Water/oil interfacial behaviors of soy hull polysaccharide revealed by molecular dynamics simulation and particle tracking microrheology.

The soy hull polysaccharide (SHP) exhibits excellent interfacial activity and holds potential as an emulsifier for emulsions. To reveal the behavior of SHP at the water/oil (W/O) interface in situ, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and particle tracking microrheology were used in this study. The results of MD reveal that SHP molecular spontaneously move toward the interface and rhamnogalacturonan-I initiates this movement, while its galacturonic acids on it act as anchors to immobilize the SHP molecules at the W/O interface. Microrheology results suggest that SHP forms microgels at the W/O interface, with the lattices of the microgels continually undergoing dynamic changes. At low concentrations of SHP and short interfacial formation time, the network of the microgels is weak and dominated by viscous properties. However, when SHP reaches 0.75 % and the interfacial formation time is about 60 min, the microgels show perfect elasticity, which is beneficial for stabilizing emulsions.

Review and prospect of immune checkpoint blockade therapy represented by PD-1/PD-L1 in the treatment of clear cell renal cell carcinoma.

As a common tumor of the urinary system, the morbidity and mortality related to renal carcinoma, are increasing annually. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC) is the most common subtype of renal cell carcinoma, accounting for approximately 75% of the total number of patients with renal cell carcinoma. Currently, the clinical treatment of ccRCC involves targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and a combination of the two. In immunotherapy, PD-1/PD-L1 blocking of activated T cells to kill cancer cells is the most common treatment. However, as treatment progresses, some patients gradually develop resistance to immunotherapy. Meanwhile, other patients experience great side effects after immunotherapy, resulting in a survival status far lower than the expected survival rate. Based on these clinical problems, many researchers have been working on the improvement of tumor immunotherapy in recent years and have accumulated numerous research results. We hope to find a more suitable direction for future immunotherapy for ccRCC by combining these results and the latest research progress.

A Novel Blockchain-Enabled Supply-Chain Management Framework for Xinjiang Jujube: Research on Optimized Blockchain Considering Private Transactions.

Excellent jujube supply-chain management is of great significance to the development of the Xinjiang jujube industry. However, traditional jujube supply-chain management is faced with the dilemmas of opaque connection of transaction flow and capital flow information, unreliable product traceability information, and jujube farmers' lack of bargaining power. In this research, we propose a jujube supply-chain-management framework based on blockchain. Hyperledger fabric is the distributed solution platform of this research. The current blockchain-based traceability framework for agri-food emphasizes the construction process and ignores the performance and characteristics of the framework. This research optimizes the blockchain-network-topology architecture and storage cost of writing data. This not only solves the traceability of jujube, but also fills the gap in previous research on the traceability framework. Moreover, transactions are innovatively divided into common transactions and private transactions. Private transactions have enhanced the bargaining power of jujube farmers. Through the analysis of benchmark tests, the effectiveness and feasibility of the framework are verified.
