RESUMO

The decision-making algorithm serves as a fundamental component for advancing the level of autonomous driving. The end-to-end decision-making algorithm has a strong ability to process the original data, but it has grave uncertainty. However, other learning-based decision-making algorithms rely heavily on ideal state information and are entirely unsuitable for autonomous driving tasks in real-world scenarios with incomplete global information. Addressing this research gap, this paper proposes a stable hierarchical decision-making framework with images as the input. The first step of the framework is a model-based data encoder that converts the input image data into a fixed universal data format. Next is a state machine based on a time series Graph Convolutional Network (GCN), which is used to classify the current driving state. Finally, according to the state's classification, the corresponding rule-based algorithm is selected for action generation. Through verification, the algorithm demonstrates the ability to perform autonomous driving tasks in different traffic scenarios without relying on global network information. Comparative experiments further confirm the effectiveness of the hierarchical framework, model-based image data encoder, and time series GCN.

Poly(glycerol monomethacrylate) (PGMA) prepared by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerization was investigated as an additive for high-loading iron oxide nanoparticle (IOP) 3D printable inks. The effect of adjusting the molar mass and loading of PGMA on the rheology of IOP suspensions was investigated, and an optimized ink formulation containing 70% w/w IOPs and 0.25% w/w PGMA98 at pH 10 was developed. This ink was successfully 3D printed onto various substrates and into several structures, including rectangles, high aspect ratio cylinders, letters, spiral- and comb-shaped structures, and thin- and thick-walled toroids. The effect of sintering on the mechanical properties of printed artifacts was investigated via four-point flexural and compressive testing, with higher sintering temperatures resulting in improved mechanical properties due to changes in the particle size and microstructure. The printed toroids were fabricated into inductors, and their electrical performance was assessed via impedance spectroscopy at a working frequency range of 0.001-13 MHz. There was a clear trade-off between electrical properties and sintering temperature due to a phase change between γ-Fe2O3 and α-Fe2O3 upon heating. Nevertheless, the optimized devices had a Q factor of ∼40 at 10 MHz, representing a superior performance compared to that of other inductors with iron oxide cores previously reported. Thus, this report represents a significant step toward the development of low-cost, fully aqueous, high loading, and 3D printable ceramic inks for high-performance inductors and functional devices.

Hourglass-like constrictions (HLCs) of peripheral nerves in the upper extremity were a rare form of neuralgic amyotrophy, often characterized by the sudden onset of pain in the shoulder or arm, followed by muscle weakness and amyotrophy, with limited sensory involvement. We present a case of multiple HLCs of the anterior interosseous nerve (AIN) in a 22-year-old female with left upper arm pain, finger numbness, and limited activity for 1 month. Physical examination showed weakness of the left index flexor digitorum profundus and flexor pollicis longus, with mild hypoesthesia in the first three fingers and the radial half of the ring finger. Electromyography suggested a median nerve (mainly AIN) lesion. Ultrasonographic imaging of the median nerve shows AIN bundle swelling and multiple HLCs at left upper arm. Despite conservative treatment, which included 15 days of steroid pulse therapy, Etoricoxib, and oral mecobalamin, the patient still complained of extreme pain at night without relief of any symptoms. Operation was recommended for this patient with thorough concerns of surgical advantages and disadvantages. During surgery, a total of 7 HLCs were found in her median nerve along and above the elbow joint. Only Interfascicular neurolysis was performed because the nerve constrictions were still in the early stage. The pain was almost relieved the next day. One month after surgery, she could bend her thumb and index fingers, although they were still weak. 4 months after the surgery, she was able to bend affected fingers, with muscle strength M3 level. At the same time, her fingers had fewer numbness symptoms. There was still controversy regarding treatment strategy; however, early diagnosis and surgical treatment for nerve HLCs might be a better choice to promote nerve recovery.

