STATEMENT OF PROBLEM: The mechanical strength of 3-dimensionally (3D) printed interim resins is unclear but influenced by printing parameters. Evidence regarding standardization of the postpolymerization type and time for 3D printed interim resins is sparse. PURPOSE: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the influence of postpolymerization type and time on flexural strength and dimensional stability of 3D printed resins for interim restorations. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A total of 288 bars were 3D printed (Form 2; Formlabs, stereolithography-SLA, 50 µm, 30 degrees), (25×2×2 mm; International Organization for Standardization-ISO 4049:2019) abraded and randomly divided into 9 groups (n=30) according to postpolymerization (Ultraviolet device-UV; Microwave with water-MWA; Microwave without water-MW) and time (15, 20, and 30 minutes for UV; and 5, 8, and 10 minutes for MW and MWA). Each bar was then measured with digital calipers at 11 points for length, thickness, and width before and after postpolymerization to analyze dimensional stability. The flexural strength was then measured (σ; 980.6 N, 1 mm/minute) and the fractured surfaces were analyzed with scanning electron microscopy. The σ (MPa) data were evaluated by using a 2-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the Tukey honestly significant difference (HSD) pairwise comparisons test (α=.05). Dimensional stability data (mm) were analyzed by using the Kruskal-Wallis test and Dwass-Steel-Critchlow-Fligner multiple comparisons. The Weibull analysis was performed with σ data. RESULTS: The 2-way ANOVA revealed that all factors and their interaction were significant for σ (P<.001). The UV groups presented the highest σ values, being statistically higher than all MW and MWA groups. The Weibull analysis revealed that postpolymerization UV groups found the highest values regarding the characteristic strength, although the MW 8-minute group (13.71) found the highest value for the Weibull modulus. Furthermore, the Kruskal-Wallis test revealed that only the postpolymerization factor was significant for dimensional stability (P<.001). The postpolymerization microwave groups found greater expansion variations at all times, with the MW 8-minute group (0.78⯱0.54) presenting the greatest variation in dimensional stability. CONCLUSIONS: UV was determined to be the most suitable type of postpolymerization for interim printed resin among the postpolymerization methods, regardless of the application time. The postpolymerization MW groups found greater variations in dimensional stability.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo a análise simbólica da obra literária e cinematográfica Harry Potter de acordo com o referencial da psicologia analítica. Na amplificação simbólica da saga procurou-se compreender clinicamente o desenvolvimento anímico de Harry Potter, especialmente facultado por seu encontro com Gina Weasley, aquela que viria a se tornar sua esposa e mãe dos seus filhos. O foco do estudo foi delimitado segundo o eixo temático adolescência e processo de individuação. Ao longo do processo relatado, "o menino que sobreviveu" simboliza a criança ferida e o adolescente que encontra com tutores de resiliência que o auxiliam a confrontar suas feridas e consolidar sua identidade. Conclui-se que, ao final da saga, o personagem abre mão do poder ilimitado, supera a ferida e as defesas narcísicas, podendo entregar-se a um relacionamento maduro e fértil.
The present work aims to symbolically analyze both the literary and the cinematographic Harry Potter series in accordance with the framework of analytical psychology. By analyzing the saga, this paper sought to clinically understand the animic development of Harry Potter, especially facilitated by Gina Weasley. The focus of the study was defined according to the themes of adolescence and the process of individuation. Throughout the described process "the boy who survived" symbolizes the injured child and teenager who meets tutors of resilience. These encounters helped him to confront his wounds and consolidate his identity. At the end of the saga, our hero gives up the unlimited power, overcomes the wound and the narcissistic defenses and succeeds in a mature and fertile relationship.

Objetivando discutir a malandragem como defesa de uma ferida narcísica, foi feita a ampliação simbólica das músicas "Recado" (Gonzaguinha), "Garganta" (Ana Carolina), "Cara Valente" (Marcelo Camelo) e outras do movimento musical denominado nova MPB, correlacionando-as com aspectos teóricos da psicologia analítica e a prática clínica. Entendendo a malandragem como um desdobramento possível de uma ferida narcísica coletiva, este artigo reflete sobre o papel terapêutico da música popular brasileira no resgate dos dinamismos matriarcal e patriarcal para alcançar a alteridade em nossa sociedade.
This article aims to discuss the trickery as a defense of a narcissist wound. For such, some songs of the so-called musical movement new MPB were symbolic interpreted, such as "Recado" (by Gonzaguinha), "Garganta" (by Ana Carolina) and "Cara Valente" (by Marcelo Camelo), associating the interpretation to the theory of analytical psychology and to clinical practice. This article is a reflection on the therapeutic function of Brazilian popular music in the redemption of the matriarchal and patriarchal dynamisms to achieve alterity in society.

