RESUMO

Objective To design an electrical system of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter for children and adults uses. Methods The shock wave kernel parameters of child energy section of Dornier Delta Ⅱ lithotripter were tested such as peak sound pressure, pressure pulse width and pressure pulse rise time, and then energy calibration was executed for HK.ESWL008 child extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter to make the kernel parameters of the two lithotripters the same or similar to each other. An electrical system was designed with PLC system as the core control unit, involving in wave source 3D motion, large and small C-arms motion, water circulation system,B-type ultrasound positioning system,high-frequency X-ray imaging system,high-voltage condenser charging and discharging system, console and bedside-box-controlled display system as well as electromagnetic compatibility. Results Within A,B,C,1 and 2 energy sections for child lithotripsy the maximum and average differences between the kernel parameters of the two lithotripters were 7.1% and 3.8% respectively. There was no difference between the clinical experience by the two lithotripters, and HK.ESWL-008 child extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter passed EMC and safety detections by Guangdong Medical Devices Quality Surveillance and Test Institute of CFDA.Conclusion HK.ESWL-008 child extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter can be used for children lithotripsy clinically.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the status of disease stigma among patients with cervical cancer and explore the influencing factors. Method Two hundred and six patients with cervical cancer participated in the study by the social impact scale (SIS) and general information questionnaire and the relevant factors were analyzed. Results The average score of SIS was (68.04 ± 17.36). The influencing factors included the following factors age, marriage, income, profession, education and disease course (P<0.05). Conclusions The stigma in patients with cervical cancer is at a higher level and the influencing factors are diverse. It is significant to relieve their stigma and better their quality of life by strengthening psychological intervention and health instruction and establishing social support system.

RESUMO

A convenient and rapid HPLC method was developed for the determination of clinofibrate in human plasma using simple protein precipitation with the mixture of acetonitrile and 1M hydrochloric acid (95:5, v/v) followed by separation using an Inspire C(18) column with isocratic elution. The detection wavelength was 232nm and the flow rate was 1.0ml/min. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and water containing 0.4% ortho-phosphoric acid (73:27, v/v). Linear calibration curve was obtained over the concentrations ranging from 0.5µg/ml to 32µg/ml (r(2)=0.999) with LLOQ of 0.5µg/ml. The RSD in both the intra-run and inter-run precision study was less than 5.4% and the extraction recoveries were above 90.7%. The HPLC method is reproducible and suitable for the quantification of clinofibrate in plasma. This method was successfully applied to the pharmacokinetic studies of clinofibrate in healthy volunteers. The elimination half-lives (t(1/2)) were (20.47±3.44), (18.19±2.62) and (21.51±4.78)h after single oral administration of 200, 400 and 600mg clinofibrate, respectively. The results of WinNonlin software showed that the area under the plasma concentration versus time curve from time 0 to 72h (AUC(0-72)) and peak plasma concentration (C(max)) were linearly related to dose (P>0.05).

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effects of walking training assisted by electromyographic biofeedback (EMGBF) on the lower limb function of subacute stroke patients with foot drop. Methods Forty subacute stroke patients with foot drop were randomly divided into an EMGBF training group (n =20 ) and a routine rehabilitation training group ( n =20 ).Both groups received routine rehabilitation training. The EMGBF training group also received walking training assisted by three stages of EMGBF.The subjects were treated for 40 min twice per day,5 days a week for 6 weeks.Clinical and functional evaluations such as surface electromyogram (sEMG) signals from the anterior tibial muscle, active ankle dorsiflexion range of motion ( AROM ),scores on the modified Ashworth scale (MAS),results of the modified Lovett manual muscle test (mMMT),pace and step length,Berg balance scale (BBS) scores,Fugl-Meyer movement function scale (FMA) assessments, modified Barthel index (MBI) scores and Holden walking function test results were observed before treatment, after 6 weeks of treatment and at follow-up 6 weeks after the end of treatment. Results Before treatment there was no significant difference between the two groups. There were significant differences in all of the assessment results in the EMGBF training group after treatment compared with before treatment and compared with the routine rehabilitation training group after treatment. At followup 6 weeks after training, average pace (69.75 ± 35.09 m/min),step length (60.98 ± 14.09 cm),FMA score (32.5 ± 6.34 ) and MBI score (88.65 ± 14.13 ) in the EMGBF training group were all significantly better than in the routine rehabilitation group. At follow up,5 patients in the EMGBF training group achieved grade 5 in the Holden walking function test versus only 1 patient in the routine rehabilitation group. Conclusion Walking training assisted by EMGBF is effective in improving lower limb motor function in subacute stroke patients with foot drop.

RESUMO

Symmetry, one of the prominent characters of normal human gait, could be destroyed by some special or abnormal factors such as barrier spanning, walking impediment, etc. Therefore, it becomes an important factor used to evaluate qualities and functions of walking. In this paper, the fitts' law based symmetry index calculation is introduced and its application in clinic test is also reported. The results show that the fitts' law based index is effective in clinic evaluation.
