[Diagnostic difficulties in spontaneous rupture of the urinary bladder]. / Trudnosci rozpoznawcze w samoistnym peknieciu pecherza moczowego.

A 63-year-old female patient is described with spontaneous rupture of the urinary bladder who was admitted to hospital with signs of diffuse peritonitis. During surgical operation the site of perforation could not be found, and only inflammatory infiltration of the urinary bladder and surrounding tissues was observed. Cystography carried out after the operation revealed the site of perforation only after six hours from the administration of contrast medium. It was sutured during secondary operation. The postoperative course was uncomplicated.

The authors presented the two sides craniofacial method in surgical intervention of nasal and paranasal sinus cancers. The detailed indication, technique and complications of this method were also described as well as the own case as an example.

[Use of computer analysis of ENG signals in the study of optokinetic nystagmus]. / Zastosowanie komputerowej analizy sygnalu ENG do badan nad oczoplasem optokinetycznym.

The assessment of optokinetic gain index in 30 healthy volunteers was presented. In quantitative analysis of induced nystagmus the computer elaboration was applied. The usefulness of quantitative analysis was stressed.
