Synthesis of functionalized 2-vinyl-2,3-dihydropyrroles and 3-methylene-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridines by palladium-catalyzed cyclization of ß-enaminocarbonyl compounds with allylic bisacetates.

A palladium-catalyzed cyclization of ß-enaminocarbonyl compounds with allylic bisacetates is described. 2-Vinyl-2,3-dihydropyrroles and 3-methylene-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridines were produced from the reaction of ß-enaminocarbonyl compounds with 1,4-diacetoxy-2-butene and 2-methylene-1,3-propanediol diacetate, respectively.

Regiocontrolled construction of furo[3,2-c]pyran-4-one derivatives by palladium-catalyzed cyclization of propargylic carbonates with 4-hydroxy-2-pyrones.

The reaction of propargylic carbonates with 4-hydroxy-2-pyrones in the presence of a palladium catalyst is described. By the choice of the reaction temperature, two types of the substituted furo[3,2-c]pyran-4-one derivatives were regioselectively synthesized, respectively.
