvanted protein (CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 [D614]) vaccines and stratified by age (18-55 and [≥]56 years), were boosted with monovalent (MV) D614 (5g, n=1285), MV (B.1351) (5g, n=707) or bivalent (BiV) (2.5g D614 plus 2.5g B.1.351, n=625) CoV2 preS dTM-AS03. SARS-CoV-2-naive adults (controls, n=479) received a primary series (two injections, 21 days apart) of CoV2 preS dTM-AS03 containing 10g D614. Antibodies to D614G, B.1.351 and Omicron BA.2 and BA.1 variants were evaluated using validated pseudovirus (lentivirus) neutralization (PsVN) assay. D614G or B.1.351 PsVN titers 14 days (D15) post-booster were compared with pre-booster (D1) titers in BNT162b2-primed participants (18-55 years old) and controls (D36), for each booster formulation (co-primary objectives). Safety was evaluated throughout the trial. Results of a planned interim analysis are presented. ResultsAmong BNT162b2-primed adults (18-55 years old), PsVN titers against D614G or B.1.351 were significantly higher post-booster than anti-D614G titers post-primary vaccination in controls, for all booster formulations, with an anti-D614G GMT ratio (98.3% CI) of 2.16 (1.69; 2.75) for MV(D614), an anti-B.1.351 ratio of 1.96 (1.54; 2.50) for MV (B.1.351) and anti-D614G and anti-B.1.351 ratios of 2.34 (1.84; 2.96) and 1.39 (1.09; 1.77), respectively, for BiV. All booster formulations elicited cross-neutralizing antibodies against Omicron BA.2 across vaccine priming subgroups and against Omicron BA.1 (evaluated in BNT162b2-primed participants). Similar patterns in antibody responses were observed for participants aged [≥]56 years. No safety concerns were identified. ConclusionCoV2 preS dTM-AS03 boosters demonstrated acceptable safety and elicited robust neutralizing antibodies against multiple variants, regardless of priming vaccine. RESUMO

We numerically study turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard (RB) convection under spatial temperature modulation, where the bottom temperature varies sinusoidally around a mean value in space. Both two- and three-dimensional simulations are performed over the Rayleigh number range 10^{7}≤Ra≤10^{10} and the wave number range 1≤k≤120 at fixed Prandtl number Pr=0.7. It is demonstrated that spatial temperature modulation with small wave numbers can enhance the global heat transfer (characterized by the Nusselt number Nu) in the turbulent regime, while Nu is close to that in standard RB convection in the case of large wave numbers. Further, we propose two characteristic modulation length scales: one is the penetration depth δ_{k} above which spatial modulation is negligible, the other is the inversion depth δ_{k2} below which there exists a stable inverse temperature gradient. Based on the relative thickness of the thermal boundary layer (BL) δ_{th} compared with these two length scales, the underlying modulation mechanism is physically explained and three regimes are identified: (1) an unperturbed BL regime (δ_{k}<δ_{th}), in which the modulation effect does not penetrate through the thermal BL and Nu is nearly unchanged; (2) a partially modulated BL regime (δ_{k2}<δ_{th}<δ_{k}), in which hot spots trigger more plume emissions from the thermal BL, resulting in Nu enhancement; and (3) a fully modulated BL regime (δ_{th}<δ_{k2}), in which the stable temperature inversion over the cold phases begins to affect convective flows, which alters the trend of Nu enhancement.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a new approach based on Balthazar grades of acute pancreatitis (AP) and to assess this modified method as a tool for the early prediction of AP severity in the emergency department (ED). METHODS: Data pertaining to AP patients ≥18 years old that had undergone computed tomography (CT) scanning within 24 h following ED admission between January 1, 2017 and September 30, 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were separated into two groups based on the length of time between the onset of their AP symptoms and the completion of CT scanning (Group 1: <72 h; Group 2: ≥72 h). Modified Balthazar grades for these patients were then assessed, with the concordance between these modified grades and the 2012 revised Atlanta classification being assessed using the Kappa (κ) statistic. The modified grade with the largest κ value was evaluated based on performance traits including Harrell's concordance index (C-index), area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) analyses, calibration curves, and decision curve analyses (DCA) in comparison with bedside index for severity in AP (BISAP) scores. RESULTS: In total, 372 patients were included in the present analysis. These patients were regraded according to six methods, with the method yielding the largest κ value consisting of regraded Balthazar grades A-C, D, and E, respectively, corresponding to mild, moderate, and severe AP. The κ values for this method were 0.786 (95% CI, 0.706-0.853) in Group 1 and 0.907 (95% CI, 0.842-0.955) in Group 2, exhibiting nearly complete agreement with the latest Atlanta classification of AP. AUROC values for these modified Balthazar grades when used to predict SAP were significantly higher than those for BISAP scores in Group 1, Group 2, and the overall cohort (P < 0.05). The DCA curves for Group 1, Group 2, and the overall patient cohort exhibited substantial net benefits when using these modified grades across a range of POFs relative to BISAP scores. The calibration curve for this modified approach to predicting POF in AP patients revealed good agreement in this cohort. CONCLUSION: Modified Balthazar grades exhibited substantial to near-total agreement with the 2012 revised Atlanta classification of AP patients, and this modified method can thus be used for the early prediction of AP severity in the ED.

A total internal reflection system based on the weak value amplification principle is set up for the precise measurement of the thickness of an ultra-thin film. In this system, the film thickness is derived from the change of the double-peak pointer caused by the effective refractive index of the film, which is correlated to its thickness. The sensitivity and resolution of this system reached 2727.21 nm/RIU and 7.2×10-6 R I U, respectively, determined by using a sodium chloride solution with a refractive index of 1.331911. The growth process of TA/Fe(III) assembled films with thicknesses in the few nanometers range is monitored using the as-set-up system, and the experimental results are consistent with a theoretical calculation based on the Maxwell Garnett effective medium. Additionally, we theoretically calculated the detection limit for the thickness measurement of the film as 22 pm. We clearly provide a potential method for the precise measurement of the thickness of an ultra-thin film.

OBJECTIVE@#To study the mechanism of Chinese herbal medicine Fuzheng Kang'ai Formula (, FZKA) on tumor microenvironment (TME).@*METHODS@#CIBERSORTx was used for analysis of TME. Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology and Analysis Platform was applied to identify compounds-targets network and the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) was employed to identify the differential expression genes (DEGs) between tumor and paracancerous tissues in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) from TCGA-LUAD. Additionally, DEGs with prognosis in LUAD was calculated by univariable and multivariate Cox regression. The core targets of FZKA were analyzed in lung adenocarcinoma TME. Protein-protein interaction database was employed to predict down-stream of target. Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was employed for biological experiment in A549, H1299 and PC9 cell lines.@*RESULTS@#The active and resting mast cells were significantly associated with prognosis of LUAD (P<0.05). Of the targets, CCNA2 as an important target of FZKA (hazard ratio=1.41, 95% confidential interval: 1.01-2.01, P<0.05) was a prognostic target and significantly associated with mast cells. CCNA2 was positively correlated with mast cell activation and negatively correlated with mast cell resting state. BCL1L2, ACTL6A and ITGAV were down-stream of CCNA2, which were validated by qRT-PCR in A549 cell.@*CONCLUSION@#FZKA could directly bind to CCNA2 and inhibit tumor growth by regulating CCNA2 downstream genes and TME of NSCLC closely related to CCNA2.
