RESUMO

The synthesis of asymmetric meso-aryl-substituted porphyrins containing three 4-methoxycarbonylphenyl groups, and as a forth substituent 4-hydroxyphenyl or 4-hydroxy-3- methoxyphenyl radicals, or the isomeric 3- and 4-pyridyl substituents is described. O-alkyl derivatives of 4-hydroxyl residue are obtained. The ytterbium complexes ofthese porphyrins were synthesized and studied their luminescence spectral properties were studied. A significant difference in the lifetimes of the excited state ofytterbium complexes of esters and acids of asymmetric porphyrins is demonstrated.

RESUMO

Chronic experiments in anesthetized monkeys showed that pathways from the preganglionic branches of the ganglion (the lumbar splanchnic nerves) to the postganglionic branches were represented by fibers with different conduction velocity which ran through the ganglion without interruption. These pathways are, probably, the afferents or fibers of postganglionic sympathetic neurons. In addition, synaptically contacting pathways are present. All peripheral nerves of the ganglion are connected with each other through synaptically contacting pathways. The preganglionic branches (the lumbar splanchnic nerves, intermesenteric tract) are the independent channels without tracts connecting them. The proper reflexes related to the function of the pelvic organs are assumed to be actualized by the fibers of the reflex are closed in the ganglion. The scheme of conducting pathways of the ganglion in monkeys is presented.

RESUMO

Stimulation of the intermesenteric tract induced a biphasic response in left and right colonic nerves. In splanchnic nerves, the response had three peaks two of them being conducted by fibers passing through the ganglia. The third component disappeared at 30--40/sec stimulation and in antidromic stimulation. The projections from limbar splanchnic nerves to postganlionic trunks were characterized by one more stable potential with great latency due, probably to interneurons. A scheme of the ganglion pathways has been composed.

RESUMO

In vivo perfusions with methylene blue of the cat's caudal mesenteric sympathetic ganglion gradually suppresses transmission in the ganglion, measured as an increase in latency and a decrease in amplitude of the compound action potentials in the postganglionic fibres.
