RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The growing number of breast cancer patients in Iran, following the lower referrals of women to screening centers after the outbreak of the COVID-19, suggests the need for designing virtual educational interventions to teach self-care methods to women. The aim of this study is to design a virtual training program for the prevention of breast cancer in women based on the steps of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) educational design model. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This developmental study will be conducted based on the steps of the ADDIE model. In the first step (analysis), a qualitative study, literature review, and a panel of experts will be conducted to analyze the situation (learners, content, platforms, and media for the electronic presentation of the program). In the design step, the learning objectives, educational strategies, and the way of program's implementation and evaluation will be specified. In the third step, not only are the content, storyboard, and educational program developed, but the pilot study is also conducted and formative assessment is performed. In the fourth step, the program will be provided to the audience and will be implemented as a preliminary program. In the final step, the final virtual education program for the prevention of breast cancer in women will be presented based on the results of the evaluation. CONCLUSIONS: Using a comprehensive and systematic educational design model can be a step toward making changes and encouraging innovations in breast cancer prevention education programs in women based on virtual education. Given the existing needs and conditions, this program can promote cancer preventive behaviors as much as possible, reduce the costs imposed on the family and healthcare systems, and lower the complications and mortality rate caused by the delayed diagnosis of the disease.

RESUMO

Curcumin (CUR) has been considered a potential therapeutic agent for allergic reactions due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Nanofibers have attracted increasing attention in drug delivery. The aim of this study was to investigate the combined therapeutic effects of curcumin and allergen in nanofiber-based treatments in order to increase the effectiveness of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) efficacy in a mouse model of allergic rhinitis. Nanofibers containing CUR (1.25% and 2.5%) and ovalbumin 2% (OVA) as an allergen were prepared via electrospinning and characterized. BALB/c mice were sensitized with OVA to the induced allergic rhinitis model. SLIT with free and/or nanofibers was carried out. IL-4, INF-γ, and IgE serum levels were measured using ELISA. Splenocyte proliferation was evaluated by the MTT assay. Lung and nasal histological examinations and nasal lavage fluid (NALF) cell counting were carried out. Nanofibers containing 1.25% CUR and 2% OVA were chosen as the optimal formulations. SLIT treatment with the CUR and OVA nanofiber co-administration led to a significantly decreased serum IgE. Nanofiber containing 2.5 µg of CUR/mouse combined with OVA nanofiber showed a significant decrease in IL-4 and an increase in IFN-γ compared to other groups. NALF assessment showed a significant decrease in specific cell and eosinophil counts in the treated nanofiber groups. The histopathological results of NAL in the optimal formulations were near normal, with diminished cellular infiltration and inflammation. Our findings suggest that co-sublingual administration of allergen and CUR nanofibers can be considered as potential immunomodulatory agents.

RESUMO

This research aimed to develop, optimize, and evaluate a new antifungal nanoemulsion system based on the crude reuterin-synergistic essential oils (EOs) hybrid to overcome the EOs application limits. At first, the antifungal effects of the Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus reuteri cell-free extracts (CFE) were tested against the Botrytis cinerea, Penicillium expansum, and Alternaria alternata as indicator fungus using broth microdilution method. The L. reuteri CFE with the MIC of 125 µL/mL for B. cinerea and 250 µL/mL for P. expansum and A. alternata showed more inhibitory effects than L. plantarum. Next, reuterin as a significant antibacterial compound in the L. reuteri CFE was induced in glycerol-containing culture media. To reach a nanoemulsion with maximum antifungal activity and stability, the reuterin concentration, Tween 80 %, and ultrasound time were optimized using response surface methodology (RSM) with a volumetric constant ratio of 5 % v/v oil phase including triple synergistic EOs (thyme, cinnamon, and rosemary) at MIC concentrations. Based on the Box-Behnken Design, the maximum antifungal effect was observed in the treatment with 40 mM reuterin, 1 % Tween 80, and 3 min of ultrasound. The growth inhibitory diameter zones of B. cinerea, P. expansum, and A. alternata were estimated 6.15, 4.25, and 4.35 cm in optimum nanoemulsion, respectively. Also, the minimum average particle size diameter (16.3 nm) was observed in nanoemulsion with reuterin 40 mM, Tween 80 5 %, and 3 min of ultrasound treatment. Zeta potential was relatively high within -30 mV range in all designed nanoemulsions which indicates the nanoemulsion's stability. Also, the prepared nanoemulsions, despite initial particle size showed good stability in a 90-d storage period at 25 °C. In vivo assay, showed a significant improvement in the protection of apple fruit treated with reuterin-EOs nanoemulsions against fungal spoilage compared to free reuterin nanoemulsion. Treatment of apples with nanoemulsion containing 40 mM reuterin showed a maximum inhibitory effect on B. cinerea (5.1 mm lesion diameter compared to 29.2 mm for control fruit) within 7 d at 25 °C. In summary, the present study demonstrated that reuterin-synergistic EOs hybrid with boosted antifungal activities can be considered as a biopreservative for food applications.

