RESUMO

Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) are regarded as promising cathode materials for ammonium-ion batteries (AIBs) because of their low cost and superb theoretical capacity. However, its inherently poor conductivity and structural collapse can significantly limit the enhancement of rate property and cycling stability. In this work, Berlin Green (BG) electrode materials with similar wool-like clusters were constructed by direct precipitation method to accelerate the kinetic, which realizes outstanding cycling stability. Berlin Green with the appropriate amount of iron (BG-2) has a fast ion transport channel, enhanced structure stability, highly reversible insertion/extraction of NH4+, and fine electrochemical reaction activity. Benefiting from the unique architecture and component, the BG-2 electrode shows an excellent rate performance with a discharge/charge specific capacity of 60.1/59.3 mAh g-1 at 5 A g-1. Even at 5 A g-1, BG-2 exhibits remarkable cycling stability with an initial discharge capacity of 59.5 mAh g-1 and a capacity retention rate of approximately 76% after 30,000 cycles. The BG-2 reveals exceedingly good electrochemical reversibility during the process of NH4+ (de)insertion. BG materials indicate huge potential as a cathode material for the next generation of high-performance aqueous batteries.

RESUMO

Ternary transition metal oxides (TMOs) are deemed as promising anode materials of Li-ion batteries (LIBs) owing to their large theoretical capacity and rich redox reaction. Nevertheless, the inherent semiconductor characteristic and enormous volume variation of TMOs during cycling bring about sluggish reaction kinetics, fast capacity fading, and poor rate capability. In this study, three-dimensional (3D) porous CoNiO2@CTP architectures, i.e., CoNiO2 microspheres combined with coal tar pitch-derived porous carbon, were designed and synthesized through a one-step hydrothermal method followed by a heat treatment process for the first time. The microsphere morphology increases the contact area between the anode and electrolyte, shortens the transport distance of Li+ ions, and reduces the agglomeration. The existence of the CTP layer provides rich charge transmission paths, improves the electronic conductivity of CoNiO2 and provides abundant active sites for Li+ storage. Owing to the synergistic effect of porous carbon and microsphere morphology of CoNiO2, the CoNiO2@CTP (10.0 wt%) anode shows remarkable electrochemical performance with a high charge capacity (1437.5 mA h g-1 at 500 mA g-1), good rate performance (839.76 mA h g-1 even at 1 A g-1), and remarkable cycle durability (741.4 mA h g-1 after 1000 cycles at 1 A g-1), which is significantly better than pristine CoNiO2. This study not only provides a simple strategy for high-value utilization of CTP but also offers cost-effective CoNiO2@CTP architectures for high-performance LIBs.

RESUMO

Color split-focal plane polarization imaging systems are composed of image sensors with a color polarization filter array (CPFA). The noise generated during image acquisition leads to incorrect estimation of the color polarization information. Therefore, it is necessary to denoise CPFA image data. In this study, we propose a CPFA block-matching and 3D filtering (CPFA-BM3D) algorithm for CPFA image data. The algorithm makes full use of the correlation between different polarization channels and different color channels, restricts the grouping of similar 2D image blocks to form 3D blocks, and attenuates Gaussian noise in the transform domain. We evaluate the denoising performance of the proposed algorithm using simulated and real CPFA images. Experimental results show that the proposed method significantly suppresses noise while preserving the image details and polarization information. Its peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity (SSIM) indicators are superior to those of the other existing methods. The mean values of the PSNR and SSIM of the degree of linear polarization (DoLP) color images calculated through CPFA image interpolation can be increased to 200% and 400%, respectively, by denoising with the proposed method.

RESUMO

The incidence of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is currently increasing. Early detection is important for the treatment and prognosis of patients with AMI. Heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP) may be used as an early marker of AMI due to its high sensitivity, specificity and prognostic value. Therefore, in the present study, H-FABP was used as a biomarker in a double-antibody sandwich method and colloidal gold-based lateral flow immunoassay to develop a rapid detection kit for H-FABP with a processing time of only 5 min. The sensitivity of the kit in plasma and whole blood was 1 ng/ml and this method had good specificity, exhibiting no cross-reaction with cardiac troponin I, myoglobin or creatine kinase-Mb. The kits had good shelf life and stability, as they were able to be stored at 40˚C for 30 days. A total of 12 clinical samples were collected for detection and the coincidence rate with the ELISA method was up to 91.67%. Therefore, the present study provided a simple, rapid and economical early-detection in-home testing kit.