Inflammatory processes are often accompanied by oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation, which might lead to cellular and organ damage. Carnosic acid (CA), an active component found in rosemary, exhibits pharmacological properties including antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral effects. The aim of this research was to investigate whether CA can mitigate lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced oxidative stress and inflammatory responses in poultry and to understand its underlying mechanisms. We administered CA to broiler chickens via oral gavage and treated them with LPS, followed by analysis of the effects of different dosages of CA on body weight, antioxidative capacity, and inflammatory factors. Carnosic acid had no significant impact on the body weight of broiler chickens. However, serum analysis indicated that the middle dose of CA effectively enhanced the antioxidative capacity and reduced levels of oxidative stress and inflammation-related factors. Moreover, in the liver, CA demonstrated the ability to regulate the expression of proteins such as heat shock protein 60 (HSP60), heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), and P38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (P38), suggesting its protective role against liver damage induced by LPS. In the intestinal tract of broiler chickens, CA regulated the expression and localization of proteins including HSP60, HSP70, NFE2 like bZIP transcription factor 2 (Nrf2), and P38, while also influencing the expression of inflammatory markers such as protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C (CD45), and connexin (Cx). These findings revealed the potential protective mechanisms of CA in alleviating oxidative stress and inflammatory damage induced by LPS in poultry. Carnosic acid notably enhanced the chickens' antioxidative capacity by modulating the expression of key proteins, thereby reducing oxidative stress and inflammatory response levels. This study provides a deeper comprehension of the protective mechanisms of CA and its potential impact on avian health.

Tuberculosis (TB), characterized by high mortality and low diagnosis, is caused by a single pathogen, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb). Imaging tools that can be used to track Mtb without pre-labeling and to diagnose live Mtb in clinical samples can shorten the gap between bench and clinic, fuel the development of novel anti-TB drugs, strengthen TB prevention, and improve patient treatment. In this study, we report an unprecedented novel nitroreductase-responsive cyanine-based fluorescent probe (Cy3-NO2-tre) that rapidly and specifically labels Mtb and detects it in clinical samples. Cy3-NO2-tre generated fluorescence after activation by a specific nitroreductase, Rv3368c, which is conserved in the Mycobacteriaceae. Cy3-NO2-tre effectively imaged mycobacteria within infected host cells, tracked the infection process, and visualized Mycobacterium smegmatis being endocytosed by macrophages. Cy3-NO2-tre also detected Mtb in the sputum of patients with TB and exhibited excellent photostability. Furthermore, the Cy3-NO2-tre/auramine O percentage change within 7 ± 2 days post drug treatment in the sputum of inpatients was closely correlated with the reexamination results of the chest computed tomography, strongly demonstrating the clinical application of Cy3-NO2-tre as a prognostic indicator in monitoring the therapeutic efficacy of anti-TB drugs in the early patient care stage.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a highly debilitating disorder of the central nervous system that can severely impact an affected patient's quality of life. This study aimed to examine how adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell exosomes (ADSC-exos) can be used to treat spinal cord injury. We analysed differentially expressed mRNAs in SCI using bioinformatics data, gene expression profiles in inflammatory cell models, RT-qPCR and WB. Apoptosis was detected with flow cytometry. Starbase provides the control mechanism for FDFT1. Target interactions were detected with dual-luciferase reporter and RIP assays. Exosomes were isolated from adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells and subsequently characterized with western blot analysis, transmission electron microscopy and nanoparticle tracking analysis. By analysing the GSE102964 database, we found that FDFT1 was significantly downregulated as SCI progressed. Overexpression of FDFT1 can significantly reverse the inflammatory response and apoptosis of BV2 cells induced by hemin. Mechanically, ADSC-exos can affect the expression of FDFT1 through the ceRNA mechanism mediated by LRRC75A-AS1 and in an RBP-dependent manner mediated by IGF2BP2. The overexpression of LRRC75A-AS1 significantly enhances BV2 apoptosis and can be reversed by FDFT1 knockdown. ADSC-exos LRRC75A-AS1 inhibits inflammation and reduces SCI by increasing the expression and stability of FDFT1 mRNA in a ceRNA and RBP-dependent manner.

γ -aminobutyric acid (GABA) is closely related to the growth, development and stress resistance of plants. Combined with the previous study of GABA to promote the cotton against abiotic stresses, the characteristics and expression patterns of GABA branch gene family laid the foundation for further explaining its role in cotton stress mechanism. Members of GAD, GAB-T and SSADH (three gene families of GABA branch) were identified from the Gossypium hirsutum, Gossypium barbadense, Gossypium arboreum and Gossypium raimondii genome. The GABA branch genes were 10 GAD genes, 4 GABA-T genes and 2 SSADH genes. The promoter sequences of genes mainly contains response-related elements such as light, hormone and environment.Phylogenetic analysis shows that GAD indicating that even in the same species, the homologous sequences in the family. The GABA-T gene of each cotton genus was in sum the family had gene loss in the process of dicotyledon evolution. SSADH families Gossypium hirsutum, Gossypium barbadense, Gossypium arboreum and Gossypium raimondii were closely related to the dicot plants.GABA gene is involved in the regulation of salt stress and high temperature in Gossypium hirsutum.GABA attenuated part of the abiotic stress damage by increasing leaf protective enzyme activity and reducing reactive oxygen species production.This lays the foundation for a thorough analysis of the mechanism of GABA in cotton stress resistance.