RESUMO

Skin is the largest organ of the human body functioning as a great primitive defensive barrier against different harmful environmental factors. However, it is damaged through varying injuries such as different wounds, burns, and skin cancers that cause disruption in internal organs and essential mechanisms of the body through inflammation, oxidation, coagulation problems, infection, etc. Melatonin is the major hormone of the pineal gland that is also effective in skin disorders due to strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory features with additional desirable antiapoptotic, anti-cancer, and antibiotic properties. However, melatonin characteristics require improvements due to its limited water solubility, halflife and stability. The application of nanocarrier systems can improve its solubility, permeability, and efficiency, as well as inhibit its degradation and promote photostability. Our main purpose in the current review is to explore the possible role of melatonin and melatonin-containing nanocarriers in skin disorders focused on wounds. Additionally, melatonin's effect in regenerative medicine and its structures as a wound dressing in skin damage has been considered.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Endometriosis is a chronic disease affecting 6-10% of women worldwide. Sexual dysfunction has been reported in a significant percentage of these patients. Thus, the present study will be conducted to design, implement, and determine the effectiveness of an interventional program to improve the sexual function of women with endometriosis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This mixed-methods study will be carried out in three phases with a sequential exploratory approach. In the first phase (qualitative study) participants will be selected by purposive sampling in Isfahan, Iran. The data will be collected through in-depth interviews and field notes and analyzed using conventional content analysis. The interventional program will be designed in the second phase based on the results of the qualitative study and literature review and using the Delphi method and panel of experts. The interventional program will be implemented at the individual level in the third phase to investigate its effect on improving women's sexual function. This phase includes quasi-experimental research, in which the pre- and post-intervention data will be collected from the intervention and control groups using the FSFI questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Ultimately, a suitable interventional program will be presented by combining the data obtained in the qualitative and quantitative phases of the research. CONCLUSION: Conducting the present study, along with the design and implementation of an appropriate, native, and culturally sensitive interventional program, can contribute to improving the sexual function of women with endometriosis and enhancing the quality of sexual relations between couples.

Endometriosis is a chronic disease in women of reproductive age. The negative impact of endometriosis on intimate relationships and sexual function has been reported in a significant number of women with this disease. The results of this study offer a rich source of information for the required interventions to promote the sexual and reproductive health of women with endometriosis. This study is a sequential exploratory (qualitativequantitative) mixed methods design that consists of three consecutive phases. In this study, following a qualitative approach, the researchers will explain the experiences of women with endometriosis of sexual function and the appropriate strategies to improve the sexual function of these women. In the second phase, the researcher will design an appropriate interventional program for to improving the sexual function of women with endometriosis by using the results of the qualitative phase and literature reviews. The purposed interventional program is designed using the Delphi method and panel of experts and will be finalized for execution. In the third stage, the effectiveness of interventional program on the sexual function of women with endometriosis will be investigated in a quasi-experimental study. Therefore, it is expected that conducting a mixed method study by presenting an interventional culturally sensitive program can contribute to improving the sexual function of women with endometriosis and enhancing the quality of sexual relations between couples.

