RESUMO

As a member of the apolipoprotein C (ApoC) family with a relatively high content, ApoC3 plays a major role in the regulation of triglyceride metabolism, and plays an important role in the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases, glucose and lipid metabolism disorders. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) refers to the accumulation of a large amount of fat in the liver in the absence of a history of chronic alcohol consumption or other damage to the liver. A large number of previous studies have shown that there is a correlation between the gene polymorphism and high expression of ApoC3 and NAFLD. In the context of hypertriglyceridemia (HTG), this article reviews the relationship between ApoC3 and NAFLD, glucose and lipid metabolism, and islet ß cell function, showing that ApoC3 can not only inhibit lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic lipase (HL) activity, delay the decomposition of triglyceride in plasma to maintain the body's energy metabolism during fasting, but also be significantly increased under insulin resistance, prompting the liver to secrete a large amount of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) to induce HTG. Therefore, targeting and inhibiting ApoC3 might become a new approach to treat HTG. Increasing evidence suggests that ApoC3 does not appear to be an independent "contributor" to NAFLD. Similarly, our previous studies have shown that ApoC3 is not an independent factor triggering islet ß cell dysfunction in ApoC3 transgenic mice, but in a state of excess nutrition, HTG triggered by ApoC3 high expression may exacerbate the effects of hyperglycemia and insulin resistance on islet ß cell function, and the underlying mechanism remains to be further discussed.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the causes of soft tissue complications in patients with dorsal displacement distal radius fractures (DRF) after volar locking plate surgery. METHODS: From July 2016 to May 2021, 112 patients with dorsal displacement DRF were treated with volar locking plate surgery, including 45 males and 67 females. The average age was (46.24±10.08) years old, ranging from 18 to 85 years old. According to whether there were soft tissue complications after operation, they were divided into complication group (40 cases) and non complication group (72 cases). Compared with preoperation, the radial metacarpal inclination and ulnar deflection angle, wrist flexion activity and dorsal extension activity, and grip strength of patients after operation were significantly improved (P<0.05). Compared with the non complication group, the proportion of patients in the complication group whose age was>60 years, body mass index (BMI) more than 30 kg·m-2, smoking, diabetes, fracture type C, open fracture and operation time more than 90 min was higher (P<0.05). The age, BMI, smoking, diabetes, fracture AO classification, fracture type and operation time were analyzed by multifactor Logistic regression to determine the independent risk factors affecting the occurrence of postoperative soft tissue complications of patients, establish a nomogram prediction model, and evaluate the model. RESULTS: At the latest follow-up, the excellent and good rate of wrist joint function recovery was 83.93% (94/112), and the excellent and good rate of fracture reduction was 84.82% (95/112). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age more than 60 years old, diabetes, fracture type C, open fracture and operation time more than 90 min were independent risk factors for postoperative soft tissue complications (P<0.05). The receiver operating characteristic (ROC), calibration curve and clinical decision curve of the nomogram prediction model showed discrimination, accuracy and validity were good. CONCLUSION: Age more than 60 years, diabetes mellitus, fracture type C, open fracture, and operation time more than 90 min are all independent risk factors for soft tissue complications after DRF volar plate fixation. In clinical treatment, perioperative soft tissue management should be done in such patients to prevent complications.