RESUMO

Global climate change has significantly changed precipitation patterns. Soil respiration (SR), as an important pathway through which CO2 is released from the soil carbon pool into the atmosphere, may affect the carbon cycle process of terrestrial ecosystems and have a feedback effect on global climate change in response to precipitation change. However, at present there is limited understanding of how SR is affected by precipitation change. Field precipitation control experiments were conducted (with -40%, -20%, natural, 20%, and 40% precipitation) on desert grassland in the west of the Loess Plateau, to investigate the influence of precipitation change on SR dynamics and its relationship with soil water content, soil temperature, aboveground biomass, soil organic carbon, microbial biomass carbon, carbon-nitrogen ratio, and other factors. The results show that the diurnal variations of SR under different precipitation treatments were consistent in unimodal and bimodal models over three years. SR showed an increasing trend with added precipitation, relative to the control, and significant differences were observed between the second year (wetter) and the third year (drier) of the precipitation-manipulation experiment, indicating that precipitation changes had a legacy effect on SR. At the same time, SR was lowest under the -40% treatment and highest under the 40% treatment during the wetter year. The negative response of SR to precipitation exclusion treatments was stronger than the positive response to precipitation addition treatments. SR in drier years was significantly higher under precipitation addition treatments than the control, and the positive response of SR to increased precipitation treatment was significantly stronger than that under decreased precipitation treatment. In addition, soil water content, aboveground biomass, soil organic carbon, and carbon-nitrogen ratio were the environmental factors that obviously affected SR and increased with additional precipitation. SR increased with increases in soil water content, aboveground biomass, soil organic carbon, and carbon-nitrogen ratio, but decreased with increases in microbial biomass carbon. Among these factors, soil water content had the highest interpretation rate for SR, indicating that soil water content was the main environmental factor controlling SR in desert grassland. In both wetter and drier years, the amplitude of plant biomass input was lower than the amplitude of SR output under precipitation change, indicating that precipitation change may be unfavorable to soil carbon sequestration, especially in drier years, when precipitation change has a stronger influence on carbon pool output. Therefore, precipitation changes on SR in desert grassland in various dry and wet years may have different influences on the carbon cycle process of ecosystems, thus providing a reference for regional carbon budget assessment.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To determine the clinical features and survival difference of HBV related and Non-HBV related diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and to evaluate the occurrence of HBV reactivation in DLBCL patients and related risk factors for HBV reactivation after R-CHOP therapy. METHODS: A total of 246 patients diagnosed with CD20+ DLBCL were enrolled from June 2010 to June 2015. The medical records and survival data were analysed. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify predictors of HBV reactivation. Survival curves were performed by the Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS: Among patients enrolled, 80 patients were HBsAg sero-positive and 166 patients were HBsAg sero-negative. Findings showed that HBsAg sero-negative patients were significantly older than that of patients with HBsAg sero-positive (P <  0.001). Proportion of B symptom positive patients in HBsAg sero-positive were higher (p = 0.002). Higher LDH level (P = 0.019) and late Ann Arbor stage (P = 0.010) were more often observed in patients with HBsAg sero-positive. The rate of complete response, partial response, stable disease and progress disease in HBsAg sero-negative group were 63.9, 16.9, 1.1 and 18.1%, respective, which is significantly higher than that in HBsAg sero-positive group (36.2, 18.8, 1.2 and 43.8%). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that DLBCL patients with HBsAg sero-negative had better prognosis. In total, 17 patients showed HBV reactivation among 166 patients (10.2%) with HBsAg sero-negative after R-CHOP treatment, while a significant higher HBV reactivation 18.75% (9/48) in HBsAb negative group were observed, with 8.25% (8/97) patients in HBsAb level 10-100 U/mL group, and 0% patients in HBsAb level higher than 100 U/mL group. Multivariable analysis showed that serum HBsAb and serum HBcAb were independent risk factors for HBV reactivation in DLBCL patients. CONCLUSION: Our data revealed that characteristics and prognosis were significantly different between HBV related DLBCL than non-HBV related DLBCL patients. DLBCL patients with resolved hepatitis B are at a higher risk of developing HBV reactivation after R-CHOP chemotherapy compared with HBsAg-negative/HBcAb negative patients.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To study whether chlorambucil has apoptotic effect on the B cell lymphoma A20 cells and its exact mechanisms in apoptotic signaling pathway. METHODS: The experimental cells were treated with 20 µmol/L chlorambucil, the control cells were treated with PBS. Annexin V-FITC Cell Apoptosis Detection Kit was used to examine cell apoptosis. Western blot was used to detect the expressions of active caspase-3, Survivin, NF-κB and pAKT. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR was performed to examine the mRNA expression of Survivin. RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the proportion of FITC+/PI+ apoptotic cells and the expression of active caspase-3 (t=7.384, P=0.000) in the chlorambucil treatment group was significantly elevated. However, the expression of Survivin mRNA (t=4.384, P=0.000), protein expressions of survivin (t=12.360, P=0.000), NF-κB (t=5.462, P=0.000) and pAKT (t=7.183, P=0.000) in the chlorambucil-treated group all significantly decreased. CONCLUSION: The chlorambucil can induce the apoptosis of lymphoma cells, its mechanism may related with inhibition of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, and expression of NF-κB and survivin.