RESUMO

Background: Non-adherence to treatments increases the rates of hemodialysis complications, hospitalization, and mortality. One strategy for adherence improvement is peer education. This study aimed to investigate the effects of peer education on treatment adherence among patients receiving hemodialysis. Materials and Methods: This was a randomized controlled trial. Patients in the control group were provided just with routine care, and the intervention group received peer education. Treatment adherence was assessed both before and after the intervention via the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Adherence Questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted by the Chi-square, the Mann-Whitney U, the paired-sample t, and the independent-sample t tests. Results: There were no significant between-group differences in terms of the pre-test mean scores of Adherence to regular attendance at hemodialysis sessions (t = 0.19, p = 0.85), Adherence to the prescribed medications (t = 0.46, p = 0.64), and Adherence to fluid restrictions (t = 0.24, p = 0.81). The same finding was observed after the intervention, except for the mean score of the adherence to fluid restrictions dimension which was significantly greater in the intervention group (t = 2.86, p = 0.006). Moreover, no significant changes were observed in the mean scores of treatment adherence dimensions in the control group. However, in the intervention group, the mean scores of the adherence to regular attendance at hemodialysis sessions (t = 3.79, p < 0.001) and the adherence to fluid restrictions dimensions were significantly greater than their pre-test values (t = 4.47, p < 0.001). Conclusions: Education by peer groups improves the compliance of patients with regard to the consumption of fluids in the interval between two dialysis sessions.

RESUMO

Epidermoid and dermoid cysts are benign tumors lined by stratified squamous epithelium. Any region of the body that is covered by squamous epithelium has the potential ability to develop them. Herein, we reported two rare cases with benign cystic teratoma at unusual sites in the genital system. The first case was a 29-year-old G1P1L1 female admitted in our center with pelvic pain 2 months ago. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a mass in the posterior cul-de-sac with severe fat content. The patient underwent laparoscopy. Histopathological study of the removed mass showed a dermoid cyst. The second patient was a 35-year-old G3L1Ab2 female who was admitted to our clinic with the chief complaint of abnormal uterine bleeding since one year ago. The ultrasonography represents a hyperecho 65 × 27 mm mass lesion in the endometrial canal progressing toward cervical canal. After laparotomy, a degenerated myoma was resected. Surprisingly, histopathological study of the removed mass showed a mature cystic teratoma. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first study which reports cystic teratomas in the cervix region.

RESUMO

Pythium oligandrum is a soil-borne oomycete associated with rhizosphere and root tissues. Its ability to enhance plant growth, stimulate plant immunity and parasitize fungal and oomycete preys has led to the development of agricultural biocontrol products. Meanwhile, the effect of P. oligandrum on mutualistic interactions and more generally on root microbial communities has not been investigated. Here, we developed a biological system comprising P. oligandrum interacting with two legume plants, Medicago truncatula and Pisum sativum. P. oligandrum activity was investigated at the transcriptomics level through an RNAseq approach, metabolomics and finally metagenomics to investigate the impact of P. oligandrum on root microbiota. We found that P. oligandrum promotes plant growth in these two species and protects them against infection by the oomycete Aphanomyces euteiches, a devastating legume root pathogen. In addition, P. oligandrum up-regulated more than 1000 genes in M. truncatula roots including genes involved in plant defense and notably in the biosynthesis of antimicrobial compounds and validated the enhanced production of M. truncatula phytoalexins, medicarpin and formononetin. Despite this activation of plant immunity, we found that root colonization by P. oligandrum did not impaired symbiotic interactions, promoting the formation of large and multilobed symbiotic nodules with Ensifer meliloti and did not negatively affect the formation of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis. Finally, metagenomic analyses showed the oomycete modifies the composition of fungal and bacterial communities. Together, our results provide novel insights regarding the involvement of P. oligandrum in the functioning of plant root microbiota.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVES: Thermoregulation is important for all age groups, and in neonates, it is considered a crucial event to adapt to extrauterine life. Therefore, using systems that provide frequent reminders in different ways in the field of thermoregulation can help thermal stability in neonates. The present study aimed to develop, implement, and evaluate a neonatal thermoregulation decision support system (DSS) as a web application. METHODS: The present research was a multi-method study because it included the three phases of development, implementation, and evaluation of the neonatal thermoregulation decision support web application. In the system designing phase, the waterfall model is used. The second and third phases of the study, implementation, and evaluation, were conducted as a quasi-experimental study. RESULTS: The results of this study were presented in two parts: the developed web application, and the results of the evaluation of the web application. The results of the statistical tests revealed that the use of the web application had a positive and significant effect on both the adjustment of the temperature of the incubator (maintaining the neutral temperature) and the maintenance of the temperature of the neonate's body (p = 0.000). CONCLUSIONS: These results indicate that a nurse's sensitization and guidance with a neonatal thermoregulation decision support system can help to effectively neonate thermoregulation and the nurse has brought the temperature care close to the standard care based on the conditions of each neonate.

