RESUMO

The aim of study is the analysis of pulp nerve fibers demyelination degree and its relationship with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score that may be measured as objective criteria. Material and methods of study. Step I: electron micrografs of dental pulp simples with special interest of myelin structural changes detected in 3 scores system, obtained from 80 patients, displays in 4 groups: 1) acute and 2) chronic pulpitis without and with accompined systemic deseases, 20 patients in each group. Dental care was realized in Kutaisi N1 Dental clinic. Step II - self-reported VAS used for describing dental pain. All data were performed by SPSS 10,0 version statistics including Spearmen-rank and Mann-Whitny coefficients for examine the validity between pulp demyelination degree and pain intensity in verbal, numbered and box scales. Researched Data were shown that damaged myelin as focal decomposition of membranes and Schwann cells hyperthrophia correspond with acute dental pain intensity as Spearman index reported in VAS numbered Scales, myelin and axoplasm degeneration as part of chronic gangrenous pulpitis disorders are in direct correlation with VAS in verbal, numbered and behavioral Rating Scales. In fact, all morphological and subjective data, including psychomotoric assessment of dental painin pulpitis may be used in dental practice for evaluation of pain syndrome considered personal story.

RESUMO

The purpose of research is the definition of androgens role and myocardial androgen receptors and sex steroids in males under metabolic and hormonal "stress" induced by the experimental diabetes. Research was carried out on 60 rats-males, mass 180,0-200,0 g. The diabetes reproduced by single injection of alloxan (200mg/kg). Androgen receptors were revealed by the radiometric and radioautography methods. The content of glucose, immunoreactive insulin, testosteron, estradiol, corticosteron and somatotropin were defined in animals blood plasma. On the early terms of alloxan diabetes estradiol concentration increase against a background of testosteron decrease which causes the "feminization" of the sexual hormonal balance. On the other side the increase of androgen receptors expression by cardiomyocytes causes the intensification of myocardium tissue physiologic ability to androgens perception positively influencing on the metabolism. Consequently, androgens provoke stimulating effect on the myocard metabolism in males at early stages of the experimental diabetes.

RESUMO

Among many toxic substances present in the nature, phenol represents one of those, which may be considered as the endocrinological deregulator. We were conducting experiment on 40 male rats every day influencing by inhalation of the vapor of the phenol, as they laid on the thigh, at the second stage after the inhalation we were making injections of the liquid oxygen under the skin to each rats for the purpose of treatment. After we produced the decapitation of the animals under general narcoses, we took the hypothalamus and investigated concentrations of biogenic amines - dopamine, noradrenalin and serotonin. It was shown that in response to the inhalation of the phenol concentration of the biogenic amines has been abolished in comparison with the norm. The liquid oxygen gave the therapeutic effect.

RESUMO

It is known that the male reproduction system is too sensitive to the impact of the environment conditions. One of such endocrine deregulators is phenol. The experiment was held on the 40 adult male albino rats of the mass 200-250 g. Each animal during 15 days was daily experienced intoxication with phenol in the special closed cabin. On the 16th, 30th, 45th and 60th days after the initiation of the experiment we performed decapitation of the animals in conditions of general anesthetic, after what in the blood serum we defined alteration of the concentration of gonadotrope hormones LH, FSH and sexual steroids--testosterone, estrone, estradiol, by means of immune-enzyme method. During the experiment the significant alterations of hormones concentration were revealed, namely, in the mentioned research it was revealed that LH did not stimulate the testosterone secretion, conversely it decreased, while the estrogen concentration increased. The mentioned data gave us basis to conclude that the impact of the phenol vapor caused disorder of the male reproduction function.
