RESUMO

Wall segmentation is a special case of semantic segmentation, and the task is to classify each pixel into one of two classes: wall and no-wall. The segmentation model returns a mask showing where objects like windows and furniture are located, as well as walls. This article proposes the module's structure for semantic segmentation of walls in 2D images, which can effectively address the problem of wall segmentation. The proposed model achieved higher accuracy and faster execution than other solutions. An encoder-decoder architecture of the segmentation module was used. Dilated ResNet50/101 network was used as an encoder, representing ResNet50/101 network in which dilated convolutional layers replaced the last convolutional layers. The ADE20K dataset subset containing only interior images, was used for model training, while only its subset was used for model evaluation. Three different approaches to model training were analyzed in the research. On the validation dataset, the best approach based on the proposed structure with the ResNet101 network resulted in an average accuracy at the pixel level of 92.13% and an intersection over union (IoU) of 72.58%. Moreover, all proposed approaches can be applied to recognize other objects in the image to solve specific tasks.

RESUMO

DeepFake is a forged image or video created using deep learning techniques. The present fake content of the detection technique can detect trivial images such as barefaced fake faces. Moreover, the capability of current methods to detect fake faces is minimal. Many recent types of research have made the fake detection algorithm from rule-based to machine-learning models. However, the emergence of deep learning technology with intelligent improvement motivates this specified research to use deep learning techniques. Thus, it is proposed to have VIOLA Jones's (VJ) algorithm for selecting the best features with Capsule Graph Neural Network (CN). The graph neural network is improved by capsule-based node feature extraction to improve the results of the graph neural network. The experiment is evaluated with CelebDF-FaceForencics++ (c23) datasets, which combines FaceForencies++ (c23) and Celeb-DF. In the end, it is proved that the accuracy of the proposed model has achieved 94.

RESUMO

In smart cities, the fast increase in automobiles has caused congestion, pollution, and disruptions in the transportation of commodities. Each year, there are more fatalities and cases of permanent impairment due to everyday road accidents. To control traffic congestion, provide secure data transmission also detecting accidents the IoT-based Traffic Management System is used. To identify, gather, and send data, autonomous cars, and intelligent gadgets are equipped with an IoT-based ITM system with a group of sensors. The transport system is being improved via machine learning. In this work, an Adaptive Traffic Management system (ATM) with an accident alert sound system (AALS) is used for managing traffic congestion and detecting the accident. For secure traffic data transmission Secure Early Traffic-Related EveNt Detection (SEE-TREND) is used. The design makes use of several scenarios to address every potential problem with the transportation system. The suggested ATM model continuously modifies the timing of traffic signals based on the volume of traffic and anticipated movements from neighboring junctions. By progressively allowing cars to pass green lights, it considerably reduces traveling time. It also relieves traffic congestion by creating a seamless transition. The results of the trial show that the suggested ATM system fared noticeably better than the traditional traffic-management method and will be a leader in transportation planning for smart-city-based transportation systems. The suggested ATM-ALTREND solution provides secure traffic data transmission that decreases traffic jams and vehicle wait times, lowers accident rates, and enhances the entire travel experience.

RESUMO

Early identification of false news is now essential to save lives from the dangers posed by its spread. People keep sharing false information even after it has been debunked. Those responsible for spreading misleading information in the first place should face the consequences, not the victims of their actions. Understanding how misinformation travels and how to stop it is an absolute need for society and government. Consequently, the necessity to identify false news from genuine stories has emerged with the rise of these social media platforms. One of the tough issues of conventional methodologies is identifying false news. In recent years, neural network models' performance has surpassed that of classic machine learning approaches because of their superior feature extraction. This research presents Deep learning-based Fake News Detection (DeepFND). This technique has Visual Geometry Group 19 (VGG-19) and Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) ensemble models for identifying misinformation spread through social media. This system uses an ensemble deep learning (DL) strategy to extract characteristics from the article's text and photos. The joint feature extractor and the attention modules are used with an ensemble approach, including pre-training and fine-tuning phases. In this article, we utilized a unique customized loss function. In this research, we look at methods for detecting bogus news on the internet without human intervention. We used the Weibo, liar, PHEME, fake and real news, and Buzzfeed datasets to analyze fake and real news. Multiple methods for identifying fake news are compared and contrasted. Precision procedures have been used to calculate the proposed model's output. The model's 99.88% accuracy is better than expected.

RESUMO

The fast-growing quantity of information hinders the process of machine learning, making it computationally costly and with substandard results. Feature selection is a pre-processing method for obtaining the optimal subset of features in a data set. Optimization algorithms struggle to decrease the dimensionality while retaining accuracy in high-dimensional data set. This article proposes a novel chaotic opposition fruit fly optimization algorithm, an improved variation of the original fruit fly algorithm, advanced and adapted for binary optimization problems. The proposed algorithm is tested on ten unconstrained benchmark functions and evaluated on twenty-one standard datasets taken from the Univesity of California, Irvine repository and Arizona State University. Further, the presented algorithm is assessed on a coronavirus disease dataset, as well. The proposed method is then compared with several well-known feature selection algorithms on the same datasets. The results prove that the presented algorithm predominantly outperform other algorithms in selecting the most relevant features by decreasing the number of utilized features and improving classification accuracy.