RESUMO

HER2 is an important prognostic marker in breast cancer (BC) patients, which also plays a crucial role in their therapeutic plan. Consequently, a great desire is to thoroughly assess the patients based on their HER2 status. In the current study, we aimed to evaluate HER2-low breast cancer as a new subtype in the standard classification of BC patients and review its characteristics and survival rate in a tertiary center in Iran. We retrospectively evaluated disease-free survival (DFS), overall survival (OS), and clinicopathological characteristics of BC patients referred to the Cancer Research Center in Tehran, Iran from 1991 to 2022. Patients' clinical characteristics, including HER2 status, which is classified as HER2-low, HER2-positive, or HER2-negative, were obtained from prospectively maintained registries. Among the total 3582 recruited patients, 60.2%, 13.6%, and 26.2% were HER2-negative, HER2-low, and HER2-positive, respectively. HER2-positive patients showed a significantly higher Hazard Ratio (HR) for DFS (HR 1.44, 95% CI 1.01-2.05) and OS (HR 2.05, 95% CI 1.31-3.20), compared to HER2-low. Moreover, HER2-low and HER2-negative were found to show the same proportion of high-grade tumors (28 and 28.4%), while 40% of the HER2-positive tumors were high-grade. Accordingly, HER2-low patients had a lower metastasis risk than the others (P-value = 0.01). The Ki67 percentage was significantly lower in the HER2-low group compared to the HER2-positive (P-value < 0.001). HER2-low, a new subtype of HER2-status classification with distinct biological and clinicopathological traits, represented the highest survival rate and less invasive characteristics. This difference was statistically significant when compared to HER2-positive, but not when compared to HER2-negative.Research registration unique identifying number: NCT05754047.

RESUMO

Rapid advancement in genome editing technologies has provided new promises for treating neoplasia, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, and monogenic disorders. Recently, the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 (Cas9) system has emerged as a powerful gene editing tool offering advantages, including high editing efficiency and low cost over the conventional approaches. Human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), with their great proliferation and differentiation potential into different cell types, have been exploited in stem cell-based therapy. The potential of hPSCs and the capabilities of CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing has been paradigm-shifting in medical genetics for over two decades. Since hPSCs are categorized as hard-to-transfect cells, there is a critical demand to develop an appropriate and effective approach for CRISPR/Cas9 delivery into these cells. This review focuses on various strategies for CRISPR/Cas9 delivery in stem cells.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Limited data is available on the full spectrum of maternal COVID-19 infection in terms of pregnancy outcomes. The present study aimed to compare the maternal and neonatal outcomes of COVID-19 in infected and non-infected pregnant women. METHODS: A dual-site retrospective cohort study was conducted in two tertiary hospitals in Isfahan, Iran. The sample included 104 infected and 210 non-infected hospitalized pregnant women. Odds ratios (OR) were estimated using multivariate logistic regression. RESULTS: There were significant differences between COVID-19-infected and non-infected pregnant women regarding preterm labor (PTL) (odds ratio [OR]: 11.34, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.19-48.54, P=0.035); hospitalization days (OR: 7.21, 95% CI: 4.05-12.85, P≤0.001); cesarean section (CS) (OR: 4.76, 95% CI: 1.78-12.45, P=0.002); neonatal admission to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) (OR: 1.28, 95% CI: 1.12-1.67, P=0.004); and neonatal respiratory distress (OR: 2.37, 95% CI: 1.02- 5.47, P=0.044). No significant association was found between COVID-19 infection and abortion (OR: 0.06, 95% CI: 0.01-1.45, P=0.084); stillbirth (OR: 1.84, 95% CI: 0.05-39.68, P=0.743); Apgar score (1 minute) (OR: 0.91, 95% CI: 0.74-1.13, P=0.382); Apgar score (5 minutes) (OR: 0.97, 95% CI: 0.81-1.18, P=0.765); and low birth weight (LBW) (OR: 4.76, 95% CI: 1.78-12.45, P=0.002). CONCLUSION: PTL, CS, neonatal admission in NICU, neonatal respiratory distress, and hospitalization days were significantly higher in pregnant women with COVID-19 compared to those without infection.