Functional genome research, including gene transcriptional and posttranslational modifications of histones, can benefit greatly from a high-quality genome assembly. Histone modification plays a significant role in modulating the responses to abiotic stress in plants. However, there are limited reports on the involvement of dynamic changes in histone modification in cold stress response in upland cotton. In this study, the genome of an elite accession, YM11, with considerable cold stress tolerance was de novo assembled, which yielded a genome of 2343.06 Mb with a contig N50 of 88.96 Mb, and a total of 73,821 protein-coding gene models were annotated. Comparisons among YM11 and five Gossypium allopolyploid cotton assemblies highlighted a large amount of structural variations and presence/absence variations. We analyzed transcriptome and metabolome changes in YM11 seedlings subjected to cold stress. Using the CUT&Tag method, genome-wide H3K4me3 and H3K9ac modification patterns and effect of histone changes on gene expression were profiled during cold stress. Significant and consistently changing histone modifications and the gene expressions were screened, of which transcription factors (TFs) were highlighted. Our results suggest a positive correlation between the changes in H3K4me3, H3K9ac modifications and cold stress-responsive gene activation. This genome assembly and comprehensive analysis of genome-wide histone modifications and gene expression provide insights into the genomic variation and epigenetic responses to cold stress in upland cotton.

OBJECTIVE: This study aims to provide a comprehensive summary of the existing literature and conduct a systematic evaluation of the clinical outcomes associated with anterior controllable antedisplacement and fusion (ACAF) and posterior laminoplasty (LP) for the treatment of multisegment ossification of the cervical posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). METHODS: We conducted an electronic search of databases, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and CNKI, from the inception of the initial database to March 2023. We analyzed various parameters, including demographic data, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, cervical curvature, Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores, Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores, and postoperative complications. Two independent reviewers screened the literature, extracted data, and assessed the risk of bias in the included studies. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software. RESULTS: Our evaluation encompassed 7 studies involving a total of 467 patients. The patient cohort was divided into 2 groups: Group A (ACAF) comprised 226 patients, while Group B (LP) comprised 241 patients. Overall, our statistical analysis revealed significant differences between the 2 groups (P < 0.05) in terms of intraoperative blood loss, operative time, JOA score, JOA score improvement rate, postoperative VAS score, postoperative cervical curvature, and the incidence of certain postoperative complications (C5 nerve root paralysis, dysphagia, and axial symptoms). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage and postoperative total complications between the 2 groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this study suggest that, in the treatment of multilevel cervical OPLL, ACAF yields superior outcomes compared to LP. Specifically, ACAF improves postoperative neurologic function, reduces postoperative pain, lowers intraoperative blood loss, improves postoperative cervical curvature, and decreases the incidence of C5 nerve root paralysis and postoperative axial symptoms. Nonetheless, ACAF is associated with longer operative times and a higher incidence of postoperative dysphagia, though the overall incidence of postoperative complications is similar. It is important to note that these conclusions should be interpreted cautiously due to the limited sample size and the variable quality of the included studies. Further research involving larger, high-quality studies is warranted to validate these findings.

BACKGROUND: Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) can cause neuronal apoptosis and lead to irreversible brain injury. Numerous lncRNAs have been reported to play important roles in CIRI, but it is unclear whether these lncRNAs can function through exosomes. METHODS: In this study, we utilized the middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R) animal model and the oxygen-glucose deprivation/ reoxygenation (OGD/R) cell model. RNA sequencing was performed to screen for differentially expressed lncRNAs in M2 microglia-derived exosomes (M2-Exos). RNA pull-down, RNA immunoprecipitation, co-immunoprecipitation and ubiquitination assays were used to explore the molecular mechanism of OIP5-AS1 in alleviating CIRI. RESULTS: M2-Exos could alleviate nerve injury and pyroptosis after CIRI in vitro and in vivo. OIP5-AS1 was found to be significantly up-regulated in M2-Exos and down-regulated in OGD/R neurons, MCAO/R mice and ischemic stroke patients. In MCAO/R mice, OIP5-AS1 could reduce cerebral infarct size, cerebral edema and mNSS scores, and inhibit the expression levels of pyroptosis-related proteins in brain tissue. TXNIP was confirmed to be a reliable binding protein of OIP5-AS1. OIP5-AS1 overexpression significantly attenuated MCAO/R-induced upregulation of TXNIP at the protein level, but not at the mRNA level. OIP5-AS1 promoted the TXNIP degradation process and increased the ubiquitination of TXNIP. ITCH could bind to TXNIP. ITCH overexpression or knockdown did not alter the mRNA level of TXNIP, but negatively regulated TXNIP expression at the protein level. ITCH accelerated the degradation and ubiquitination of TXNIP, which could be attenuated by OIP5-AS1 knockdown. OIP5-AS1 could improve neuronal damage and inhibit neuronal pyroptosis through TXNIP. CONCLUSIONS: M2-Exo-derived OIP5-AS1 can induce TXNIP ubiquitination and degradation by recruiting ITCH, negatively regulate TXNIP protein stability, inhibit neuronal pyroptosis, and attenuate CIRI.

