RESUMO

Exclusive acral involvement in neonatal pemphigus is unusual. Blisters in neonatal bullous pemphigoid, affecting 2%-3% of newborns of mothers with gestational pemphigoid, can be located in the trunk, limbs and acral areas. Unlike neonatal bullous pemphigoid, which can appear up to 5 days after birth, neonatal pemphigus is often revealed at birth. They are benign diseases in newborns. There is no correlation between the disease severity in babies and mothers. Neonatal risk is dominated by the side effects of corticosteroid therapy.

RESUMO

Wells syndrome is a rare eosinophilic syndrome, associating inflammatory lesions, suggestive histological images and frequent eosinophilia. Wells syndrome is characterized by multiplicity of anatomoclinical forms. Clinically, lesions may be urticarial, annular, papulonodular, papulovesicular or bullous. On histopathology, the flame aspect is by no means specific and late.

RESUMO

Syringocystadenoma Papilliferum (SCAP) is a benign adnexal tumor. Most of the cases present with a solitary lesion in the head and neck region at birth or in early childhood. In fact, only two cases of SCAP on the lower leg have been reported in the literature. We report an atypical case by its location and its clinical aspect.

RESUMO

Granulma annulare is a polymorphic granulomatous disease of the skin. It has a chronic course and affects mainly children and young adults. We report two cases of generalized granuloma annulare in children successfully treated with antimalarials. Two children, 6 and 12 years of age, without clinical history, presented with multiple granuloma annulare lesions which did not respond to potent topical steroids. Blood glucose level was normal. These lesions responded to small doses of antimalarials. No side effects were noticed. Compared with other drugs, with potential important side effects for children. Small doses of antimalarials might be beneficial in the treatment of generalized granuloma annulare.
