RESUMO

An ultrafast fiber laser system comprising two coherently combined amplifier channels is reported. Within this system, each channel incorporates a rod-type fiber power amplifier, with individual operations reaching approximately 233 W. The active-locking of these coherently combined channels, followed by compression using gratings, yields an output with a pulse energy of 504 µJ and an average power of 403 W. Exceptional stability is maintained, with a 0.3% root mean square (RMS) deviation and a beam quality factor M2 < 1.2. Notably, precise dispersion management of the front-end seed light effectively compensates for the accumulated high-order dispersion in subsequent amplification stages. This strategic approach results in a significant reduction in the final output pulse duration for the coherently combined laser beam, reducing it from 488 to 260 fs after the gratings compressor, while concurrently enhancing the energy of the primary peak from 65% to 92%.

Cassava starch/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CC) was used as the substrate to create a multipurpose food packaging film, and caffeic acid@silica nanoparticles (C@SNPs) was added. The encapsulation rate of caffeic acid in C@SNPs was 84.7 ± 0.97 %. According to SEM pictures, the nanoparticles were evenly dispersed throughout the film and exhibited good compatibility with the other polymers. C@SNPs was added, which enhanced the physical characteristics of film and decreased its water solubility. The best mechanical and oxygen barrier qualities among them are found in the C@SCC5:1 film, whose tensile strength rises from 7.17 MPa to 15.44 MPa. The C@SCC5:1 film has scavenging rates of 95.43 % and 84.67 % against ABTS and DPPH free radicals, respectively, and CA can be released continuously in various food systems. In addition, the antibacterial rate of E. coli O157:H7 and S. aureus of C@SCC5:1 film in meat was 99.9 %, and it can effectively delay lipid oxidation and pH rise. In conclusion,C@SCC5:1 film is a new type of antibacterial and antioxidant food packaging material.

This study aimed to prepare edible films with cassava starch (CS) and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) as basic raw materials and apple polyphenol (AP) as biologically active components. The addition of AP makes the flexibility of the film increase first and then decrease while the tensile strength decreases slightly and the barrier ability increases significantly. When the AP concentration was 70 mg/mL, the tensile strength of the film decreased from 5.61 ± 0.45 to 3.36 ± 0.19, the water vapor transmittance decreased from 7.17 ± 0.17 to 4.97 ± 0.07 and the peroxide value decreased from 1.896 ± 0.04 to 0.53 ± 0.04. By studying the microstructure of CS/CMC/AP-4 film, it was found that hydrogen bonds were formed between AP, CS, and CMC, and they showed high compatibility, thus improving the crystallinity. On this basis, the roughness of the film decreases and the compactness is enhanced. The increase in compactness is directly related to the increase in blocking ability. At the same time, the improvement of thermal stability is attributed to the increase in crystallinity. In addition, the application of CS/CMC/AP-4 film in chicken preservation also proved its antioxidant potential.