RESUMO

INTRODUCTION: Crocin (Cro) is a bioactive biomaterial with properties that promote osteoconduction, osteoinduction, and osteogenic differentiation, making it an ideal candidate for developing mechanically enhanced scaffolds for bone tissue engineering (BTE). Present study focused on a 3D printing matrix loaded with Cro and featuring a composite structure consisting of Chitosan (CH), collagen (Col), and hydroxyapatite (HA). METHOD: The scaffolds' structural properties were analyzed using FESEM, and FTIR DSC, while the degradation rate, swelling ratio, cell viability were examined to determine their in vitro performance. Additionally, the scaffolds' mechanical properties were calculated by examining their force, stress, elongation, and Young's modulus. RESULTS: The CH/Col/nHA scaffolds demonstrated interconnected porous structures. The cell study results indicated that the Cro-loaded in scaffolds cause to reduce the toxicity of Cro. Biocompatibility was confirmed through degradation rate, swelling ratio parameters, and contact angle measurements for all structures. The addition of Cro showed a significant impact on the strength of the fabricated scaffolds. By loading 25 and 50 µl of Cro, the Young's modulus improved by 71 % and 74 %, respectively, compared to the free drug scaffold. CONCLUSION: The obtained results indicated that the 3D printing crocin-loaded scaffolds based chitosan/collagen/hydroxyapatite structure can be introduced as a promising candidate for BTE applications.

RESUMO

Objectives: Known as natural nanovesicles, exosomes have attracted increased attention as biocompatible carriers throughout recent years, which can provide appropriate sources for incorporating and transferring drugs to desired cells in order to improve their effectiveness and safety. Materials and Methods: This study implicates the isolation of mesenchymal stem cells from adipocyte tissue (ADSCs) to acquire a proper amount of exosomes for drug delivery. As the exosomes were separated by ultracentrifugation, SN38 was entrapped into ADSCs-derived exosomes through the combination method of incubation, freeze-thaw, and surfactant treatment (SN38/Exo). Then, SN38/Exo was conjugated with anti-MUC1 aptamer (SN38/Exo-Apt), and its targeting ability and cytotoxicity towards cancer cells were investigated. Results: Encapsulation efficiency of SN38 into exosomes (58%) was significantly increased using our novel combination method. Furthermore, the in vitro results were indicative of the great cellular uptake of SN38/Exo-Apt and its significant cytotoxicity on Mucin 1 overexpressing cells (C26 cancer cells) without noticeable cytotoxicity on normal cells (CHO cells). Conclusion: The results propose that our approach developed an efficient method for loading SN38 as a hydrophobic drug into exosomes and decorating them with MUC1 aptamer against Mucin 1 overexpressing cells. So, SN38/Exo-Apt could be considered a great platform in the future for the therapy of colorectal cancer.

RESUMO

Cytokine-mediated cancer therapy has the potential to enhance immunotherapeutic approaches and cancer elimination plans through the endowing of the immune system by providing improved anticancer immunity. Despite the encouraging pioneer studies on interleukins (ILs), the influence of ILs-originated therapeutics is still restricted by a class of potent immunoregulatory cytokines, systemic dose-limiting toxicities, ILs pleiotropy, and administration issues. During previous years, the area of transferring genes encoding immunostimulatory ILs was fundamentally widened to overcome these challenges and expedite ILs-based tumor regression. Numerous viral and non-viral delivery systems are currently available to act as crucial elements of the gene therapy toolbox. Moreover, cell-based cancer therapies are recruiting MSCs in the role of versatile gene delivery platforms to design one of the promising therapeutic approaches. These formulated gene carrier systems can provide possible alternatives to diminish dose-limiting adverse effects, promote administration, and enhance the therapeutic activity of ILs-derived treatment modalities in cancer treatment. This review provides a discussion on the advances of ILs gene delivery systems while focusing on the developing platforms in preclinical cancer immunogene therapy studies.