RESUMO

The steerability of a quantum state can be detected by steering inequalities. The linear steering inequalities show that more steerable states can be discovered with the increase of measurements. In order to detect more steerable states in two-photon systems, we first theoretically derive an optimized steering criterion based on infinity measurements for an arbitrary two-qubit state. The steering criterion is only determined by the spin correlation matrix of the state, and do not require infinity measurements. Then, we prepared the Werner-like states in two-photon systems, and measure their spin correlation matrices. Finally, we apply three steering criteria, which include our steering criterion, the three-measurement steering criterion and the geometric Bell-like inequality, to distinguish the steerability of these states. The results show that our steering criterion can detect the most steerable states under the same experimental conditions. Thus, our work provides a valuable reference for detecting the steerability of quantum states.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of CD47 molecules in patients with newly diagnosis of adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and its correlation with clinical prognosis. METHODS: 20 patients with acute myeloid leukemia diagnosed in Shanghai Fengxian District Central hospital from April 2020 to October 2021 and 5 cases with non malignant hematological diseases in the control group were collected, and the expression of CD47 in single nuclear cells of bone marrow and peripheral blood was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Combined with the blood image, bone marrow smears, flow cytometry, chromosome and gene detection, ECOG score, etc. during the patient's initial diagnosis, the relationship between the patient's prognosis and CD47 was evaluated. RESULTS: The expression of CD47 in bone marrow (P=0.0115) and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (P=0.0069) in new diagnosis AML patients was significantly higher than that of controls. In bone marrow mononuclear cells, the total survival time of patients with high CD47 expression was less than that of CD47 low expression patients (P=0.036). There was statistical significance in difference stratification group (P=0.012), but there was no statistical significance between CD47 expression and survival time in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (P=0.116). There were no statistical significance between bone marrow mononuclear cell CD47 expression and gene mutation fusion genes related to leukemia , CD34+, CD38+, CD123+ (P>0.05). The proportion of bone marrow protocells in AML patients was >50%, the ECOG score was >2 points, MLLELL fusion gene and chromosome prognosis stratification were all risk factors affecting the survival of patients (P=0023, 0.036, 0.012, 0.001, respectively). The high expression of bone marrow CD47 in AML patients indicated a high risk of recurrence (P=0.017). CONCLUSION: The high expression of bone marrow mononuclear cell CD47 in AML patients indicates poorer survival and higher risk of recurrence.

RESUMO

Coherence and steerability are two essential characteristics of quantum systems. For a two-qubit state, the first-order coherence and the maximal violation of linear steering inequality are used to operationally measure the degree of coherence and steerability, respectively. Recently, a complementary relation between first-order coherence and linear steerability has been proposed. In this paper, we report an experimental verification of the complementary relation by preparing biphoton polarization entangled states in an all-optical setup. We propose an operable method for experimental measurement of the first-order coherence and linear steerability and calculate the purity of the initial states by reconstructing the density matrices of them. The experimental results coincide with the theoretical predictions very well, which provides a valuable reference for the application of optical quantum technology.

RESUMO

Quantum entanglement, quantum steering and Bell nonlocality, as significant quantum resources in the field of quantum information science, can achieve variously valuable quantum information tasks. Among of them, quantum entanglement and Bell nonlocality are the weakest and strongest nonlocal correlations, respectively. One can capture the quantum steering and Bell nonlocality via violating steering inequality and Bell inequality, respectively. In general, the detections of quantum steering and Bell nonlocality are strictly harder than entanglement detection. Here, based on steering inequality test and quantum state tomography, we attain various nonlocal correlations and experimentally demonstrate that the estimations of quantum steering and Bell nonlocality can be realized according to the quantum entanglement of the prepared two-photon test states. The estimated efficiency of quantum steering is stronger than the one of Bell nonlocality in this scenario, i.e., more steerable two-photon test states can be verified through quantum entanglement. In addition, quantum steering and Bell nonlocality are bounded by the corresponding upper and lower bounds, and these bounds cannot be punctured by all prepared two-photon states in experiment. These results are conducive to understand the relations among these nonlocal correlations.