RESUMO

Recently, deepfake technology has become a popularly used technique for swapping faces in images or videos that create forged data to mislead society. Detecting the originality of the video is a critical process due to the negative pattern of the image. In the detection of forged images or videos, various image processing techniques were implemented. Existing methods are ineffective in detecting new threats or false images. This article has proposed You Only Look Once-Local Binary Pattern Histogram (YOLO-LBPH) to detect fake videos. YOLO is used to detect the face in an image or a frame of a video. The spatial features are extracted from the face image using a EfficientNet-B5 method. Spatial feature extractions are fed as input in the Local Binary Pattern Histogram to extract temporal features. The proposed YOLO-LBPH is implemented using the large scale deepfake forensics (DF) dataset known as CelebDF-FaceForensics++(c23), which is a combination of FaceForensics++(c23) and Celeb-DF. As a result, the precision score is 86.88% in the CelebDF-FaceForensics++(c23) dataset, 88.9% in the DFFD dataset, 91.35% in the CASIA-WebFace data. Similarly, the recall is 92.45% in the Celeb-DF-Face Forensics ++(c23) dataset, 93.76% in the DFFD dataset, and 94.35% in the CASIA-Web Face dataset.

RESUMO

In the recent research era, artificial intelligence techniques have been used for computer vision, big data analysis, and detection systems. The development of these advanced technologies has also increased security and privacy issues. One kind of this issue is Deepfakes which is the combined word of deep learning and fake. DeepFake refers to the formation of a fake image or video using artificial intelligence approaches which are created for political abuse, fake data transfer, and pornography. This paper has developed a Deepfake detection method by examining the computer vision features of the digital content. The computer vision features based on the frame change are extracted using a proposed deep learning model called the Cascaded Deep Sparse Auto Encoder (CDSAE) trained by temporal CNN. The detection process is performed using a Deep Neural Network (DNN) to classify the deep fake image/video from the real image/video. The proposed model is implemented using Face2Face, FaceSwap, and DFDC datasets which have secured an improved detection rate when compared to the traditional deep fake detection approaches.

RESUMO

Deep Learning is an effective technique and used in various fields of natural language processing, computer vision, image processing and machine vision. Deep fakes uses deep learning technique to synthesis and manipulate image of a person in which human beings cannot distinguish the fake one. By using generative adversarial neural networks (GAN) deep fakes are generated which may threaten the public. Detecting deep fake image content plays a vital role. Many research works have been done in detection of deep fakes in image manipulation. The main issues in the existing techniques are inaccurate, consumption time is high. In this work we implement detecting of deep fake face image analysis using deep learning technique of fisherface using Local Binary Pattern Histogram (FF-LBPH). Fisherface algorithm is used to recognize the face by reduction of the dimension in the face space using LBPH. Then apply DBN with RBM for deep fake detection classifier. The public data sets used in this work are FFHQ, 100K-Faces DFFD, CASIA-WebFace.

RESUMO

The research proposed in this article presents a novel improved version of the widely adopted firefly algorithm and its application for tuning and optimising XGBoost classifier hyper-parameters for network intrusion detection. One of the greatest issues in the domain of network intrusion detection systems are relatively high false positives and false negatives rates. In the proposed study, by using XGBoost classifier optimised with improved firefly algorithm, this challenge is addressed. Based on the established practice from the modern literature, the proposed improved firefly algorithm was first validated on 28 well-known CEC2013 benchmark instances a comparative analysis with the original firefly algorithm and other state-of-the-art metaheuristics was conducted. Afterwards, the devised method was adopted and tested for XGBoost hyper-parameters optimisation and the tuned classifier was tested on the widely used benchmarking NSL-KDD dataset and more recent USNW-NB15 dataset for network intrusion detection. Obtained experimental results prove that the proposed metaheuristics has significant potential in tackling machine learning hyper-parameters optimisation challenge and that it can be used for improving classification accuracy and average precision of network intrusion detection systems.

RESUMO

A subject of extensive research interest in the Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs) niche is motor imagery (MI), where users imagine limb movements to control the system. This interest is owed to the immense potential for its applicability in gaming, neuro-prosthetics and neuro-rehabilitation, where the user's thoughts of imagined movements need to be decoded. Electroencephalography (EEG) equipment is commonly used for keeping track of cerebrum movement in BCI systems. The EEG signals are recognized by feature extraction and classification. The current research proposes a Hybrid-KELM (Kernel Extreme Learning Machine) method based on PCA (Principal Component Analysis) and FLD (Fisher's Linear Discriminant) for MI BCI classification of EEG data. The performance and results of the method are demonstrated using BCI competition dataset III, and compared with those of contemporary methods. The proposed method generated an accuracy of 96.54%.
