[Antibodies to Hsp60 in newborn babies, to whom during the intervention for critical inborn heart failure, autologous cord blood was transfused, in early and late postoperative period].

The titre of antibodies to Hsp60 (heat shock protein) enhancement in the blood serum is considered a biological marker of poor state of organism. Comparative investigation was done on the antibodies titre to Hsp60 in the blood serum of a newborn babies, suffering critical inborn heart failure, to whom autologous cord blood or the donor's blood components was transfused, in early and remote postoperative period. In early postoperative period the lowering of the antibodies titre to Hsp60 in the blood serum was observed in comparison with them preoperatively, in a late period (in 2 yrs) in all the blood serum samples investigated antibodies to Hsp60 were not revealed. In 35% of patients, to whom the donor's blood components were transfused, there was registered the enhancement of the antibodies to Hsp60 titre in early postoperative period. High titre of antibodies have associated with enhanced rate of complications. In late postoperative period antibodies to Hsp60 were revealed in 20% of the examined patients.

[The plasm welding of the digestive system organs in experiment].

The plasm welding of the gut organs--perspective trend, which permits to increase the surgeon possibilities in performance of operative intervention. The results of operations, performed on large intestine and stomach, trusts, that it is possible to apply the streams of the high temperature gas plasm for the tissues dissection and connection. There are such advantages of the method, as the operation time shortage, simplicity in manipulating "Plasmomed" apparatus, absence of foreign bodies in the connection zone, high degree of hemostasis achieved. After the operation there was observed rapid restoration of the main structure elements in the large intestine and stomach wall, localized in the plasm welding zone. There was elaborated and tested a new method of the living tissues welding, and the processes, occurring in tissues within the plasm welding application zone, were studied up.

Expediency has been shown for the immunological investigation to be done in those patients with acute glomerulonephritis in the nephrosis stage before the start of treatment to find out relevant approaches to such patients. The most informative parameters characterizing immunity include the peripheral blood absolute content T-lymphocytes, relative and absolute content of B-lymphocytes in the peripheral blood, IgA, IgG in blood plasma. However, to prognosticate near term clinical efficiency of treatment with immunodepressive drugs it is essential that all basic indices for the cell-bound and humoral immunity be taken account of.

[The production of the tumor necrosis factor in an experimental staphylococcal infection]. / Produktsiia faktora nekrozu pukhlyn pry eksperymental'nii stafilokokovii infektsiï.

The paper deals with the study of production of tumour necrosis factor (TNF), the key mediator of inflammation and immune responses of the organism, under experimental and staphylococcus infection (Staphylococcus aureus, st. 209) on mice of C57B16 line. It is established that staphylococcus infection of animals lead to TNF induction. Dynamics of this cytokinin synthesis by peritoneal macrophages and splenocytes under the infection of mice with S. aureus in different doses differed in time and as to absolute values. In animals infected by staphylococcus in a dose of LD30 the TNF production was high as compared to the control for 72 h after the infection and was normalized on the 4-6th day of the experiment. When using staphylococcus in a dose of LD50, spontaneous production of this cytokinin was higher than that in the control for the whole period of observation.

[Disorders of interferon status in bronchopulmonary diseases in children living under conditions of elevated background radiation]. / Narushenie interferonovogo statusa pri bronkholegochnykh zabolevaniikh u detei, prozhivaiushchikh v usloviiakh povyshennogo radiatsionnogo fona.

Impairments in the interferon status of children with chronic and recurring diseases of the respiratory organs were investigated and its correction was shown possible with the use of alpha 2-interferon (reaferon). Suppression of the interferon-producing capacity of the immunocytes was observed in all the cases of the disease aggravation. The level of the suppression correlated with the severity of the infection. In the patients affected by radiation the suppression of the interferonogenesis was more marked. However, in these cases no dependence of the detected impairments in the interferon status on the level of the radiation pollution of the territory of the children residence was shown. The inclusion of reaferon to the basal therapy resulted in a significant increase of the alpha-interferon production in the cases of bronchial asthma and asthmatic bronchitis as well as its recovery to the normal in the cases of recurring bronchitis and chronic pneumonia. In all the cases of bronchopulmonary diseases only a tendency towards normalization of the alpha-interferon indices was recorded.

[The efficacy of leukinferon in suppurative-septic diseases]. / Effektivnost' leikinferona pri gnoino-septicheskikh zabolevaniiakh.

In the complex of treatment of purulent-septic diseases leukinferon at a dose of 300 IU/kg was used according to the following scheme: 3 injections with the 48 h interval between injections. The effect of leukinferon mainly on the function of neutrophil granulocytes and subpopulation of T-lymphocytes was established. Together with clinico-laboratory data indicative of the effectiveness of treatment, normalization of interferon status and decrease in the level of a circulating factor of tumour necrosis in seriously ill patients was observed.