RESUMO

Gibberellic acid (GA3) is an important phytohormone that is applied in agriculture, nurseries, tissue culture, tea gardens, etc. However, it has some drawbacks such as potential hazardous effects on mammals and labile in the condition of a weak base or acid. In this study, the enhanced stability and bioavailability of GA3 were achieved by forming the inclusion complexes of GA3 with cyclodextrins (ß- or γ-CD) and its derivative (HP-ß-CD). In the preliminary plant growth regulation assay, GA3/CDs displays superior bioactivity compared to pure GA3 to help with the early seedling growth of cucumber and mung bean and the root growth of cucumber and mung bean, respectively. The results showed that there was a certain relationship between the inclusion ability, stability and bioactivity. The inclusion stability constants of gibberellin clathrate are consistent with the order of stabilities of the inclusion complex. Among these complexes, GA3/HP-ß-CD possess highest inclusion constant, and the binding ability of the HP-ß-CD not only enhances the stability of gibberellic acid in the stability test but also plays a slow release role in the bioactivity assay. Therefore, the complex of GA3 may be used as a promising plant growth regulator.

RESUMO

A mild oxidative esterification of various aromatic aldehydes by sulfate radical redox system was presented. In the reaction pathway exploration, the transiency of MeOSO3- was disclosed, which was generated from esterification between the in situ generated HSO4- and MeOH, a rate-limiting step in the process. More importantly, the selectivity-controlling step was represented by the subsequent nucleophilic displacement between MeOSO3- and aldehydes. The ionic oxidant 1a ((NH4)2S2O8) with more N-H numbers in the cation, as compared with 1c ((n-Bu4N)2S2O8) and 1d ((PyH)2S2O8), has better performance in the oxidative esterification of aldehydes.

