RESUMO

Mental capability of higher school students of different specialties: technical (27 male and 35 female), natural (32 male and 30 female) and humanitarian (20 male and 26 female) were studied. The following parameters were studied: perception, attention, memory, thinking and mental capability. The results showed that the development of psychophysiological organization of informational processing system in higher school students of different specialties is characterized by geterocronyisms and depend on the field of professional training. The learning of technical specialties results in the new associative links set up and abstract concepts forming under the object analysis. The natural specialties promote of the cognitive functions development along with time interval perception forming. The humanitarian specialties are characterized by attention and associative thinking functions.

RESUMO

Some background mechanisms of the sex hormones changes in blood serum of the male rats under the alimentary loading by cholesterol during 21 weeks were investigated. Results suggested that in the conditions of the cholesterol loading estradiol level in the experimental rats was higher than similar indexes in animals of a control group. In relation to the testosterone level the later was lower during 12 weeks while since 15 week it exceeded the control levels. The possible mechanisms of redistribution in the biosynthesis of steroid hormones in the conditions of loading by cholesterol are discussed.

RESUMO

Membrane potential of aorta's endothelium, contractile responses of isolated preparation of the abdominal aorta and their modulation with calcium antagonists were studied at hypercholesterinemia (HHS). Membrane potential has been observed to be slightly depolarized at HHS, and acetylcholine-induced electric and contractile responses were shown to be depressed. Calcium antagonists had positive effect on MP, electric and contractile responses of the preparations of the abdominal aorta of rats with HHS. The most pronounced protective effect of membrane potential and contractile responses at HHS was observed in rats after asparcam using.

RESUMO

Possible mechanisms of influence of the angiotensinconverting enzyme in the calcigistia dynamics in the aorta and liver and lipid spectrum of the rat blood upon the long-live stress exposure were investigated. It is shown, that the blockade of the angiotensinconverting enzyme leads to the one-type changes of the calcium contents in organs studied, but with different quantity indicators. The contents of general cholesterol and high-density lipoproteins is intimately connected with the calcium contents in liver. Apparently, the results obtained mirror the most optimal mode of the cell survival in a long-term stress conditions, which are directly connected to a calcium homeostasis and its support by extra- and intracellular reserves.

RESUMO

A dynamics of calcium content in rat brain during endogenic hypercholesterolemia, caused by action of the stressful factor (restriction of vital space (80-100 sm2 per one individual) and high salt diet (2 g/kg)) was studied. It was revealed that under the given conditions there is an increase in calcium content in the brain. Nifedipine (2 mg/ kg per day) significantly reduced calcium content in the brain that has allowed making an assumption of some mechanisms of this phenomenon.

RESUMO

A dynamics of the content of calcium (Ca) in aorta, heart and skeletal muscles was studied in rats exposed to a stress factor for 21 weeks. We observed a 7-fold increase in its content in all the organs examined by the middle of an experiment and its progressive decrease by the 21-st week. It might result from the stages of stress and development of hypercholisterinemia. An inhibitor of L-type calcium channels niphidipine did not change the dynamics of Ca content qualitatively but it decreased its quantitative parameters, especially at final stages of experiments. We suggest that possible mechanism of keeping calcium homeostasis in the organs examined at different stages of stress is an intensive work of ligand- and potential-dependent calcium channels.

RESUMO

Effects of exogenic and endogenic hypercholesterinemia on morphological structure of aorta and liver were investigated. Both exogenic and endogenic hypercholesterinemia have been shown to induce different morphological changes in tissues of the aorta and the liver which were more expressed at endogenic hypercholesterinemia, as compared to exogenic one. The data obtained suggest that more pronounced impairments in the tissues examined which led to endogenic hypercholesterinemia were the result of a great number of neuroendocrine mechanisms involved in a stressful reaction.

RESUMO

The dynamics of calcium content in the liver under alimentary and immobilizing stresses was studied. To evaluate the functional state of the liver we conducted a simultaneous recording of the cholesterin level in the serum. Calcium has been shown to be accumulated in that organ, and it correlated positively with the level of cholesteremia. At a prolonged action of the stressors calcium accumulation was more significant in animals under immobilizing stress, as compared with those under alimentary one. The dynamic saturation of the liver with calcium was shown to reflect the stages of the stress. We suggest that calcium serves the trigger for the synthesis of cholesterin in the cells of the liver at stress. Thus, an adaptive reaction of the liver, and a possible mechanism of the hypercholesteremia initiation under stresses of different genesis have been demonstrated.

RESUMO

Some mechanisms of changing calcium content in brain and liver at alimentary hypercholesteremia were studied. Dynamics of calcium accumulation in tissues of the organs under exploration has proved its contribution to an adaptive reaction of the organism at alimentary stress and reflected peculiarities of its different stages. Similar and simultaneous dynamic changes in calcium accumulation in both organs (liver and brain) seem to be induced by stereotypical pathogenic mechanisms. The results contribute much to the current ideas of the pathogenesis of alimentar hypercholesteremia.

RESUMO

By use of H-reflex technique reflex flexor muscles motoneurons recurrent inhibition was studied for man forearm muscle. It was observed the reduce of this inhibition with the muscles strain. The vibration, acting to the strained muscle, showed a disappearance of inhibition. It was marked that these features can be connected to both segmental or supraspinal action to motoneurons or Renshaw cells. The recurrent inhibition is reduced more effectively under complex vibration and muscle strain influence than under only strain factor, and it is connected to the vibration. It seems to be connected to the more activated receptors number. It is suggested that supraspinal inhibiting action on Renshaw cells is preferred in this mechanism. Possible role of the presynaptic inhibition is discussed that can be effective through skin or joint afferents of flexor reflex.