The diversity of body joints and the complexity of joint motions cause flexible strain sensors to undergo complex strains such as stretching, compression, bending, and extrusion, which results in sensors that do not recognize different strains, facing great challenges in detecting the true motion characteristics of joints. Here, the monitoring of body joints' real motion characteristics has been realized by the sensor that can output response signals with different resistance trends for different strains. The sensor prepared by the sacrificial template method is characterized by a multilayered interlaced tunnel architecture and carbon black embedded in the inner wall of the tunnel. Stretching, compressive, and bending strains result in increasing, decreasing, and increasing resistance, followed by a decrease in resistance of the sensor, respectively. The sensor can still output distinguishable response signals, even in the presence of complex strains induced by squeezing. Low strain detection limits (0.03%) and wide detection ranges (>600%) are achieved due to the localized strain enhancement caused by the unique structure. The sensor can detect the motion characteristics of different joints in flexion-extension, abduction-adduction, and internal-external rotation, which, in turn, can be used for real-time monitoring of complex joint motions involved in limb rehabilitation. In addition, the sensor recognizes the 26 letters of the alphabet represented by sign language gestures. The above studies demonstrate the potential application of our prepared sensors in flexible, wearable devices.

The sustainable development of mycorrhizal industry is the key to solve the problem of "mycorrhizal forestry contradiction". As a major province of edible mushroom production and forestry resources in China, Fujian Province is also an important origin of mycorrhizal technology research and development, so it is more typical and practical to establish an index system to evaluate the sustainability of mycorrhizal industry development in Fujian Province. Through research interviews and data collection, a sustainable capacity evaluation system of mycorrhizal industry was established with 21 indicators in six dimensions: economic, ecological, social, cultural, political, and technological. A combination of CRITIC empowerment method and cloud model was used to evaluate the sustainability of mycorrhizal industry development in Fujian Province. The results show that although the economic sustainability of the mycorrhizal industry in Fujian Province is average, the overall development trend is good and there are not too many problems. The sustainability of ecological, social and technological levels all have large differences in the development of indicators and the overall development status is average, but overall, the ecological, social and technological levels show a steady forward development from 2017 to 2020. The cultural and political dimensions of sustainability not only have large differences in the development of indicators and an average overall development status, but also have a small development span from 2017 to 2020 and a slow overall development.

Objective: The objective of this study is to explore the association between patient-centered care (PCC) and inpatient healthcare outcomes, including self-reported physical and mental health status, subjective necessity of hospitalization, and physician-induced demand behaviors. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted to assess patient-centered care among inpatients in comprehensive hospitals through QR codes after discharge from September 2021 to December 2021 and had 5,222 respondents in Jiayuguan, Gansu. The questionnaire included a translated 6-item version of the PCC questionnaire, physician-induced behaviors, and patients' sociodemographic characteristics including gender, household registration, age, and income. Logistic regression analyses were conducted to assess whether PCC promoted self-reported health, the subjective necessity of hospitalization, and decreased physician-induced demand. The interactions between PCC and household registration were implemented to assess the effect of the difference between adequate and inadequate healthcare resources. Results: PCC promoted the patient's self-reported physical (OR = 4.154, p < 0.001) and mental health (OR = 5.642, p < 0.001) and subjective necessity of hospitalization (OR = 6.160, p < 0.001). Meanwhile, PCC reduced physician-induced demand in advising to buy medicines outside (OR = 0.415, p < 0.001), paying at the outpatient clinic (OR =0.349, p < 0.001), issuing unnecessary or repeated prescriptions and medical tests (OR = 0.320, p < 0.001), and requiring discharge and readmitting (OR = 0.389, p < 0.001). Conclusion: By improving health outcomes for inpatients and reducing the risk of physician-induced demand, PCC can benefit both patients and health insurance systems. Therefore, PCC should be implemented in healthcare settings.