RESUMO

The overuse of chemical fertilizers has resulted in the degradation of the physicochemical properties and negative changes in the microbial profiles of agricultural soil. These changes have disequilibrated the balance in agricultural ecology, which has resulted in overloaded land with low fertility and planting obstacles. To protect the agricultural soil from the effects of unsustainable fertilization strategies, experiments of the reduction of nitrogen fertilization at 10, 20, and 30% were implemented. In this study, the bacterial responses to the reduction of nitrogen fertilizer were investigated. The bacterial communities of the fertilizer-reducing treatments (D10F, D20F, and D30F) were different from those of the control group (CK). The alpha diversity was significantly increased in D20F compared to that of the CK. The analysis of beta diversity revealed variation of the bacterial communities between fertilizer-reducing treatments and CK, when the clusters of D10F, D20F, and D30F were separated. Chemical fertilizers played dominant roles in changing the bacterial community of D20F. Meanwhile, pH, soil organic matter, and six enzymes (soil sucrase, catalase, polyphenol oxidase, urease, acid phosphatase, and nitrite reductase) were responsible for the variation of the bacterial communities in fertilizer-reducing treatments. Moreover, four of the top 20 genera (unidentified JG30-KF-AS9, JG30-KF-CM45, Streptomyces, and Elsterales) were considered as key bacteria, which contributed to the variation of bacterial communities between fertilizer-reducing treatments and CK. These findings provide a theoretical basis for a fertilizer-reducing strategy in sustainable agriculture, and potentially contribute to the utilization of agricultural resources through screening plant beneficial bacteria from native low-fertility soil.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between the bone marrow fibrous proliferation and the prognosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML). METHODS: The quantitative method was used to analyze the reticulin fiber density (RFD) of AML patients. the bone marrow sections from 39 primary AML patients and 35 normal controls were collected to compare the RFD between these 2 groups. The prognosis value of RFD for AML were estimated by using appropriate statistical analysis. RESULTS: RFD in primary AML was significantly higher than that in normal controls(2.41%±0.23% vs 1.14%±0.06%)(P<0.05). Relapse-free survival(RFS) analysis showed that the patients with RFD more than 1.68% indicated poor RFS, and the overall survival(OS) analysis showed that patients with RFD more than 2.66% indicated poor overall survival (P<0.05). Besides, there were no relationship between RFD and the BM blast count (r=0.01) and WBC counts (r=0.04) at diagnosis(P>0.05). CONCLUSION: The RFD in bone marrow is a high risk factor in poor prognosis of AML patients.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of electronspun PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds on the repair of cartilage defects. METHODS: The PLGA/HAp/Zein composite scaffolds were fabricated by electrospinning method. The physiochemical properties and biocompatibility of the scaffolds were separately characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) culture and animal experiments. RESULTS: The prepared PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds showed fibrous structure with homogenous distribution. hUC-MSCs could attach to and grow well on PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds, and there was no significant difference between cell proliferation on scaffolds and that without scaffolds (P>0.05). The PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds possessed excellent ability to promote in vivo cartilage formation. Moreover, there was a large amount of immature chondrocytes and matrix with cartilage lacuna on PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds. CONCLUSION: The data suggest that the PLGA/HAp/Zein scaffolds possess good biocompatibility, which are anticipated to be potentially applied in cartilage tissue engineering and reconstruction.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Sepsis remains a serious clinical problem because of high morbidity and mortality. The importance of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) for the induction of immune responses against sepsis was demonstrated in humans. The present study aimed to probe the gene polymorphisms of TLR4 (Asp299Gly and Thr399Ile) and TLR2 (Arg753Gln) in patients with sepsis among Chinese Han children in Wenzhou, and investigate the correlation with sepsis. METHOD: This study was conducted as a case-control study. Using polymerase chain reaction and DNA sequencing, gene polymorphisms of TLR4 (Asp299Gly and Thr399Ile) and TLR2 (Arg753Gln) in 59 children with sepsis, 38 children with severe sepsis (including 20 septic shock) and 57 healthy controls were analyzed. Hardy-Weinberg method of statistics was used to compare the frequency of genotypes alleles among three groups. RESULT: The mutant genotypes of TLR4 gene (Asp299Gly and Thr399Ile) were not found among sepsis, septic shock and control groups. In severe sepsis group, the Arg753Gln TLR2 polymorphism occurred in 2 out of 38 severe sepsis patients and both of the subjects with the TLR2 Arg753Gln polymorphism had fatal staphylococcal infections. CONCLUSION: TLR4 gene (Asp299Gly and Thr399Ile) polymorphisms may not be correlated with susceptibility to sepsis among Chinese Han children in Wenzhou. The fact that only 2 out of 38 severe sepsis patients had Arg753Gln TLR2 polymorphism suggests that a larger sample size is needed because of the rarity of the TLR2 allele among Chinese Han children in Wenzhou.

RESUMO

In the title compound, [Zn(NO(3))(2)(C(20)H(18)N(4))](n), the Zn(II) atom lies on a crystallographic twofold axis and the coordination geometry can be considered as a slightly distorted tetra-hedron defined by two O atoms from two nitrate groups and two N atoms from two ligand mol-ecules. A distorted octa-hedron may be assumed when two of the symmetry-related nitrate O atoms, with Zn-O distances of 2.528 (2) Å, are added to the coordination environment. Another twofold axis, passing through the middle of the biphenyl bonds, is observed in the crystal structure. A chain along [101] is built up by the ligands linking the Zn(II) ions.
