RESUMO

Disseminated intestinal and cutaneous thromboangiitis (Kohlmeier-Degos' syndrome) is a rare syndrome of unknown etiology, which is characterized by cutaneous and visceral involvement. Two (cutaneous and visceral) stages are identified. A fatal outcome is inevitable although there may be a long (8-20-year) course of the disease during a benign process. The causes of death are peritonitis, central nervous system impairments, pleurisy, pericarditis. The paper describes a case of disseminated intestinal and cutaneous thromboangiitis (Kohlmeier-Degos' syndrome) in a 32-year-old female patient who has died from intoxication due to severely impaired permeability of the epithelial barrier mainly of the large bowel (diphtheritic inflammation of the mucosa, severe inflammatory edema of the submucous layer, and fibrinous impregnation of the serous membrane).

RESUMO

A study is presented of 103 patients with myocardial infarction (age: from 23 to 41 years) and 100 patients over 55 years-old. The younger patients showed rarely stenocardia in the preinfarction period, macrofocal lesions prevailed, more pronounced were leucocytosis, hyperenzymemia, hyperlipidemia and hyperthermia, rarely cardiogenic shock, cardiac asthma, pulmonary edema and complex rhythm disorders. Diagnostic errors were observed in 48.5% at the prehospital stage in the younger patients. The most frequent causes of errors were awareness of the physician for coronary pathology in the young, inadequate anamnesis screening and examination of patients.

RESUMO

Results are reported of treatment of 19 patients with acute pneumonia by means of low-energy laser radiation in the complex of therapeutic measures. The positive effect of laser treatment was observed after 2-3 sessions: reduction of pain and heaviness in the chest, lower intensity of cough, normalization of sleep, more rapid normalization of peripheral blood findings, biochemical indices, external respiration function and roentgenological picture, shorter hospitalization time.

RESUMO

The instability is shown of some types of hemodynamics in the course of 24 hours in healthy persons. Healthy persons with initial hyper- and normokinetic types of blood circulation are characterized by a disposition to inadequate reaction of the vascular tone in response to diurnal changes of the minute blood volume. Periodic elevation of the peripheral vascular resistance above permissible levels makes it necessary to carry out prophylactic measures against hypertensive disease.

RESUMO

Structural changes in alveolar lung tissue microcirculatory bed and circulatory disturbances (edema, hemorrhage, thrombosis) were studied in postresuscitation period after experimental clinical death following acute hemorrhage and mechanical asphyxia. Circulatory disturbances proved essential in the pathogenesis of postresuscitation respiratory insufficiency, follow a stepwise pattern and in early postresuscitation (up to 7 days) are pathogenetically associated with coagulopathic changes. There are periods of primary, marked and delayed disturbances, and the period of reparative changes which may cover up to 30 days since resuscitation. It is emphasized that the pattern and the degree of lung tissue damage in the postresuscitation are largely determined by circulatory disturbances.
