RESUMO

In this paper, a 1:21 model experiment was conducted to discuss the dust diffusion efficiency and liner trolley obstruction effect inside the tunnel at - 9% to 9%, the effect of different initial dust concentrations on dust diffusion and liner trolley obstruction effect at 6% slope, and the effect of different return air velocity on dust diffusion at 6% slope, the reliability of the results is verified by computational fluid dynamics simulations. The results show that as the slope of the tunnel changes from 0 to - 9%, the average dust diffusion time decreases by 3.7% at the working face and the dust concentration difference between the front and rear of the trolley is improved by 2.7%. When the slope of the tunnel changes from 0 to - 9%, the average dust diffusion time increases by 7.2% at the working face and the dust concentration difference between the front and rear of the trolley is improved by 17.9%. With each 100 mg/m3 increase in the initial dust concentration, the dust diffusion time at the working face and the tunnel exit increases by 9.15% and 8.17% on average, and the lining trolley obstruction time increases by 23.33 s on average. The dust diffusion times take an average reduction rate of 15.7%, with the increase of return air velocity. The recommended return air velocity is greater than 1 m/s for large slope tunnels. When the slope changes from 0° to 9°, the hindrance rate of slope on dust diffusion is 2.88462%, 8.65385%, and 16.34615% respectively. Dust diffusion efficiency will be reduced as the tunnel slope changes from 0° to 9°, The growth rate of slope on dust diffusion is - 0.96154%, - 2.88462%, and - 6.73077% respectively.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND/AIMS: Resveratrol (RSV) is a natural polyphenol with strong biological activity that confers a measure of protection against the development of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and the long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) antisense non-coding RNA in the INK4 locus (ANRIL) is closely related to inflammation. The present study determined whether resveratrol attenuated IBD by regulating ANRIL and its specific molecular mechanism. METHODS: In vivo model of IBD was induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS). In total, 60 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 3 groups (normal control - NC, DSS, RSV), and their weight changes, fecal traits, colon length and tissue hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) were observed. Moreover, human colonic epithelial cells (HCoEpiC) treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were used as cell models of IBD. The tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1ß, IL-6, IL-10, lncRNA ANRIL, and miR-34a levels were measured by RT-PCR. The expression of mucin 2 (MUC2) and an enzyme associated with MUC2 synthesis, polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 7 (GALNT7), was measured by RT-PCR and western blot analysis. RESULTS: Resveratrol treatment mitigated colitis by significantly decreasing the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (i.e. TNF-α, IL-1ß, IL-6) and miR-34a, and increasing the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokine (i.e. IL-10), MUC2, GLNAT7, and lncRNA ANRIL in mice and HCoEpiC (all P<0.05). The elevated synthesis of MUC2 could be attributed to the ANRIL-miR-34a axis. CONCLUSIONS: Resveratrol attenuates IBD by promoting MUC2 synthesis via the ANRIL-miR-34a axis.

RESUMO

Three-dimensional (3D) printing has been widely utilized to fabricate free-standing electrodes in energy-related fields. In terms of fabrication, the two most challenging limitations of 3D printed electrodes are the poor printing resolution and simple structural dimension. Here we proposed a novel process to fabricate molybdenum disulfide-polyvinylidene fluoride (MoS2-PVDF) hierarchical electrodes for energy storage applications. The 20-layer microscale PVDF films with a stable fiber width of 8.3 ± 1.2 µm were fabricated by using electrohydrodynamic (EHD) printing. MoS2 nanostructures were synthesized and assembled on the microscale PVDF fibers by using hydrothermal crystal growth. The structural and material investigations were conducted to demonstrate the geometrical morphology and materials component of the composite structure. The electrochemical measurements indicated that the MoS2-PVDF electrodes exhibited the typical charge-discharge performance with a mass specific capacitance of 60.2 ± 4.5 F/g. The proposed method offers a facile and scalable approach for the fabrication of high-resolution electrodes, which might be further developed with enhanced specific capacitance in energy storage fields.

RESUMO

To analyze the evaluation of artificial intelligence algorithm combined with gastric computed tomography (CT) image in clinical chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer, 112 patients with advanced gastric cancer were selected as the research object. Among which, 56 patients in the experimental group received paclitaxel (PTX) combined with decitabine sequential decitabine maintenance therapy. Fifty-six patients in the control group received first-line treatment with decitabine combined with cisplatin. The image segmentation algorithm based on fast interactive dictionary selection was used to process gastric CT images. Complete response (CR), partial response (PR), stable disease (SD), progressive disease (PD), response rate (RR), disease control rate (DCR), and overall survival (OS) after treatment were recorded. The true-positive rate (TPR) and coincidence ratio (CR) of the proposed algorithm for image segmentation were significantly higher than those of the mean shift algorithm and the iCoseg algorithm. The mean edge distance (MED) and edge distance variance (EDV) were significantly lower than the mean shift algorithm and the iCoseg algorithm, and the differences were considerable (P < 0.05). The number of CR (5 cases), PR (13 cases), RR (18 cases), and DCR (44 cases) in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, while the number of PD (12 cases) was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The number of patients complicated with hematological toxicity, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, and digestive tract reaction in the experimental group was less than that in the control group (P < 0.05). From the comparison of long-term efficacy, the survival rate of patients in both groups showed a decreasing trend within 24 months, but the decreasing trend of survival rate of patients in the experimental group was better than that in the control group. In short, the proposed algorithm had better segmentation performance than traditional algorithms. Compared with first-line treatment with decitabine and cisplatin, PTX in combination with decitabine sequential citabine maintenance regimens had better disease control rates, lower toxicity, and more effective improvements in patient quality of life and longer survival in patients with advanced gastric cancer.

RESUMO

Gastric cancer (GC) remains a leading cause of cancerassociated mortality globally. Emerging evidence suggests that microRNAs (miRs) function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors, contributing to various aspects of cancer progression, including invasion and metastasis. In the present study, the specific role of miR2993p in the invasion of GC cells was investigated. The expression level of miR2993p was measured using reverse transcriptionquantitative PCR and in situ hybridization in human GC tissues. Effects of miR2993p on GC cell invasion were determined by Transwell assay. Bioinformatics and luciferase reporter assays were performed to identify and verify the downstream effectors of miR2993p. miR2993p expression analysis in clinical GC samples revealed a significant downregulation of miR2993p compared with nontumor tissues. Inhibition of miR2993p promoted the invasive abilities of GC cells, whereas its overexpression significantly suppressed cell invasion. Bioinformatics and luciferase reporter assays identified heparanase (HPSE) as a direct target of miR2993p, the ectopic expression of which reversed the impairment in cell invasion induced by miR2993p upregulation. Furthermore, HPSE expression was negatively associated with miR2993p levels in human GC tissues. Overall, the present study indicated that miR2993p functions as a tumor suppressor by directly targeting HPSE, highlighting its potential as a target for the treatment of GC.