Adenine base editors, enabling targeted A-to-G conversion in genomic DNA, have enormous potential in therapeutic applications. However, the currently used adenine base editors are limited by wide editing windows and off-target effects in genetic therapy. Here, we report human e18 protein, a RING type E3 ubiquitin ligase variant, fusing with adenine base editors can significantly improve the preciseness and narrow the editing windows compared with ABEmax and ABE8e by diminishing the abundance of base editor protein. As a proof of concept, ABEmax-e18 and ABE8e-e18 dramatically decrease Cas9-dependent and Cas9-independent off-target effects than traditional adenine base editors. Moreover, we utilized ABEmax-e18 to establish syndactyly mouse models and achieve accurate base conversion at human PCSK9 locus in HepG2 cells which exhibited its potential in genetic therapy. Furthermore, a truncated version of base editors-RING (ABEmax-RING or AncBE4max-RING), which fusing the 63 amino acids of e18 protein RING domain to the C terminal of ABEmax or AncBE4max, exhibited similar effect compared to ABEmax-e18 or AncBE4max-e18.In summary, the e18 or RING protein fused with base editors strengthens the precise toolbox in gene modification and maybe works well with various base editing tools with a more applicable to precise genetic therapies in the future.

Objective: To propose a nerve stereoscopic reconstruction technique based on ultrasound imaging for site diagnosis, intuitive reflection of disease severity, and classification of neuralgic amyotrophy (NA). Methods: We enrolled 44 patients with NA who underwent high-frequency ultrasonography examination. Multiple sites on the normal side and the affected side were scanned to calculate the ratio of the cross-section area (CSA) of the affected side to the normal side at each location measured, i.e., the cross-section area swelling ratio (CSASR). The CSASR of 44 patients and 30 normal controls was analyzed to determine their threshold value for the diagnosis of NA. Then, ultrasound images of the cross-section were used to reconstruct the stereoscopic model of the nerve on the affected side and the normal side. Using the CSASR values in each measurement location, a CSASR stereoscopic model was developed. Results: The threshold value of CSASR for ultrasound diagnosis of NA was 1.55. The average diseased segments per patient was 2.49 ± 1.97, with an average overall length of 10.03 ± 7.95 cm. Nerve stereoscopic reconstruction could be conducted for swelling, torsion, incomplete constriction, and complete constriction. Conclusion: The ultrasound image reconstruction method proposed in this study can accurately determine the site, range, and type of neuropathies in patients with NA, and simultaneously provide complete and accurate data information and intuitive morphological information.

The proper functioning of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) is crucial for the safety and efficiency of future intelligent transport systems. Meanwhile, transitioning to fully autonomous driving requires a long period of mixed autonomy traffic, including both CAVs and human-driven vehicles. Thus, collaborative decision-making technology for CAVs is essential to generate appropriate driving behaviors to enhance the safety and efficiency of mixed autonomy traffic. In recent years, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) methods have become an efficient way in solving decision-making problems. However, with the development of computing technology, graph reinforcement learning (GRL) methods have gradually demonstrated the large potential to further improve the decision-making performance of CAVs, especially in the area of accurately representing the mutual effects of vehicles and modeling dynamic traffic environments. To facilitate the development of GRL-based methods for autonomous driving, this paper proposes a review of GRL-based methods for the decision-making technologies of CAVs. Firstly, a generic GRL framework is proposed in the beginning to gain an overall understanding of the decision-making technology. Then, the GRL-based decision-making technologies are reviewed from the perspective of the construction methods of mixed autonomy traffic, methods for graph representation of the driving environment, and related works about graph neural networks (GNN) and DRL in the field of decision-making for autonomous driving. Moreover, validation methods are summarized to provide an efficient way to verify the performance of decision-making methods. Finally, challenges and future research directions of GRL-based decision-making methods are summarized.

