RESUMO

Anode materials with excellent properties have become the key to develop sodium-ion hybrid capacitors (SIHCs) that combine the advantages of both batteries and capacitors. Amorphous modulation is an effective strategy to realize high energy/power density in SIHCs. Herein, atomically amorphous Nb-O/N clusters with asymmetric coordination are in situ created in N-doped hollow carbon shells (Nb-O/N@C). The amorphous clusters with asymmetric Nb-O3/N1 configurations have abundant charge density and low diffusion energy barriers, which effectively modulate the charge transport paths and improve the reaction kinetics. The clusters are also enriched with unsaturated vacancy defects and isotropic ion-transport channels, and their atomic disordering exhibits high structural stress buffering, which are strong impetuses for realizing bulk-phase-indifferent ion storage and enhancing the storage properties of the composite. Based on these features, Nb-O/N@C achieves notably improved sodium-ion storage properties (reversible capacity of 240.1 mAh g-1 at 10.0 A g-1 after 8000 cycles), and has great potential for SIHCs (230 Wh Kg-1 at 4001.5 W Kg-1). This study sheds new light on developing high-performance electrodes for sodium-ion batteries and SIHCs by designing amorphous clusters and asymmetric coordination.

RESUMO

More accurate identification of the types of body fluids left at a crime scene is indispensable for improving the judicial chain of evidence. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have become recognized as ideal molecular markers for the identification of body fluids in forensic science due to their short length, stability and high tissue specificity. In this study, small RNA sequencing was performed on 20 samples of five types of body fluids (peripheral blood, menstrual blood, saliva, semen, and vaginal secretions) with the BGISEQ-500 sequencing platform, and the specific miRNA markers of saliva and vaginal secretions were screened by bioinformatics methods, including differential expression analysis and significant enrichment analysis. Through RT-qPCR validation of 169 samples, we confirmed that miR-223-3p can be used as a saliva-specific marker. In addition, we considered miR-223-3p in combination with four other miRNA molecules (miR-451a, miR-891a-5p, miR-144-5p, miR-203a-3p) that had been previously screened and verified in our laboratory, and seven body fluid prediction models based on machine learning algorithms were constructed and verified. The results showed that a kernel density estimation (KDE) model based on the five miRNA markers for body fluid identification could achieve 100% accuracy in the samples tested in the present study.

RESUMO

Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) as economic candidates have received considerable attention for large-scale energy storage applications. However, crystalline metal compounds with specific transport routes and rigid structures restrict their practical applications. Herein, the atomically dispersed N-rich amorphous WN clusters confined in the carbon nanosheets (WN/CNSs) are reported. Through advanced tests and calculations, the structural advantages, reaction mechanisms, and kinetic behaviors of the clusters are systematically analyzed. Compared with the crystalline W2 N with low theoretical capacity (only 209.3 mAh g-1 ), the amorphous WN clusters have the advantages of atomic disorders and non-grain boundaries and can afford abundant active sites (unsaturated dangling bonds) and isotropic charge transfer channels, which can be further enhanced by the N-rich characteristics and high electronegativity of the clusters. The encapsulation of CNSs has high conductivity and structural stability, which promotes electron transfer and effectively buffers volume expansions. As a SIB anode, the reversible capacity of WN/CNSs reaches 421.2 mAh g-1 at 0.1 A g-1 . Even at 20 A g-1 , the reversible capacity of 170.7 mAh g-1 is maintained after 8000 cycles. This study focuses on the advantages of amorphous nitrides, which have important guiding significance for the design of atomic clusters for high-performance metal ion batteries.

RESUMO

Objective: It is essential to focus on the rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients after discharge to prevent their long-term sequelae, but there is less research on healthcare organizations enhancing rehabilitation services for patients discharged from COVID-19. Therefore, this study aimed to describe how a public hospital provides better rehabilitation services for patients after being identified as a designated rehabilitation hospital for patients with COVID-19 and attempted to combine the theory of organizational change to analyze how the hospital finally successfully transformed. Methods: A tertiary public hospital located in the center of Xi'an was selected for the study. It was identified as a designated hospital for the rehabilitation of patients discharged from the hospital with COVID-19. Nine hospital leaders and group leaders closely related to the rehabilitation management work were invited to participate in interviews to explore the fact about the hospital's rehabilitation work. The semi-structured interview with the hospital director and the focus group interview with group leaders were used for data collection. Two researchers independently conducted a thematic analysis of these responses. Results: One hundred and seventy-eight primary codes, 22 subcategories, six main categories, and one core theme were obtained from data analysis. The main categories include organization and coordination (overall deployment, transfer patient, and external coordination), hospital infection prevention and control (process transformation, ward disinfection, hospital infection training, inspection, and supervision), staff management (staff classification, closed-loop management, and staff health screening), individual services for patients (create an individual scheme, humanistic care, organize special activities, and strengthen communication and guidance), comprehensive supporting (basic medical guarantee, daily necessities guarantee, health and nutrition guarantee, and assistance fund guarantee) and positive transformation (strategic thinking, benchmarking, strengthen cohesion, and expand influence). Conclusion: The hospital had to transform its operations in the face of a complex environment during the pandemic. After deciding to transform, the hospital effectively prevented nosocomial infections and provided rehabilitation services to 583 patients through systematic management measures such as organizational coordination, staff classification, and personalized services. In the end, it has been successfully transformed and has grown rapidly. To ensure that it can continue to grow sustainably, the hospital enhanced the new ways that have emerged from this transformation.
