RESUMO

Echovirus 11 (E11) has gained attention owing to its association with severe neonatal infections. From 2018 to 2023, a surge in severe neonatal cases and fatalities linked to a novel variant of genotype D5 was documented in China, France, and Italy. However, the prevention and control of E11 variants have been hampered by limited background data on the virus circulation and genetic variance. Therefore, the present study investigated the circulating dynamics of E11 and the genetic variation and molecular evolution of genotype D5 through the collection of strains from the national acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) and hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) surveillance system in China during 2000-2022 and genetic sequences published in the GenBank database. The results of this study revealed a prevalent dynamic of E11 circulation, with D5 being the predominant genotype worldwide. Further phylogenetic analysis of genotype D5 indicated that it could be subdivided into three important geographic clusters (D5-CHN1: 2014-2019, D5-CHN2: 2016-2022, and D5-EUR: 2022-2023). Additionally, variant-specific (144) amino acid mutation sites and positive-selection pressure sites (132, 262) were identified in the VP1 region. Cluster-specific recombination patterns were also identified, with CVB5, E6, and CVB4 as the major recombinant viruses. These findings provide a preliminary landscape of E11 circulation worldwide and basic scientific data for further study of the pathogenicity of E11 variants.

RESUMO

Surgical operation is the main treatment of oral and maxillofacial tumors.Dysphagia is a common postoperative complication.Swal-lowing disorder can not only lead to mis-aspiration,malnutrition,aspiration pneumonia and other serious consequences, but also may cause psychological problems and social communication barriers, affecting the quality of life of the patients. At present, there is no systematic evalua-tion and rehabilitation management plan for the problem of swallowing disorder after oral and maxillofacial tumor surgery in China.Combining the characteristics of postoperative swallowing disorder in patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors, summarizing the clinical experience of ex-perts in the field of tumor and rehabilitation, reviewing and summarizing relevant literature at home and abroad, and through joint discussion and modification,a group of national experts reached this consensus including the core contents of the screening of swallowing disorders, the phased assessment of prognosis and complications, and the implementation plan of comprehensive management such as nutrition management, respiratory management, swallowing function recovery, psychology and nursing during rehabilitation treatment,in order to improve the evalua-tion and rehabilitation of swallowing disorder after oral and maxillofacial tumor surgery in clinic.

RESUMO

Cryoablation therapy with explicit anti-tumor mechanisms and histopathological manifestations has a long history.A large number of clinical practice has shown that cryoablation therapy is safe and effective, making it an ideal tumor treatment method in theory.Previously, its efficacy and clinical application were constrained by the limitations of refrigerants and refrigeration equipment. With the development of the new generation of cryoablation equipment represented by argon helium knives, significant progress has been made in refrigeration efficien-cy,ablation range, and precise temperature measurement, greatly promoting the progression of tumor cryoablation technology. This consensus systematically summarizes the mechanism of cryoablation technology, indications for oral mucosal melanoma(OMM)cryotherapy, clinical treatment process, adverse reactions and management, cryotherapy combination therapy, etc.,aiming to provide reference for carrying out the standardized cryoablation therapy of OMM.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze features and diagnostic value of imageology of the early peripheral lung carcinoma. Methods The dynamic changes of early peripheral lung carcinoma confirmed pathologically in 21 cases were retrospectively analysed. The imaging features in combination with pathological data were also analysed. Results All of 21 cases,16 cases were the tubercle type(76.1%),3 cases were the spot type(14.3%) and 2 cases were the vacuole type(9.6%).Conclusion The typical imaging features of early peripheral lung carcinoma are few,the dynamic observation of the disease is of relatively high value in diagnosis.

RESUMO

Objective To make a further understanding of the CT features of intraorbital meningioma, and to improve the level of CT diagnosis. Methods The imaging data of CT and clinical information of 17 cases with operatively and pathologically proved intraorbital meningioma(primary or secondary) from October 1997 to October 2006 in our hospital were retrospectively analysed. Results There were 11 optic nerve sheath meningiomas,4 orbital bone meningiomas and 2 sphenoid ridge meningiomas. On contrast-enhanced CT scan, most of the cases displayed an even enhancement. The "orbit sign""sleeve sign" and the hyperostosis of orbital bone were characteristic features of intraorbital meningioma. Conclusion CT examination plays an important role in diagnosing intraorbital meningioma.

RESUMO

Objective To discuss CT,X-ray and sonographic features of atypical kidney cyst. Methods CT,X-ray and sonographic findings in 9 cases with pathologically-proved atypical kidney cyst were retrospectively analyzed. Results CT and sonography could diagnose atipical kidney cyst with a high accuracy.Of 9 cases, bloody kidney cyst 3 cases, calcified kidney cyst 2 cases, separate kidney cyst 3 cases.Renal milk of calcium kidney cyst 1 case.CT and ultrasound can display the forms and features of atypical kidney cyst. Conclusion CT and sonography are of great value for the diagnosis of atypical kidney cyst.It is difficult in differentiating the bloody kidney cyst and renal carcinoma with muddy cystic content.Ultrasound guided puncturing biopsy sould be carried out.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the CT manifestations of hepatocellular adenoma, and improve the CT diagnostic accuracy of the disease. Methods CT manifestations of 10 cases with hepatocellular adenoma proved by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results On plain CT scan, the lesions were isodensity or slight hypodensity in 10 cases, which was hardly distinguished from the normal tissue. In all 10 cases, the lesions showed marked enhancement in the arterial phase.the mean CT value of hepatocellular adenoma in the arterial phase was much higher than that in portal venous and delay phase. Conclusion CT scan is helpful for the diagnosis of hepatocellular adenoma.