Graphene oxide (GO) containing block copolymer nanocomposite hydrogels formed from poly(glycerol monomethacrylate-block-hydroxypropyl methacrylate) (PGMA-PHPMA) wormlike micelles were prepared by either mixing GO and copolymer at low temperature or via in situ reversible addition-fragmentation chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerisation-induced self-assembly (PISA) of HPMA in the presence of a PGMA macromolecular chain-transfer agent and GO flakes. Hydrogels containing 15-25% w/w copolymer and 0 and 8% w/w GO, based on copolymer, were investigated and the maximum gel strength measured was ∼33 kPa for a 25% w/w copolymer gel prepared by in situ polymerisation and containing 2% w/w GO based on copolymer. This gel strength represents a fifteen-fold increase over the same copolymer gel without the addition of GO. The nanocomposite gels were found to recover efficiently after the application of high shear, with up to 98% healing efficiency within seconds. These gels are also 3D printable, self-healing, adhesive and temperature responsive on cooling and re-heating. The observed properties were both GO and copolymer concentration dependent, and tensile testing demonstrated that the nanocomposite gels had higher moduli, elongation at break and toughness than gels prepared without GO.

Background: Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), the most abundant non-tumor cell population in the glioma microenvironment, play a crucial role in immune evasion and immunotherapy resistance of glioblastoma (GBM). However, the regulatory mechanism of the immunosuppressive TME of GBM remains unclear. Methods: Bioinformatics were used to analyse the potential role of ferritin light chain (FTL) in GBM immunology and explore the effects of FTL on the reprogramming of the GBM immune microenvironment and GBM progression. Results: The FTL gene was found to be upregulated in TAMs of GBM at both the bulk and single-cell RNA-seq levels. FTL contributed to the protumor microenvironment by promoting M2 polarization in TAMs via inhibiting the expression of iPLA2ß to facilitate the ferroptosis pathway. Inhibition of FTL in TAMs attenuated glioma angiogenesis, promoted the recruitment of T cells and sensitized glioma to anti-PD1 therapy. Conclusion: Our study suggested that FTL promoted the development of an immunosuppressive TME by inducing M2 polarization in TAMs, and inhibition of FTL in TAMs reprogrammed the TME and sensitized glioma to anti-PD1 therapy, providing a new strategy for improving the therapeutic effect of anti-PD1.

Farmers' participation in food safety governance is an important part of food safety social co-governance, and the accurate identification of its influencing factors and their related paths is of guiding significance to the scientific decision-making of food safety governance. The system of influencing factors of farmers' participation in food safety governance was constructed from four dimensions, and the influence network of each dimension was revealed by decision laboratory analysis (DEMATEL). The hierarchical structure and correlation path of influencing factors were determined by interpretive structural model (ISM), and the attributes of influencing factors were further classified by cross influence matrix multiplication (MICMAC). The results show that the influencing factors of farmers' participation in food safety governance can be divided into seven levels, among which the level of education and the status of village cadres are the fundamental characteristic factors. The degree of rural informatization, the intensity of government supervision, the promotion of village committees, the response of the government and the degree of disclosure of government information are the deep core factors, and risk cognition, political trust and family eating habits are special factors. Taking the importance and attribute status of farmers' participation in food safety governance into decision-making considerations is of great significance to improve the efficiency of food safety governance.

BACKGROUND: To assess the outcome of human urinary kallidinogenase (HUK) plus recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rT-PA) intravenous thrombolysis for stroke patients with an extended time window(4.5 to 9 h). METHODS: A total of 92 acute ischemic stroke patients who fulfilled the criteria were included in this study. All patients received basic treatment and intravenous rT-PA, and 49 patients received additional injections of HUK (HUK group) once a day for 14 consecutive days. Outcomes were indicated by the thrombolysis in cerebral infarction score as the primary endpoint and the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale, modified Rankin Scale, and Barthel Index as the secondary endpoints. The safety outcomes were the rate of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage, bleeding, angioedema, and mortality. RESULTS: The National Institute of Health Stroke Scale scores were significantly lower in the HUK group at hospital discharge (4.55 ± 3.78 vs 7.88 ± 7.31, P = 0.009) and day 90 (4.04 ± 3.51 vs 8.12 ± 9.53, P = 0.011). The improvements in the Barthel Index scores were more obvious in the HUK group. Patients in the HUK group achieved favorable functional independence (67.35% vs 46.51%; odds ratio: 2.37; 95% CI: 1.01-5.53) at 90 days. The recanalization rate of the HUK group was 64.10%, whereas that was 41.48% in the control group ( P = 0.050). The complete reperfusion rates were 42.9% and 23.3% in the HUK group and the control group, respectively. No significant differences were observed for adverse events between the two groups. CONCLUSIONS: Combination therapy of HUK plus rT-PA in patients with acute ischemic stroke with an extended time window can safely improve their functional outcomes.
