RESUMO

The article deals with materials concerning solution of topical problems in occupational medicine. The authors present some theoretic principles and practical solutions resulting from those materials. Being natural and experimental basis of various medical branches, clinical physiology methods are proved prospective for solution of scientific and practical problems of occupational medicine.

RESUMO

I.P. Pavlov and I.P. Razenkov made a great theoretical, methodological and practical contribution into specification of "human-environment" problem. The followers have successfully continued research in this sphere, enriching science and practice including occupational medicine.

RESUMO

The problem of neurohumoral regulation is a key feature in the activities of I. P. Razenkov. I. P. Razenkov extended the notion of humoral regulation (1924-1937) and formulated the main aspects of the neurohumoral regulation concept. Further concretization of this concept was made on the model of the digestive system. The results of all studies have been generalized.

RESUMO

In unrestrained rabbits, the local blood flow (LBF), the unit activity in the motor cortex, the EEG, and the EMG of forelimbs were simultaneously recorded during different kinds of stimulation. The EEG arousal response and the increase in the firing rate of unspecific neurons were only followed by the increase in the LBF on adequate stimulation or movement, whereas on inadequate stimulation it was the decrease in the LBF. With the specific neurons, the increase or decrease in their firing rate corresponded either to enhancement or to reduction of the LBF on adequate and inadequate stimulation. The above correlations were only revealed at the normal functional state of the cerebral cortex. The energy expenditure of specific neurons is suggested to be the main factor in the mechanism for the LBF control.

RESUMO

A possibility was shown of using the method of venocclusion rheoplethysmoencephalography (RPEG) for the assessment of the extent of changes in the cerebral circulation (CC) in individual regions of the cerebral hemispheres of a practically healthy man in various functional loads. The changes in the CC was recorded in per cent in respect to its initial background value. Data on the increase (by 114%) of the CC in the centralparietal region of the left cerebral hemisphere in movement with the right hand and on its reduction (by 45%) in sound stimulation. In the adjacent (temporal) region the changes in the CC were of other character.
