RESUMO

NOAA has developed a global reference evapotranspiration (ET0) reanalysis using the UN Food and Agriculture Organization formulation (FAO-56) of the Penman-Monteith equation forced by MERRA phase 2 (MERRA2) meteorological and radiative drivers. The NOAA ET0 reanalysis is provided daily from January 1, 1980 to the near-present at a resolution of 0.5° latitude × 0.625° longitude. The reanalysis is verified against station data across southern Africa, a region presenting both significant challenges regarding hydroclimatic variability and observational quantity and quality and significant potential benefits to food-insecure populations. These data are generated from observations from the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) network. We further verified globally against spatially distributed ET0 derived from two reanalyses-the Global Data Assimilation System (GDAS) and Princeton Global Forcing (PGF)-and these verifications produced similar results, yet demonstrated wide regional and seasonal differences. We also present cases that verify the operational applicability of the reanalysis in long-established drought, famine, crop- and pastoral-stress metrics, and in predictability assessments of drought forecasts.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study was to find the most rational approach to postoperative pain relief in the complex of intensive care for the acute and early periods of traumatic diseasein elderly patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: 132 gerontology patients with multiple trauma were included in the study. Respiratory and cardiovascular systems parameters were assessed, coagulogram and inflammatory response markers, pain severity and analgesia quality were assed. RESULTS: Results: According to the data obtained from the evaluation of VAS and Likerts scale, as well as other results, it was found that the use of NSAIDS and mu-opioid antagonists in the acute and early period of traumatic disease reduces significantly the severity of pain at a minimum daily dose (0.15 mg / kg), decreased the period of anaesthesia on demand, minimized negative respiratory and cardiovascular effects. Presence of sedative effect contributes to the improvement of emotional state of these patients. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: Age-related changes and concomitant pathology in geriatric patients define the need for the safe pain relief in this patients, in order to decrease possible adverse events. Optimal combination in geriatric patients with perioperative pain syndrome due to polytrauma is NSAIDs with antagonists-agonists. This combination reduce the prevalence and severity of negative respiratory and cardiovascular.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The aim: The aim of the study is to analyze financial indicators and assess the effectiveness of financing secondary medical care enterprises during the transition period in the context of remuneration to doctors. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Materials and methods: To perform the analysis, the financial characteristics of 26 medical facilities have been collected and processed by means of involving the bibliosemantic method, data extract and content analysis. CONCLUSION: Conclusions: Presents a comparative analysis of labour payment expenses to doctors of cardiology, obstetric and gynecological and surgical departments of medical facilities. The predicted labour payment expenses for the number of services provided have been calculated. Besides, the article makes it clear that the allocation of funds according to bed-day loads and the number of medical services rendered is unsustainable and does not correspond to the real load on the actual position.