RESUMO

This study aims to investigate effects of HGF expression on biological behaviors of Kasumi-1 and HL60. Expression of HGF and c-Met gene were detected using qRT-PCR. Short hairpin RNA (shRNA) was used to reduce HGF expression. Silencing effect of shRNA was verified by qRT-PCR and western blot. Cell reproductive capacity, cell clonality and cell cycle (apoptosis) were detected by CCK-8, clone formation, flow cytometry (FCM), respectively. Cell adhesion, cell invasion ability and cell proliferation were also examined. Changes of PI3K-AKT, MAPK/ERK signaling factors were detected by western blot. HGF and c-Met expression in first-vist AML group was significantly higher than in AML-relief and normal control group. HGF shRNA can inhibit cell proliferation, inhibit cloning ability. Compared with control group, apoptosis ratios of Kasumi-1 and HL60 cell in interference groups were significantly higher. After shRNA interference, the number of adherent cells and transmembrane cells were significantly decreased compared with control group. Meanwhile, shRNA also down-regulated Bad, Bcl-XL, Bcl-2, CDK1, Cyclin B, MMP2, MMP9, and up-regulated cleaved caspase9, cleaved caspase3, cleaved PARP, Bax, and P21. Moreover, phosphorylated c-Met, AKT, Erk, and mTOR were also reduced. In conclusion, HGF and c-Met gene highly expressed among first-visit AML patients, but decreased after relief treatment. HGF may promote proliferation, invasion, and metastasis of AML cells through PI3K-AKT and MAPK/ERK signaling pathway. Therefore, proliferation and invasion ability of AML cell can be inhibited by down-regulating HGF gene to retardate cell in G2/M stage.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: This study was aimed to detect the expression of HIF-1α in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) except acute promyelocyte leukemia (APL) and investigate the relationship of its expression levels with clinical parameters and prognosis. METHODS: The primary AML cells were collected from peripheral blood of 53 newly diagnosed AML patients by using CD3 negative sorting. The expression of HIF-1α was measured by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (FQ-PCR) , and the relationship between expression level of HIF-1α and clinical parameters (age, sex, WBC count, clinical typing, prognosis) was analysed according to relative expression level. Furthermore, Western blot was used to detect the protein level of HIF-1α in AML patients with or without extramedullary infiltration. RESULTS: The expression level of HIF-1α did not correlate with age, sex, WBC count, Hb level, Plt count and the percentage of blast. There was no significant difference of HIF-1α expression between different AML subtype based on FAB. The higher level of HIF-1α was found in AML patients who did not get complete remission after one or two courses of chemotherapy, however, the difference was not statistically significant. The relapse rate was higher in AML patients with the higher expression of HIF-1α. In addition, the higher level of HIF-1α mRNA and protein were found in bone marrow of AML patients with extramedullary infiltration (P < 0.01). The negative correlation between HIF-1α and PTEN was observed (r = -0.48, P = 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: Overexpression of HIF-1α are closely related with extramedullary infiltration and prognosis of acute myeloid leukemia, and may be used as an early indicator of extramedullary infiltration and prognosis.

