[Application of antiseptic dekasan in urgent abdominal surgery].

Experience in local application of antiseptic Dekasan in the complex treatment of abdominal infections of various origins are presented. The clinical and economic efficacy of the drug application is notice.

[The causes of early postoperative complications in the surgical treatment of hemorrhaging gastroduodenal ulcers]. / Prichiny rannikh posleoperatsionnykh oslozhnenii pri khirurgicheskom lechenii krovotochashchikh gastroduodenal'nykh iazv.

Based on the material of 1201 patients who had been operated on for complicated gastroduodenal ulcers, the causes are analyzed of the early postoperative complications (EPC) development. The EPCs were encountered in 15.5%. The most important risk factors identified in the study included peptic ulcer complications, the degree of severity of ulcer bleeding, time for the surgical intervention to be done, the technique employed, with the effects thereof having been studied on the EPC occurrence. Stenosis presenting with penetration and gigantic ulcers was found out to have the most apparent impact on the origination of EPC.

[Effectiveness of the use of solcoseryl after surgery of acute hemorrhage in gastroduodenal ulcer]. / Effektivnost' primeneniia solkoserila posle operatsii po povodu ostrogo krovotecheniia iz gastroduodenal'noi iazvy.

The experience of solcoseryl application in 70 patients, operated on for an acute hemorrhage from gastroduodenal ulcer, was summarized. The preparation was injected intravenously in the dose of 10 ml in 5% solution of glucose every other day during 6 days and then in the dose of 5 ml intramuscularly during 4-5 days. High efficacy of solcoseryl, manifesting by more earlier elimination of pain and oedema, healing of mucosa by first intention, shortening of the treatment duration in stationary by 3-5 days, was established.
