RESUMO

Objective@#To investigate the value of thoracoscopy in diagnosis and treatment of pleural diseases in children.@*Method@#Clinical manifestations and treatment outcomes of 19 patients who had refractory pleural diseases treated with thoracosocy during May 2011 to August 2016 in Hunan Provincial People′s Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. In 19 cases, 15 were male and 4 were female, with an average age of (4.8±2.0) years. Thirteen patients had left pleural lesion, while 5 patients had right lesion, and 1 had bilateral lesions.@*Result@#All cases were successfully treated with thoracoscopy without emergent thoracotomy. Pre- and post operative diagnosis was compatible in 10 cases, including 8 cases of empyema (Streptococcus pneumoniae infection in 6 cases, and Staphylococcus Aureus infection in 2 cases), and 2 cases of tuberculous pleuritis. Nine patients who had not been clearly diagnosed before surgery were diagnosed to be empyema (4 case), tuberculous pleuritic (3 cases), mycoplasma infection (1 case), and foreign body with infection (1 case) by thoracoscopy. The average duration of post-op closed thoracic drainage was (4.7±2.3) days. The average time to get normal temperature was (2.4±2.6) days. And the average length of hospital stay was (6.7±1.8) days. No hemothorax, chylothorax, or need for analgesic occurred.@*Conclusion@#Thoracoscopy can be recommended for diagnosis and treatment of refractory pleural lesions diseases in children, with minimal trauma and complications.

RESUMO

Objective:To provide reference for the introduction and application of intelligent access system. Methods:The intelli-gent access system and its work process in our hospital were introduced. The application effects in the emergency pharmacy were inves-tigated and the key points that should be paid more attention in the practice were discussed. Results:Comparing with the situation be-fore the application, the system could decrease prescription time by about 26. 1% and reduce walking work intensity by about 5 times, and the drug store room was decreased by about 30%. No dispensing error happened in nearly half a year after the application of the in-telligent access system. Conclusion:The application of intelligent access system in emergency pharmacy is the development trend of the future.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effects of nutritional intervention on body composition, blood biochemical parameters and blood pressure of overweight adults with metabolic syndrome. Methods Forty overweight adults with metabolic syndrome (body mass index (BMI) > 28.0 kg/m2,waist circunference ≥85 cm(for male)or ≥80 cm(for female))participated in this investigation.Changes of serum lipid profiles, blood glucose, blood pressure and other indicators were compaired before and after 2-months'intervention.SPSS 18.0 Software was used for data analysis. Results After two rnonths' nutritional intervention, body weight, body fat,BMI,visceral fat area and waist hip ratio were significantly improved(t =17.02,11.07,5.11,10.35,9.58 ; P < 0.05).The glutamic-pyruvic transaminase,glutamic-oxalacetic transaminease, cholesterol, triacylglycerol, fasting blood-glucose,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were also significantly improved after nutrition intervention(t =2.87,2.91,3.33,2.24,2.56,5.74,6.99 ;P < 0.05).Conclusion Nutrition intervention may contribute to improved levels of blood pressure, blood glucose and serum lipid profiles of obesity individuals through body weight and body fat control and lead to reduced insulin resistance caused by obesity.