RESUMO

In order to improve anti-jamming capability of Michelson interferometer system, replace the traditional structure of the moving mirror scanning was replaced, an interference system based on electro-optic modulation of crystal refractive index was designed to achieve optical path scanning. The system modulated voltage signal on the variable refractive crystal, to generate cyclical changes, changed the refractive index to control optical path difference in the original optical path system. Using electronic scanning to replace of mechanical scanning, improved the system's noise immunity was improved. In the electro-optic modulation process, computed the maximum optical path difference of the system was computed, and analyzed of the crystal thickness and crystal diffraction efficiency of the modulation process were analyzed. The simulation experiment shows that, with the modulation voltage range increasing, the available range of the optical path is also increased, and the system spectrum resolving power will also increase accordingly. Meanwhile, in the modulation process set the modulation range was set to make the energy of diffraction energy losses less than 10% of the total energy, so as to ensure a better signal to noise ratio. Experimental results show that, as the modulation voltage changes, interference fringes occurred continuously moved. When the voltage is further increased, the nonlinear error appears. After non-linear error correction for the system, spectrum resolution reached to 7. 2 cm-1, slightly lower than the original system. But its anti-jamming capability is greatly enhanced, as in the absence of experimental platform for seismic conditions, conventional interferometer relative error is more than 20%, while the relative error of the system is less than 5%, in line with the design requirements. It was proved that the anti-jamming capability of the system was enhanced greatly, when the static electro-optical modulation was used.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To obtain the exposure-response relationship for temperature and mortality, and assess the risk of heat-related premature death. METHODS: A statistical model was developed using a Poisson generalized linear regression model with Beijing mortality and temperature data from October 1st, 2006 to September 30th, 2008. We calculated the exposure-response relationship for temperature and mortality in the central city, and inner suburban and outer suburban regions. Based on this relationship, a health risk model was used to assess the risk of heat-related premature death in the summer (June to August) of 2009. RESULTS: The population in the outer suburbs had the highest temperature-related mortality risk. People in the central city had a mid-range risk, while people in the inner suburbs had the lowest risk. Risk assessment predicted that the number of heat-related premature deaths in the summer of 2009 was 1581. The city areas of Chaoyang and Haidian districts had the highest number of premature deaths. The number of premature deaths in the southern areas of Beijing (Fangshan, Fengtai, Daxing, and Tongzhou districts) was in the mid-range. CONCLUSION: Ambient temperature significantly affects human mortality in Beijing. People in the city and outer suburban area have a higher temperature-related mortality risk than people in the inner suburban area. This may be explained by a temperature-related vulnerability.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe and compare the influence of acupoint sticking therapy in dog days and in non-dog days to the quality of life of allergic rhinitis patients. METHODS: Fifty-five cases were divided into group A (the acupoint sticking therapy in dog days group, 28 cases) and group B (the acupoint sticking therapy in non-dog day group, 27 cases) randomly. The acupoint sticking therapy description (Dazhui (GV 14), Fengmen (BL 12), Feishu (BL 13) etc. was used in both groups. Five times of acupoint sticking therapy were given to patients in group A during dog days in 2010, while another 5 times of acupoint sticking therapy were given to patients in group B before the dog days. The Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) was used to evaluate the effects before, after and half a year after treatment. RESULTS: The scores of behavior problems, nasal symptoms and quality of life in RQLQ of both groups all decreased after treatment (all P < 0.01). The score of emotion reaction of group A in the follow-up period decreased compared with that before treatment (P < 0.05). The scores of non-nasal-or-ocular symptoms, ocular symptoms and emotion reaction after treatment and in the follow-up period all decreased than those before treatment (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). The decreasing degrees of scores of non-nasal-or-ocular symptoms, ocular symptoms, emotion reaction and quality of life after treatment and in the follow-up period in group A were all greater than those in group B (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: In the same season, both acupoint sticking therapy in dog days and in non-dog dags can improve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, but the improving degree to quality of life in the method of acupoint sticking in dog days is greater.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To project the future impacts of climate change on heat-related mortality in shanghai. METHODS: The statistical downscaling techniques were applied to simulate the daily mean temperatures of Shanghai in the middle and farther future under the changing climate. Based on the published exposure-reaction relationship of temperature and mortality in Shanghai, we projected the heat-related mortality in the middle and farther future under the circumstance of high speed increase of carbon e mission (A2) and low speed increase of carbon emission (B2). The data of 1961 to 1990 was used to establish the model, and the data of 1991 - 2001 was used to testify the model, and then the daily mean temperature from 2030 to 2059 and from 2070 to 2099 were simulated and the heat-related mortality was projected. The data resources were from U.S. National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), U.S. National Centers for Environmental Prediction Reanalysis Data in SDSM Website and UK Hadley Centre Coupled Model Data in SDSM Website. RESULTS: The explained variance and the standard error of the established model was separately 98.1% and 1.24°C. The R(2) value of the simulated trend line equaled to 0.978 in Shanghai, as testified by the model. Therefore, the temperature prediction model simulated daily mean temperatures well. Under A2 scenario, the daily mean temperature in 2030 - 2059 and 2070 - 2099 were projected to be 17.9°C and 20.4°C, respectively, increasing by 1.1°C and 3.6°C when compared to baseline period (16.8°C). Under B2 scenario, the daily mean temperature in 2030 - 2059 and 2070 - 2099 were projected to be 17.8°C and 19.1°C, respectively, increasing by 1.0°C and 2.3°C when compared to baseline period (16.8°C). Under A2 scenario, annual average heat-related mortality were projected to be 516 cases and 1191 cases in 2030 - 2059 and 2070 - 2099, respectively, increasing 53.6% and 254.5% when compared with baseline period (336 cases). Under B2 scenario, annual average heat-related mortality were projected to be 498 cases and 832 cases in 2030 - 2059 and 2070 - 2099, respectively, increasing 48.2% and 147.6% when compared with baseline period (336 cases). CONCLUSION: Under the changing climate, heat-related mortality is projected to increase in the future;and the increase will be more obvious in year 2070 - 2099 than in year 2030 - 2059.
