Anonymous research survey has been conducted among the patients of Surgical Department in Wojewodzki Szpital in Tychy. 98 people auswered the questionnaire. However, 16% the respondents found it difficult to have an appointment with a specialist. The answers obtained in a survey show a good function of the social welfare at this stage of the reform of the Health Service--connected with the access to surgical treatment.