RESUMO

Objective: Cigarette smoke (CS) contains compounds such as reactive oxygen species (ROS). Oxidative stress caused by excessive ROS eventually leads to germ cell apoptosis and male infertility. The leaves of Cichorium intybus (chicory) are rich in natural antioxidants, but their protective effects on the adverse effects of CS on testicular tissue have not been studied. Materials and Methods: 24 Wistar rats were classified into four groups: control, extract: treatment with chicory extract (200 mg/kg body weight/day) for 13 weeks, smoke: exposed to CS for 13 weeks, and smoke + extract: exposed to CS and treated with the C. intybus extract. Histological and biochemical analyses and apoptosis assay were done, and Ahr, and Cyp1a1 expression was determined. Results: Treatment with C. intybus compensated for the reduction of Sertoli cells, spermatogonia, spermatocytes, and spermatids caused by CS. Chicory extract reduced free radicals and improved antioxidant status. The lowest and highest percentage of apoptotic cells was observed in the extract and smoke groups, respectively, while simultaneous treatment with C. intybus extract led to a significant reduction of apoptotic cells. The mean Ahr levels in the control, extract, smoke and smoke + extract groups were 1.00±0.57, 1.93±0.25, 5.98±0.42, and 0.62±0.22, respectively (p˂0.05). The mean levels of Cyp1a1 expression in the control, extract, smoke and smoke + extract groups were 1.00±0.31, 2.28±0.65, 5.55±0.40, and 0.21±0.23 (p˂0.05). Conclusion: The C. intybus extract probably affected Cyp1a1 expression by downregulation of Ahr. These led to a decrease in free radicals and apoptosis, and an improvement in antioxidant status.

RESUMO

Background: Reproductive health during youth is considered one of the pivotal aspects of sustainable development. In this regard, students are more exposed to reproductive health problems and risks. Accordingly, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of the reproductive health self-care educational booklet on the self-care ability of female university students. Materials and Methods: This study was a quasiexperimental research in which a reproductive health self-care educational booklet designed based on needs assessment was provided to 75 newly admitted female university students at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2018-2019 who were selected by quota sampling method from all faculties. Using a researcher-made questionnaire on reproductive health self-care ability (knowledge, attitude, practice), data were collected before, immediately after, and 6 weeks after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and analytical statistics in SPSS version 20. Results: As the results showed, the mean score of self-care ability (F = 208.46, p < 0.001), knowledge (F = 130.88, p < 0.001), attitude (F = 76.09, p < 0.001), and practice (F = 89.76, p < 0.001) of the subjects immediately and 6 weeks after the intervention was significantly higher than before the intervention. However, no significant difference was observed in these scores, between immediately after and 6 weeks after the intervention. Conclusions: The results indicated that the designed self-care educational booklet led to a relatively constant promotion of the reproductive health self-care ability of female students. Thus, this booklet seems to be useful in meeting the educational needs of female students in various aspects of reproductive health.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Osteoporosis, the fourth most common disease in the world, affects the elderly and postmenopausal women and imposes a great financial and social burden on individuals and society. Furthermore, it has a significant impact on the quality of patients' life. This study tries to take an effective step toward improving the quality of patients' life by developing and evaluating the self-care program of women with osteoporosis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: In this research, a hybrid sequential design of quantitative and qualitative type consisting of three phases is used. This mixed-method study aimed to develop and evaluate a self-care program for women with osteoporosis. CONCLUSION: Familiarity with the needs of these patients and the use of self-care programs and considering social, cultural, and psychological factors could be effective steps to improve the health of women with osteoporosis. These steps can improve the quality of life and reduce the costs of treatment for this group of women.