A anorexia nervosa caracteriza-se pela manutenção voluntária de um peso corporal abaixo do esperado para a idade e altura, justificada pelo medo de engordar. No presente artigo, discutem-se hipóteses sobre os fatores envolvidos na vulnerabilidade psicológica para a anorexia nervosa. Mais especificamente, abordam-se perturbações na relação precoce com a figura materna e na estruturação matriarcal, tanto na polaridade receptiva (filho) como na polaridade ativa, provedora do autocuidado (mãe). Essas perturbações podem gerar dificuldades no estabelecimento do narcisismo saudável, o qual é responsável por um sentimento de continuidade da existência e de validade subjetiva. Tais falhas precoces favorecem a adesão onipotente a um ideal de magreza e autocontrole de forma compensatória. Discutem-se também as implicações que essas hipóteses trazem para o tratamento global da paciente e também para a abordagem psicoterápica.
Anorexia nervosa is characterized by a refusal to maintain a normal body weight for height and age, based on intense fear of becoming fat. We discuss a few hypothesis concerning psychological vulnerability for anorexia nervosa. We specifically describe problematic issues in the primary relationship between the girl and the mother figure. This experience of the mother archetype impairs both its receptive and active polarity (daughter). We suggest these initial problems interfere with the establishment of healthy narcissism and a basic sense of security and of inner validity that it provides. The anorexic patient seems to compensate this lack of solid narcissistic foundations with omnipotent weight control and rigid ideal of thinness. We also discuss implications of these ideas to patient treatment and psychotherapy.

OBJECTIVE: Estimate the prevalence of psychotropic drugs use in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and establish its relationship with the presence of mental disorders. METHODS: A probabilistic sample of non-institutionalized individuals, from the general population of Rio de Janeiro (nâ=â1208;turn out:81%), 15 years or older, who were interviewed using the Composite International Diagnostic Interview 2.1 (depression, anxiety-phobia, OCD\PTSD, alcoholism sections), and asked about their psychotropic use during a 12 and one-month period before the interview. Data were collected between June/2007-February/2008.The prevalence was estimated with a confidence interval of 95%. The associations between psychotropics use and mental disorders were analyzed through a logistic regression model (Odds Ration - OR). RESULTS: The one-month prevalence of psychotropic drug use was 6.55%, 3.19% for men and 9.13% for women. Antidepressants were the most frequently used drug (2.78%), followed by anorectics (1.65%), tranquilizers (1.61%) and mood stabilizers (1.23%). General practitioners issued the highest number of prescriptions (46.3%), followed by psychiatrists (29.3%); 86.6% of the psychotropic drugs used were paid for by the patient himself. Individuals with increased likelihood of using psychotropic drugs were those that had received a psychiatric diagnosis during a one-month period before the study (OR:3.93), females (OR:1.82), separated/divorced (OR:2.23), of increased age (OR:1.03), with higher income (OR:2.96), and family history of mental disorder (OR:2.59); only 16% of the individuals with a current DSM IV diagnosis were using a psychotropic drug; 17% among individuals with a depression-related diagnosis and 8% with Phobic Anxiety Disorders-related diagnosis used psychotropics. CONCLUSION: Approximately 84% of individuals displaying some mental disorder did not use psychotropic drugs, which indicates an important gap between demand and access to treatment. A significant failure is evident in the health system for patients with mental disorders; this could be due to health workers' inability to recognize mental disorders among individuals.

Os conceitos de promoção de saúde e de escola promotora de saúde participaram da delimitação do foco para a compreensão simbólica, realizada no referencial teórico da psicologia analítica. Foi utilizada a definição de promoção de saúde expressa na Carta de Ottawa (1986), redigida como conclusão da Primeira Conferência Internacional sobre a Promoção da Saúde. A compreensão simbólica destacou os dinamismos matriarcal e patriarcal que concorrem para o estabelecimento da alteridade na tentativa de aproximar as polaridades diversidade inclusiva e homogeneidade excludente, expressas extensivamente na obra de Rowling. A força dos símbolos explorados, demonstrada pelo impacto da obra, faz-nos acreditar acreditar na prontidão da consciência coletiva para a discussão profunda e realista do lugar da diversidade e da inclusão na vida escolar
