RESUMO

Verapamil was studied for its effects on secretory function of liver in rats. In the animals with low initial level of bile secretion, infusion of verapamil resulted in increase of the bile flow conjugated with taurine bile salts and ester of cholesterol, and in reduction of the non-conjugated bile salts secretion, as well as bile salts conjugated with glycine. In the animals with high initial level of the liver secretory function, verapamil decreased the bile flow, the secretion of unconjugated bile salts, and bile salts conjugated with taurine and glycine, phospholipids, cholesterol and its ester. The changes of bile flow and biliary secretion of bile acids and lipids in two groups of animals suggest that verapamil could be influenced in regulation of bile secretion depending on its initial level. Possible mechanisms of the bile secretion regulation by verapamil, are discussed.

RESUMO

Effects were studied of dalargin on the bile acids spectrum in the bile of patients with duodenal ulcer. Dalargin has been shown to increase the bile concentration of tauro- and glycochilates, with the concentration of free bile acids remaining unchanged or being on the decrease.

RESUMO

Many types of cells release ATP under the action of specific physiological signals. It is known that the ATP and other adenyl nucleotides is involved in the regulation of bile secretion too. The aim of our experiments was to determinate the influence of noradrenaline, fMLP and verapamile on the biliary secretion of adenyl nucleotides in bile-fistula rats. The biliary secretion of adenyl nucleotides was decreased under the influence of noradrenaline, fMLP (in doses 0.1 mkg/(100 g*30 min) and 10.0 mkg/(100 g*30 min)), verapamile and successive intraportal infusion of verapamile and noradrenaline (in 90 mM/l CaCl2 solution). It seems to be possible that noradrenaline, fMLP and verapamile regulate bile secretion on the level of energetic exchange.

RESUMO

Lactine was found to depress the level of the histamine secretion of the gastric juice and to reduce the debit of hydrochloric acid in dogs. This peptide suppressed mainly the spontaneous choleresis and alters the compound composition of the bile. Large doses of the hormone obviously suppress the transport of bilirubin into the secret.

RESUMO

The substance P was shown to be able to increase the level of histamine-induced stomach secretion and the debit of free hydrochloric acid in dogs. This peptide increases the volume velocity of the choleresis and the content of bile acids and protein in the bile. The substance P alters the range of the bile acids as well.
